Best Toyota Tacoma Battery Chargers

Thanks etrailer for bringing this product to the USA market. I found the REDARC chargt talked about on Australian “caravan” blogs before etrailer had it for sale and considered trying to buy it from an Australian vendor. I use the BCDC1225D to charge my 200 amp hour lithium battery in my truck camper. I have 350 watts of rooftop solar and ran 8gauge wiring from the truck battery through a bed mounted Andersen connector. The very compact size of the unit allowed me to tuck it away in a small space in my camper. I wired it up just as suggested in the instructions and it worked perfectly. I’m getting the full 25 amp charge that the solar panels will provide at midday and get the added benefit of being able to charge at the same rate while driving in the dark. The thing works great. This unit has worked fine for me. Once wired up I can pretty much forget about it and know that it's charging my house battery whenever I start my vehicle. Probably more important is the automatic disconnection it makes from my starting battery & vehicles charging system when I shut down the vehicle. As well the convenience of adding a solar panel to the system to charge the house battery while the unit still AUTOMATICALLY chooses the best option to charge and disconnects anytime I shut down the vehicle. There are a LOT of different devices/ electronics to accomplish this but the Redarc seems to combine many features/connections in one convenient unit. I have not had the solar portion hooked up yet BUT my understanding is that when I get ready to do so I will NOT need to order a separate MPPT charge controller as that is a built in feature of the unit. These units are a bit pricy for up front cost but seems to provide a lot of features all in one compact unit with a fairly simple wire connection to get it up and charging.

Purchased solar panel to keep my trailer battery fully charged, since it is not used frequently I do not want the battery to be low when it is needed. I have not yet mounted it and will put it in the tool box when using the trailer since the truck alternator will be charging when in use.

I have one on my dump trailer and one on my 5th wheel. I havent had any issues at all. Easy to install and works as described.

Product works as expected to maintain marine battery installed in car hauler. Battery powers winch and interior lights. Redarc charges the battery while towing without overloading charge circuit on truck. Installation was easy. Installed for one year. Very pleased.

Using this as a current limiter to charge an auxiliary battery on my auto hauler. Wiring is extremely simple for a standard 14v application. Small unit that fit easily in the tongue box.

Timely delivery arrival, very good packing job, undamaged NEW items arrived due to good customer service. This is definitely a high quality unit. The heat generating epoxy-sealed electronics are protected from overheat by a generous amount of blue-anodized extruded aluminum cooling fins. This is a good value, and it is the reason that I bought 2 of them... One for use, and another for a back-up, in case I have a shorted battery... Keep-up the good work!

The 95 amp isolator is an excellent unit. Used on my RAM 2500 diesel pickup for my pop-top camper, this unit is quite sufficient to keep both my dual truck batteries and dual camper batteries charged by my 160 amp OEM alternator. Quality gear; Highly recommended! Mike Lt. Col. USMC (Retired)

Pretty easy to install, works well.

This is a game changer. Charging 2 100 Ah batteries in 4 hrs or less of driving is really nice. For my style of travelling, I don't need anything else to keep my batteries charged.

Review for customer service only, have not used the chargers yet. Stay tuned. Website had some minor glitches on the "Payment" link, but contacted the Customer Service # and purchase was completed in quick, friendly manner. Will continue to use etrailer.com for trailer / RV parts.

Amazing item, easy to install, and keeps the battery on my dump trailer topped off between use. I park in an area without power so helps ensure I don't have to charge the night before a use.

I own a dump trailer that came equipped with this very charger. So I was already familiar with it. I purchased this one and adapted it to an enclosed battery box that I built for my camper trailer. Now I can charge my batteries and still have the batteries locked away and out of the weather

I use this in my Jeep to keep my second battery for accessories charged and ready. After a year of having it installed I couldn’t be happier with the product. I have spoken with the folks out in Australia at Redarc and find them to be very awesome to speak too.

Wonderful instructions, plenty of wire, and a very good product. Will try and update this review in a year! Thanks for putting the pieces together. All solid quality, 60 amp fuses, and neatly trimmed heavy gauged wire.

This is a great product. I use it to run my fridge in my Jeep to keep the second battery charged.

The smart load disconnect has worked absolutely perfect over the last year....That means I have not noticed it working in the background as an important part of my charging system. It just does its job and keeps me worry free

I found this disconnect to be very finicky and would not buy it again. I trust Redarc but couldn't make mine work.

This is what GM recommended for my 2021 Chevy Colorado and it has worked just great. With the truck sitting sometimes two weeks I would have a problem with battery drain. Since purchasing the Noco Genius Smart Battery Charger from E Trailer, I have not had one issue with a low battery. Great Product! Donn't waste your money buying those cheap chargers.

I had a little trouble with the shipping. My package did not show up. I tracked it and it said delayed delivery. I then forgot about it. Then when I needed the product to use, I realized it never showed up. I called Etrailer and spoke with Lauren, she tracked it while I was on the phone. It showed not delivered. Lauren said she would contact the shipping company to ask about it. And if got good answers would reship my product. And said she was sorry for the shippers delay. Well I got the new product the next day. Etrailer really cared and took care of the issue quick. Thank you Lauren! Great customer service!

Exactly like the description it is easy to use and I'm happy I bought it. I used it on three marine deep cycle 12-volt batterers to charge them and the maintain them for winter so I can reinstall in RV in the spring.

While it was a challenge to put it in our motorhome, once installed, it works perfectly. It appeared almost identical to the original one I removed on our 1996 Road Trek.

Great charger for smaller batteries.

Both the charger and battery it's attached to are doing GREAT. You can't fail with a NOCO charger. We use them exclusively for our High Value Projects and Systems.

Installed it with ease was going to use full time on the RV, called the company and said I should have bought a different one for permanent placement after being told it could. Works great just disconnect before moving the rig.

I received my noco 4 bank charger very quickly and is an amazing charger for my boat, etrailer had the best price around and they were very helpful in this purchase, only bad thing is I didn’t get the serial number to register the warranty before I mounted, thx etrailer.
