The addition of this awning has been awesome. The install was easy and the operation has been great. We put it on an Old Church bus we turned into the Hogwarts Express. Take it camping, NASCAR Races and watching Meteor showers.

Everyone I talked to was easy to understand and extremely pleasant, which is unusual these days, sadly. Even though the item was damaged in shipping, and no fault of etrailer, they made everything right in a very timely manner, I couldn’t have asked for better customer service. So far, this awning is going on the trailer fine. Everything shipped and I am installing it this week. Working through the wiring and got everything working including the switches that are in the trailer already. The SmartArm controller is awesome. I am glad I opted for the wind sensor also, we almost lost an awning a couple of years ago when a storm blew in as we were coming back to the campground. I was holding on to the awning and the wind picked me up like I was in a parachute. We thankfully got it rolled in before any damage was done, but many campers lost their awnings that day. I'll update once I get everything installed and working.

Love the way water pours off when it rains without having to do anything but make sure you are not in the dump zone. A little disappointed that extension and retraction are not a little quicker. Have tried all settings but so far the auto wind retraction has not worked. Maybe I'm not letting the awning flop enough but I think when the awning is popping and the camper is rocking it's time to roll it in. All that said it sure beats my old manual awning.

I have been dealing with Madison from ETrailer. She was great and helping me out with my situation. She even gave me her direct number and I will deal with her from now on.

The replacement awning fit almost exactly. We needed to drill a few holes in the camper to accommodate the new(?) bolt pattern. Unfortunately our camper was not wired for the smart arm type awning (even though it was a 2021 model), so I’m waiting to rewire the RV control panel to provide a constant hot wire to the awning so the smart arm feature will be functional.
