Looks well-built easy install had a tough time with the bumper supports my trailer had welded brackets in the way but made it work. Overall, would highly recommend this product. Great customer service had some missing parts Lauren sent them to me very quickly. Thank you, Lauren!!!

The 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for RV Bumper-Steel- Folding - 500 lbs Item the carrier is now over 1 year old and a great addition to our travel trailer. I did install a pair of bumper supports as it is only attached to the bumper, which is only welded to the trailer frame, if the weld breaks you can lose it while driving down the road. The other thing I did was add a pair of trailer directional lights on the cargo carrier. First it does extend out 2 feet from the back of the trailer and if you put something tall in the carrier it can cover one of the directional/brakes lights on the back of the trailer. Those two additions definitely give you peace of mind in not causing a roadway accident.

This product was heavier built than I expected. I am very happy with my purchase and expect it to last a long time. Assembly was extremely easy.

If I had an issue it would only be the weight of it on my bumper. Otherwise it is well built and as long as my bumper holds with the support brackets that came with it I'll be very happy.

Cargo Carrier works great. I have been over 7000 miles with it carrying coolers and a generator haven't had any problems at all. It frees up alot of space in the truck bed. I like that it folds up when not in use.

I think the Carrier is well built and well-designed. with the I-frame on my trailer, the braces are not as effective. I am going to have a machinist make it stronger. I am mounting the spare tire on the underside of the carrier. It will work well.

This is a great rack. I bought it for our 3500 watt generator, but bought the larger rack so we can store more items along side it. Well built product. There was a small issue with incorrect bolts for the extra bumper supports included, and Amy at etrailer took care of it promptly! Will buy from etrailer again.

I honestly expected a higher level of product quality and level of quality control for almost 400 bucks.  As you can see in the pictures the extension piece I was shipped came in a matte black finish as opposed to the gloss black finish of the main primary pieces.  Not only that it seemed as if the two were made by completely different manufacturers with the matte black piece severely lacking in quality and having fitment issues.  One of the holes that mount the basket to the support arm didn't line up so I had to drill it out.  A lot of extra hardware was included which weren't even duplicates of the existing hardware which just makes you nervous at the end when all these pieces are still in the box and the manual makes no reference to them.  Just overall pretty bizarre product and installation experience with this one.  I didn't find it worth the time or hassle to ship it back for a return/replacement because I am handy person and could make the necessary repairs/modifications in order to finish the installation.  I haven't got around to installing the bumper supper brackets but I am sure that will be interesting as well.

Item as described. Good heavy grade power coated metal frame. Strong boxes. 6 flanges to attach the unit to the frame. More storage than anticipated. Drawers are easy to lock in place so they don’t slide in or out. As others have said, the lids have a hole so you can open them. There is no gasket around the top. So between those two items and the fact that the lid can bounce around when driving, if it’s raining, you can easily see how water would get in the boxes. No way to lock the lids closed so no one slides the drawers out and opens the lids to take your things. Would have been nice to have a small sheet included with bolt size suggestions without having to hunt for the info. So know the downfalls of the unit, but we are still very happy with our purchase. There is nothing that we can’t resolve on our own. So happy with the space, even thinking about maybe adding a second unit.

We installed this on our toy hauler, we keep straps and stuff from the garage in the box, and beer. Our only complaint was it is not water or dust tight. But we keep our stuff in totes, inside the storage area. Check the width of the frame you are attaching to, the brackets may have to be cut off and welded. Also watch backing in somewhere, if you back in a low area, like a ditch, the bottom of the box may rub.

The carrier is robust and built to carry the generator load I have placed on it. Several tie down amd locking options and easy to install. Its also easy to remove if needed for filling my propane tanks. I have traveled to tahoe and other places and the mount is rock solid. The finish is clean and i would say resistant to chipping. Theres nothing i dont like about the choice.

This is our 2 nd Stromberg purchase from e trailer. I would not own a tow behind camper with out one! I’d give 10 stars if available
