This is an excellent replacement for the jack on my Legend 16' V-nose with aluminum frame, it was easy to install, mounting flange matched perfectly. This style trailer sits very low and has always been a headache going in and out of gas stations, ect. The original style Jack foot hits "sometimes very hard," even when the jack is cranked all the way up. Now I rotate the top pin, remove the bottom foot pin and remove the complete Jack and store it in the back of the truck, takes 30 seconds.

Mine arrived with a drill bit end broken into the release handle. In fact, the drill bit was what was holding it together. I don't know what a production unit has in that through hole (a roll pin?). Regardless, it isn't something you want to find in a new jack. After I punched it out, I added a snap ring pin to hold it in place. One other comment would be that the foot needs to be unbolted in order to remove the jack. Ideally a locking pin would have been better than the bolt for a "no-tools-needed" removal.

I purchased this JA-5000S-B Sidewind jack for my 20' Car Hauler because I added a Harbor Freight toolbox that was taller than my top wind jack. This one is somewhat taller than the one replaced and moves the wind handle toward the truck. In my case the tailgate still drops and clears the handle by 10" or so. The jack is a little slower than the last one but has a higher weight rating (5000 lbs) etrailer always helps with the selection and has been a great resource.

Existing job site trailer jack broke Thursday. Menards, Home Depot, Northern tool, Mill didn't have the needed style in stock. Ordered it up and got here on Saturday. Perfect fit and higher weight rating than previous jack. Cranks smooth.

After the gears on my original/stock A-frame sidewind jack had stripped and failed (BAL 2000 mounted on my 2017 Forest River Rockwood mini-lite model 2306 with a dry weight of 4005 lbs), I replaced it with another BAL 2000 sidewind model which lasted less than 6 months before the gears also had stripped and failed. After reviewing numerous A-frame jack sidewind models, I decided to purchase the Bulldog A-frame sidewind model with a rating of 5000 lbs and a 15" lift. I also purchased the corresponding foot pad to help with the distribution of weight. The installation was straightforward and simple and so far, I have not experienced any functional issues with the jack. For anyone searching for and in need of a high quality and capable A-frame sidewind trailer jack, I would highly recommend this particular model.

I needed a swing jack for my 25' boat trailer, to move it around without hitching to my truck. As you can see, by the pictures, I bolted on a 10" lawn / garden swivel caster to the foot of your jack. This way I can drop the jack down and raise the original jack up (which has a too small wheel that sinks into my soft yard). In this way I use my lawn tractor to move the boat around my yard. Hitched to my truck and the rig is to long to maneuver.

This jack is perfect. It fits my trailer well, seems well built, and was easy to install. Some of the other jacks I looked at locally seemed like they were mounted loosely and would rattle around. This one is tight against the trailer and doesn't rattle while driving.

Exactly what I needed for my boat trailer. When retracted it clears the road. The flip up hitch that was on it could not handle the salt water dips and seized up after a year. This is a lifetime jack.

Jack works great. Damaged the original when I forgot to lift the foot and hit my concrete parking apron. After I straighten out the mount this jack fit the hole perfectly and works great.

Instillation was very easy and it works amazingly. My trailer had a electric jack before and I was always having to maintain a battery, now I don't he to mess with that and it lifts super easy. I highly recommend this jack for enclosed trailers or heavy tongue weighted trailers.

Easy install to provide greatly improved unhitched trailer handling. This item was the final component to complete a refurbished trailer for my catamaran. My project started with a 1987 Calkins single-axle used trailer, adding the following E Trailer parts: 1. Miro-Flex Trailer Stop/Turn/Tail Light unit 2. CE Smith V-Wing Bolster Brackets 3. Worked Great the first year. My battery died so I used the manual override feature the key broke < 2yrs old. Having trouble getting a replacement Pin and Bolt Adapter.

The perfect jack for low clearance trailers! I had trouble finding a jack for my bumper pull horse trailer that wouldn't drag the ground pulling into gas stations, parking lots, etc. I looked at all the farm and home stores in my area with no luck. I thought maybe it didn't exist...then I found etrailer. The short extension below the mount on this jack was exactly what I needed! When fully retracted, it extends no lower than the hitch. I gained five inches from the previous jack. Great peace of mind when traveling and much less worry about dragging when I need all the clearance I can get! Nice addition to my trailer. I spent a lot of time looking for a jack with a short "hang down " distance from the frame to the ground. This one is perfect. The trailer rides low and will bottom out without a short "hang down".

After a year it has become hard to turn, tried to lubricate it but still hard after any weight is placed on it. Requires two hands and an excessive amount of force. Would not recommend for long term reliability

The jack fit perfectly on my 5x10 trailer and the operation of the jack is super smooth. I also bought the optional wheel and foot for it. The wheel makes it easy to move around our place doing light yard work without having to hook it to the truck. The lawn tractor can easily pull it via the safety chains.

Easy to install and use I can get my Tritoon trailer on & off with ease one handed!! My old jack was not even a year old and took two hands to crank it!! Has grease zero fitting to lubricate it !! I installed this on a construction tool cargo trailer. This trailer is outfitted with solar and a battery bank so an electric jack was a no brainer since I already had plenty of power storage. I didn't want to install in the stock jack location so that I could fully open my truck's tailgate. I was able to find a bolt-on jack bracket from a different online store, which made for a easy installation without welding. The same electrician that installed the solar and batteries wired the jack into the elec system and he said it was slick. The trailer has several thousand pounds of tongue weight and this jack has no problem lifting it. The memory settings are handy. This saves quite a bit of time connecting and disconnecting. With the push of a button the trailer jack lifts or lowers automatically while I deal with the safety chains, break away cable, and 7 prong plug. Just as advertised it lifts very quickly even under load. It was installed about a year ago and it's still going strong. I give this a 5 star rating without hesitation. Strong, durable, and well made.

I have had 6 trips with the Phoenix 4000 and it worked great for first 4 . Hooking up for 5th trip I pressed button to raise . Button lite up for a second then turned off. Trailer did not raise . I turned power off then back on hoping to reboot and it worked. It failed again at camp . I used ratchet to operate. When I got home I found 30 amp fuse blown inside of camper . I replaced fuse . I also believe inline fuse provided was loose at spring so I replaced with30 amp blade style fuse . It has worked perfectly now and hoping it will continue.
