Best Toyota Tacoma Trailer Tires and Wheels

Tires arrived on time with no obvious damage or problems. We have not used them yet, we will see how they hold up in our 100+ degree weather on the road. I’ll reevaluate once they’ve been tested

The two 4.80-12 trailer tires came well packaged. They held some air but had to be inflated to 90 psi. The paint job was nice and I observed no chips. Each wheel had a black and red stripe around the outer ring. The tires were labeled LOAD STAR with a load rating of C and two ply sidewalls. I checked and Load Star tires are made by Kenda so that satisfied me. I am looking forward to many trouble free miles with these tires. Free and fast shipping was also appreciated.

I’ve had great experiences in the past but this time wasn’t the case. I ordered these tires for my raft trailer. I ordered these on Sunday evening because they would arrive on Wednesday as I was leaving on a week long vacation on Friday. Well the tires didn’t show till Friday and then they weren’t the right size!! Very disappointed. I called customer service to explain my concern and was not impressed. Customer service is not what it once was. Yes I was offered to make the order correct but after this huge inconvenience and having to buy an additional set of tires from a local shop I’m stuck with two sets of tires and a feeling like I am just another victim of a crappy online shopping experience.

I couldn’t be happier with the wheels/tires I purchased. The galvanized finish is nice and shiny. They almost look polished. The tires felt great. Nice and smooth while towing up to 80mph. Had no issues at all on my trip. Huge thank you to Brent J who helped me purchase them, and provided excellent customer service.

I needed a new set of tires for a camper I recently sold. I had bought trailer tires from etrailer in the past with great results. My expectations were met and exceeded again this time. The quality of the product, the communication, the price and the speed of delivery cannot be surpassed. I got a great set of Kenda tires on USA made rims for a great price. Tires are kind of like brake jobs, do you really want a cheap one? Sure A****n is great for a lot of stuff but I’m not going to go barreling down the road towing a trailer on poor quality tires. Do yourself a favor and get it right the first time. It’ll save you money in the long run!

Very nice tires for a great price. I installed them on our little StarCraft Tent trailer, upgrading from the stock 8inch tire/wheel combination. Absolutely zero modification on this particular trailer, both on the hubs and the rear spare tire mount. Raised the stance a bit and trails better than ever. I have approx 1000 miles on them and so far no wear to speak of. A most beneficial upgrade!

Just finished a harbor freight 4 x 8 trailer and turning it into a kayak trailer. Class B tires came with the trailer and I am immediately replacing them with the Kenda Class C 4.80 x 12" from etrailer.com. This gives me a higher speed tire and at least I can "feeL" safer at 65 mph or so if I have to speed a little to go around a car or on the Interstate. Very impressed with these tires and fast shipping received. Here is picture of trailer.

Great products and very good prices on quality tire. Quick shipment and boxed very nicely. Fit on trailer hub perfectly. Videos really helped me measure hub lugs and explain ply difference and load range differences. I have a better product which will haul more. I will be buying a hitch and wiring for another car and the videos show me how easy it is to install. Companies around here want up to $400.00 to install. Thanks for the service will be back

I was very impressed with the product. The tire and rim look excellent. It came in a box. Others do not. I would order again. Shipping took longer then I thought to get shipped. But once shipped it got here in a day I think.

The storage case for the hub was broke in half with several internal pieces. This is because the husband case were shipped in a large volume box with a small trailer wheel with almost no packing. I’m sure both hub and wheel tumbled around in that box caused the damage.

I bought two new wheels and tires to prevent having a flat on a long trip which is exactly what happened just one week after purchasing because there was a leak at the base of the valve stem.

well long story short, bought local from DEALER ,they were garbage ! i guess 3rd times a charm! excellent every thing !price ,fit, and shipping at my garage in 3 days !i suggest if you need a set buy them here you will not be disappointed ! put them on my trailer today .can't wait to take it for a haul !1 HAPPY GUY thanks

I couldn't be happier. This wheel and tire combo was a perfect replacement for my old rusty dry rotted whee's and tires. They came ready to go out of the box and they even got delivered 2 days earlier than expected. I will be coming back here the next time I need utility tires.

