Best Ford F-350 Super Duty Trailer Safety Chains

I bought a complete flat tow parts fir a jeep wrangler. I decided I could install myself. Your installation videos made it nearly a piece of cake. From a quote I got from a RV service business, I saved several thousand dollars installing myself. etrailer is the place to for your RV needs!

Look good and work well with the Goosebox hitch.

Received my Goosebox yesterday installed today, it went well with online installation video. The instructions in the box were basic and didn't include connecting the Goosebox to the truck with how to pressurize the air, which would have been helpful. The packaging job wasn't very good, box was loosely packaged allowing hitch to move around inside the box. Luckily there was no damage. All and all, it went well, just would have been better with more details on operating the Goosebox hitch itself

So far so good! Haven't towed with it yet

The trailer hitch that I bought from etrailer for my CRV are fine, good quality and I had no problem installing it. The major problem is now that the hitch is mounted there is very little room between the end of the mounting bolt/nut for the hitch and the top of the muffler. The exhaust system is rubber mounted and normally vibrates away on those rubber mounts. With less clearance it now vibrates against the mounting bolt for the trailer hitch and rattles like a machine gun on acceleration etc, and every bump in the road. This is not good, I need a fix.

If you get the factory pucks for the gooseneck chains in your RAM truck, you'll find the clevis hooks on your trailer's factory chains might not be big enough for the wide "loops" on the pucks. The Fulton Safety Chain with 1/2" clevis hook absolutely fits the pucks. You're gonna love the heft in those chains too.l I'm thoroughly satisfied with my purchase.

These chains fit my needs perfect for our Forest River Surveyor.

The safety chains were a perfect fit for my 12’ utility trailer, in addition to the new eTrailer side crank jack. I really like the installed “S” hook with the safety spring clip. The chain is appropriate weight for a smaller trailer and confident of their ability should the need arise.

Nice chain but over $100 is ridiculous. And it should have been included with the $1500 Gen Y Gooseboc I just bought from Etrailer.

Shipping on this item was quick and packaged extremely well. The GenY hitch exceeded our expectations. We just completed a 600 mile trip. In the first 100 miles we noticed some stiffness, but after that it loosened up and on the return home we definitely noticed a difference. The hitch is very easy to hook up and as long as you are within a few inches the hitch will center itself and slide onto the ball. We towed with an F350 6 3/4 foot bed and I do not see any need for the 4 inch extension ball setup. A subcompact tractor makes 1 person install of the hitch a complete breeze. The angle is perfect. I ordered the GenY chains and mounting bolts and all worked very well.

The jack is decent. My only complaint would be that the wheel I purchased to go on to the jack does not pivot or turn when I push the trailer around. I have to constantly kick the wheel in order to guide the trailer into position.

It fit my little canoe trailer perfectly with enough slack for turns. A 3/8” bolt through the center link was just the ticket.
