So you have a smaller sedan, but that should not stop you from having big adventures. So when you wanna take your bikes out from one place to another, you wanna bring them to their trail, what you need is a bike rack kinda like this one. This is the Kuat Sherpa, which is nice, compact, portable, and still has premium features that you would expect from a Kuat bike rack. So one of the features we'll look at is the tilt away feature.

Now, this is a really good bike rack. If you are looking for something that is super light and pretty affordable but also allows you to carry around two bikes for your adventures. Now, one of its features is that it can hold your bike in by this frame mount. So we have it mounted by two wheel straps as well as a frame mount, which can adjust.



Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test fitting the Inno Aero Light four bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. It's going to be part number INH640. As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features.Now starting from the outside and working our way in, we have this integrated cable lock system that stretched out from the base of our bike rack, wraps over our bikes, and simply inserts into this little notch right there. Now when you want to unlock the cable, you will get a set of keys for that and you simply lift up this little tab, you insert your key, right in there, and that unlocks the cable and then making it easier to unload your bikes.When we come to our cradles, we see they pivot back and forth or side to side rather and they move up and down on the bike rack. That's going to help out with any size bike frame you might have or any spacing you might want between your bikes. These cradles also have a nice rubber coated surface that's going to help protect your bike from any abrasions or scratches when you're loading and unloading and during travel.If we come in closer we see that our bikes connected at three different points of contact.



Inno Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Fusion, we're gonna be testing the Inno Aero Light 2 Bike Rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. That's gonna be part number INH620. As you can see, we already have a bike installed so let's go ahead and take a look at some of the features.Now starting from the outside and working our way in, we have this integrated cable locking system where the cable comes out from the base of the bike rack, comes around our bikes, and it's simply gonna lock into place right here in this little notch. When you wanna unlock the cable, you will have received a set of keys with your bike rack, you simply slide up this little tab and you have the insert for your key right there to unlock it and unload your bikes.We come over to look at the cradles. As you can see we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features. Like most platform style racks this bike rack can tilt away from the vehicle in order to provide rear hatch access.To start I'm going to pull up my other wheel hook, grab a hold of my two wheel hooks, there's a foot pedal down here, we're going to press down, now that's going to let our bike rack tilt away like so. Now I can slide right in and access anything I might need in my rear hatch. To tilt it back we're simply going to grab a hold of our two hooks and push back until it latches like so.To come and see how our bike is secured, it's secured at two different points of contact.



RockyMounts Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Fusion we're going to be test fitting the RockyMounts MonoRail Solo one bike platform rack for 1 1/4" and 2" hitches. That's going to be part number RKY10007.As you can see, we already have a bike installed, so let's take a look at some of the features. To start, this bike rack does come with a cable locking system. You simply just lock the cable around the bike and then back through the cable, itself, and it attaches at this point right here. Your bike rack does come with a set of keys, so you can unlock the cable and thus unload your bike.This bike rack can carry a wide variety of bikes, ranging from this road bike we have right here to even fat tire bikes, being up to 5" in length. As you can see from the cradles they are wide enough to hold them.



Yakima RidgeBack Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2017 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Ridgeback two bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. That's going to be part number Y02457. Now, as you can see we already have a bike installed. So let's take a look at some of the features. As you can see on the outside of both of these polls, we have the Yakima bottle openers. If we look over here, we see that the cradles are stationary, but each cradle does have a zip strip installed with it.



Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2016 Ford Fusion we're doing a test fit of the Swagman XT2 platform-style 2-bike rack. That part number is S64650. Now we already have our bike secured down. We're first going to show you how we do that. Here in the center we have our frame hook, which is really going to hold our bike down into our wheel cradles. It's going to keep it very stable and give you a smooth ride with your bike.

Today on our 2016 Ford Fusion we'll be doing a test fit on the Kuat Transfer Three Bike Rack. That's part number TS03G. Now, it's also available as a two bike rack and that's part number TS02G. I've already got it loaded up on the Fusion just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to secure our bikes. It actually secures our bikes in two spots. We have this large front wheel hook putting down pressure on our front wheel into the front wheel cradle. Then we have a rear wheel strap going between our spokes, and then keeping our rear wheel in place.

Today in our 2016 Ford Fusion, we will be doing a test fit of the Thule Vertex 4 bike rack. That's part number TH9029XT. I've already got it loaded up on the Fusion just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to secure our bikes. As you can see, it's a hanging-style bike rack. It secures our bike in three spots. We have two straps for our top tube and the one strap for our down tube.

