This Solera slide out awning is well made and a good design making for a fairly simple and straightforward installation. Pretty much can install the unit with one person up to the point of slide the awning into the awning rail. The one issue I had, hence took one star away, was not enough awning rail screws were sent, I was short 11 screws, only sent 20. The instruction said to put a screw in very hole of the awning rail to camper attachment. So I drilled all the holes for that connection and then was short 11 screws to fill all the holes.

Quite possibly the oddest shape package I have ever ordered, but Lippert (Solera), etrailer and the shipper all nailed it and the slide topper arrived unscathed and with all its parts. Regrettably, I was not as lucky when I attempted this order previously through Amazon...the delivery and return process was a disaster. Should have patronized etrailer from the beginning! Happy I figured it out the second time. My camper came prepped for the slide topper from the factory so the installation should be a breeze. Lastly, Aiden's DIY install video on YouTube on a 2022 Forest River is beyond spot on. I would like to request Aiden perform all DIY videos, posted anywhere, about any topic humans can conceive, from now until the end of time as we know it.

We purchased 4 new awnings for our unit. 3 for slides and 1 for the shade over the entry. We followed the measurement instructions and when we received them 1 unit was too long because it interferred with the awning arms of the shade for the door. I reached out so that we could get a shorter one and the freight was over half the cost of the new awning. We were disappointed with the service at that time. Now a year later another awning has proven to be too long and the bars seem to extend the end caps so far away from the slide that they bend inwards. While we were camping I had to cut away the awning to prevent any additional damage to our slide. So in looking back, I do not feel they have the expertise to accurately sell this product.

etrailer has been my go to for parts and equipment for my travel trailer for a few years now. Can't beat the service, quality of products, and price. I recehtly purchased a slide topper. price was far below it would have costed me from a travel club I belong to. ordered on sunday and received it on Friday, only 4 days. the 10' topper came in an oversized heavy cardboard tube. good thing because the tube had some damage, but the parts iside were in good shape. It was smart for them to have packed it that way. TForce made the delivery. the driver insisted on helping me open the pacakage to make sure everything was in good shape befor he left. I call that top nothch service from purchase to delivery.
