Bulldog 2-Speed Tandem Landing Gear Set - Weld On - 17" Lift - 45,000 lbs
I purchased this landing gear a while back for my 25' gooseneck trailer that I haul heavy equipment with. The trailer originally had only a single 10,000lb single speed drop leg jack and was not a very stable setup. The old jack just wasnt cutting it and I needed a more heavy duty set up that I could depend on. I mounted this landing gear and it was one of the best improvements I have made to the trailer. Instead of the old single setup mounted between the neck beams that was very hard to crank under load, the tandem set now provides stable load support across the front and is very easy to crank in low range under load. One feature I liked about this landing gear was they dont have drop legs. The sand shoes are a fixed mount with large pins and wide shoes. Same as those on semi trailers. The lack of a drop leg is no problem as I keep a couple of 6"x6" blocks in the trailer and slide them under the shoes before I jack the trailer up. The blocks give added lift to the jacks and also keep the shoes out of the dirt. These jacks are geared a little higher in high range than smaller jacks so in the time it would take to pull a drop leg and crank down I can have the blocks set up and jacks cranked down. Once the load is felt just switch to low and cranking is effortless. Keep the shoes and legs clean/maintained and they will never rot/fai/bend like the drop legs on smaller capacity jacks. Last thing is I would recommend is to remove the two speed gearbox cover and pack it full of grease before the first use. Two speed boxes come from the factory with very little grease. Intial packing will help prevent excessive break in wear. There are grease fittings on both jacks which can be topped off a couple times a year there after. I wanted a very heavy duty landing gear set that would out last the trailer and one that was rated for more than the trailer will hold. This set has exceeded my expectations.

Brophy Cable Camper Jacks - 67" Max Lift Height - 3,000 lbs - Qty 2
Great directions for manual assembly, quality metal and parts. Solid and exactly the heavy duty I was looking for to use with my slide in truck camper.
The Brophy jacks were strong, stable, easy to position, and easy to lift and lower my camper. it is a much better method than having four jacks to maneuver. And it cut down my time to 30 minutes total to load my camper instead of an hour and a half! I have to start from my garage and winch my camper down on a cart to the street face because of the incline driveway is so dramatic and my camper won’t fit in my garage if it is attached to the truck. I couldn’t be more happy they were great and now I have my truck loaded with my very modern camper and I’m enjoying quite the holiday! I’m using the 3 ton 67 inch trophy jacks and I’m lifting an 800 pound gross camper. The stability is outstanding.