I received the tires this afternoon and immediately installed them on my Stainless steal plate Motorcycle trailer. It fits two Harley Motorcycles so the "E" rated 1.650 lbs rating per tire was perfect and great for highway speeds with 87mph rated tires will run smoothly. These are perfect for doing heavy duty hauling at high speeds.

I trailer my boat on gravel roads in northern Minnesota to my favorite fishing lakes. After one year of usage these tires are still holding up to the difficult terrain. In the past with other tire brands, I would typically have to start plugging holes in the tires or replace them by mid-summer but I haven’t had any issues with these yet. So, after one year, I’m very pleased with these after previously trying trailer tires from at least three other tire manufacturers.

I purchased tires and wheels along with new u-bolts and spring seats for a Coleman pop-up camper I purchased that had seized a wheel bearing and destroyed a tire and wheel. Shipping was prompt, all parts were exactly what I wanted and I am very pleased with my etrailer experience. The project turned out perfect and I now have a camper that has a little extra ground clearance for those off-the-beaten-path spots that we enjoy. Just unpackaged my two new wheels and tires. The ordering process, packaging, and delivery were great. In all honesty it’s hard to get over the extremely poor galvanizing on these rims. I read the other reviews mentioning the same but chose to cross my fingers and try them. I know these are for a boat trailer, but geez. I don’t like the maintenance of aluminum wheels in salt water and wanted hot dipped galvanized wheels. I wish there was a choice of a better quality wheel, it would be worth it. My biggest miff would be that there is no quality oversight or they just don’t care. I still need to order a spare, but I am now rethinking that. My old rims may been just fine after all….

Very disappointed, The tire was received with no air pressure and the tire bead was not seated to the tire rim on one side. When I tried to fill the tire with air from my air compressor, the value stem broke off. I called etrailer and they referred me to the Kenda warranty department. Called Kenda and left a message (no one answered) and also sent an email with pic's. I needed this for my snowmobile trailer, and the season is running short. Not sure if I will order another tire from etrailer again. I have had good experience with other items I have ordered from etrailer. Was hopping etrailer would just send me another tire right away. Now I have to deal with Kendra.

I have ridden now 25yrs to the Sturgis Bike Rally pulling my 15sqft or 23sqft trailer behind my Harley. I've always ordered the trailer tires from etrailer.com. Tires arrived on time. Rims have a fairly rough finish to them with some marks from machining. However, I guess for the price point they’re not terrible. First time I took the boat out of the garage with the new tires on, I had a problem. On the way back home on the freeway I had a blow out with one of these tires. I put the spare on, and it seems fine, along with the tire that didn’t blow out. I guess things happen, but that’s not the reason for my low rating. When tire shopping, I saw lots of talk about great customer service from etrailer. When my tires were delivered, I received a welcome email. However, when I emailed them using the address they provided asking them if there was any kind of road hazard warranty on their tires as these were brand new, no response. If the answer is no, it’s no. Or if there’s some type of discount when replacing a new tire in these situations that they offer, but to receive no response, that’s simply not anything but 1 star customer service.

The tires/arrived on time and looked great. I was a little disappointed to discover the max weight capability of the wheel was slightly less than Load Range D which was the main reason I bought the tires to replace the Load Range C tires/wheels on my boat trailer. Minor issue though, thanks for your help!

I haven’t mounted them on my trailer but I’m concerned about quality control . Two are identical . The third seems to be narrower along the inside wall and won’t stand on its own like the other two .

These tires are great. I replaced the car tires that were on my utility trailer when I bought it and the trailer seems to tow much better and can now handle the weight of a load of wood much easier with the stiffer sidewalls. Had them mounted and balanced at a local tire shop which is most likely why the trailer tows better. I would definitely go with these again.

Arrived in proper shipping boxes, shipping was a week, needed them faster due to leaving for camping and bad tires but they got changed the day we left.

This is the first time I have ordered trailer tires from Etrailer and I did not know what to expect with regard to service and product quality. The last pair of tires I had on my pontoon boat trailer were 185/80R13 Marathon tires but according to the specifications, the Etrailer 185/80R13 tires had a better load rating and higher safe speed rating than my old Marathon tires. My Etraier tires also have a 2/2018 date of manufacturing which was also a plus.

Tires arrived quickly, package well, and best of all they are only two months old. Will evaluate tires as time goes by, but etrailer.com did a great job of fulfilling my order.