It's going to secure our bikes in 3 spots. We have 2 straps for our top tube, and then for our seat post tube, we have an anti-sway strap.

Today on our 2016 Ford Fusion, we'll be doing a test fit on the Swagman Trailhead 4 Bike Rack. That's part number S63380. I've already got it loaded up on the Fusion just to give you a good idea of what it looks like and how it's going to secure our bikes. As you can see, it's a hanging style bike rack. It's going to secure our bikes with four straps. You have three straps for our top two up here, and our seat posts, too, we've got one strap here. This is going to be our anti-sway strap.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This is going to be your track-mounted, rooftop-mounted bike rack. As you can see, we have our AeroBlades up here. We're going to be placing this inside of here and showing you how it looks and fits today. First step we're going to do is to remove the end caps from the AeroBlades. Then for this application because if you do decide to get this rack, you will need to trim out the rubber here.



Saris Axis Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Saris Axis. This is going to be your hanging style 2-bike rack, part number SA832. This bike rack does come with 1-1/4" shank for your class I and II hitches as well as a 2" adapter. We're going to go ahead and see how it looks and fits on our Fusion that we have here today. The first thing you're going to do is insert the shank into the receiver and line up the pin holes. Once you have the pin holes lined up, insert your anti-rattle bolt and thread it in as far as you can by hand. This anti-rattle bolt is going to help to eliminate a lot of the play, rattle, and wobble that you may have in your bike rack as you can see there.



Saris Bike Porter Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Saris Bike Porter. This is going to be your hanging style 4 bike rack. It comes with an 1 1/4 shank for your class 1 and 2 hitches as well as an adapter for your class 3 hitches. It's going to be part number SA404B and we're going to go ahead and get it fitted onto our vehicle that we have here today. First insert your shank into your receiver and line up your pin holes. Once you have your pin holes lined up, take your anti rattle bolt, place it in and thread it in as far as you can by hand.



Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to do a test fit of the Saris Freedom Super SuperClamp. This will be your platform style two-bike rack. Part number SA4025. Comes with 1-1/4" shank for the class 1 or 2 hitches, as well as a 2-inch adapter for your class 3 hitches. We're going to show you how it looks and fits on our vehicle that we have here today. First step is going to be to insert your shank into the receiver and line up your pinholes. From there, we'll take off the lock on the end of the anti-rattle bolt, and thread it in.

You can see that we already have our bike up here fork-mounted to this rack on top of our aftermarket bars. This will fit most all of your aftermarket crossbar systems, whether that be your aero type, your elliptical type, your factory square bars, or your round bars. Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This will be your rooftop mounted bike rack for a single bike and it's going to mount via the T track system. As you can see here, you'll have your T track mounts and we'll show you how those all go in place. We do have our arrow blades on here but it will work with most all of your racks that have T track systems. In order to expose our T tracks, we'll need to remove the ends off of our crossbars, just like so and we'll set those off to the side. You can either do this two ways, you can cut and make a custom fit spot for that to fit so you can trim your rubber piece on the inside here or you can remove the whole thing while you have your rack on and then placing your rubber protective strip back in after you're done. Whichever you decide to do, whatever is going to fit your lifestyle the best.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This will be your rooftop mounted bike rack for the fork of your bike and a single bike, part number TH528. As you can see, it's going to be a clamp-on design that's going to go around your crossbar system, whatever crossbar system they may be, whether that be an aero tight bar like we have on here today, or if you have your factory crossbars, elliptical bars, round bars, or square bars. This will work with all of those. Let's go ahead and start off by showing you how the bike mounts up. On the front, it's going to mount with your fork, and on the back you're going to have a safety strap around that rear wheel. To disengage the safety strap, we're going to press that gray button in, press the strap out until we can grab a hold of it, removing it from around the wheel.

Today, on this 2013 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test-fitting the Thule Roadway 2 Bike Rack, part number TH912XTR. As you can see, we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look, and show off some of those features. Now the bike actually attaches to the rack. You're going to have three points of contact with your bike's frame. You're going to have two straps up top, here, as well as one strap off to the side, here.

Today in this 2013 Ford Fusion we are going to be testing the Thule Vortex 4 bike rack. Part number TH9029XT. As you can see we already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look at that and show off some of the features. As you can see, the bike is actually held to the rack using 3 points of contact with the bike's frame. We have 2 straps up top here, as well as one up to the side here, which is going to act kind of like an anti-sway strap, keep it from going back and forth too much to hit either the bike rack, or the bikes in front of it.
