Best Ford F-350 Super Duty Pintle Hitches

The ball/pintle mounting plate worked very well. I was surprised that it stuck out past the bumper so far on my 2008 Silverado 2500HD, but it was only about 4-5 inchest past where my ball usually sits with other hitches. I suppose it will work well as strong as it is to take care of anyone who choses to park to close to me in parking lots! :-)

This mounting plate is very heavy duty, and a tight fit on a 2.5" receiver - no rattling. it is made for 5/8" bolts, not the 1/2" bolts the average 6 ton pintle hitch uses, some washers may be needed for smaller pintle hitches.

This thing is heavy duty!

Working great I use the fixed straight hitch when I need a little more hitch height or the adjustable hitch depending on which application works better.

No problems with this product after a year of use. As part of the complete channel mount system, the lack of a 1 7/8” ball for the system is annoying.

I never write reviews, but this Convert-A-Ball hitch is absolutely AWESOME! What a hassle it used to be for me always switching between a pintle and 2" Ball. Heavy lifting. Figuring out where to leave the removed hitch, which I usually just left on the ground next to where I park my truck (even in winter). I generally swap out the hitch every day to go between different trailers and this has been a LIFESAVER as I get older. I almost bought one of the 'cool" brand hitches just to be 'cool', but I'm so HAPPY I happened across this hitch when looking to purchase. I tell everyone in my business about this hitch!

My father has one of these and I liked how simple it converted from a pintle to a ball hitch so I decided to purchase one for myself. I found the same hitch on etrailer.com. I ordered and received the hitch just before a hunting trip. The shipping was fast. The hitch arrived all in one piece and worked flawlessly.

It's solid and straightforward. Haven't had 30K# behind it (yet) but towed an empty 25K# GVWR equipment trailer from Indiana to Mississippi without any trouble at all.

The Curt 20K Pintle hook for my 2" receiver looks and functions wonderfully. Very good finish on the product.

I have only used this hitch a few times, having recently purchased it. I like to see reviews after a product has seen some use. Pintle hitches are a simple mechanism, this one seems to be beefy and well made. There is a little lip at the top of the hook you can see in the listing photo if you look and already know it's there, If things are tight this is enough to catch on the loop when you are trying to unhook. If you are jacking up an already heavy trailer, this is a 30K lb hook, and can't get free of the truck it can be frustrating.

Use this with a curt 16k combination ball/pintle hitch and am very satisfied so far. No drama purchase via Etrailer, and when the torque spec for the hitch — inexplicably — wasn’t included in the literature a call to their friendly team fixed this issue.

60k pintle hitch product is as described and expected - seems very 'beefy' and works as is should. Separately, I was very pleasantly surprised when Etrailers emailed me the day after my order was placed. They wanted to let me know that they were able to get my purchase shipped the same day it was ordered AND that they 'decided' to upgrade the standard shipping that I selected and paid for up to an enhanced priority 3-5 day shipping. I thought that customer service was pretty much gone in this country until I ordered from E-trailer. I've never ordered from them before but certainly will again when I need trailer supplies. The product shipped out on a Sunday which was the first thing that surprised me. Then I received an email with someone's name, phone number, and email in case I had any questions. The day it arrived I received an email from the same person telling me that the package had arrived. To top it all off the products were properly boxed so that even UPS couldn't destroy my two hitch parts! Very impressed!!! Keep up the great work etrailer.

Super solid

I needed a new pintle to haul my tractor. This one is perfect and heavy duty.

Great product and the price can’t be beat. Solid steel shank, 1/2” steel mounting surface, and a 1/2” steel brace that runs the entire length of the mounting plate for extra rigidity. This thing is solid.

Looking for a heavy duty mount for a pintle hook--this seems to be one of the highest rated mounts I could find. Need to add a rear tow hitch to our Rose Parade float chassis due to new parade rules. Easy to install, but did not come with a pin--need to purchase one separately.

For hitches that require 9/16” bolts you should have them supply them since there not easily available like 1/2” or 5/8” bolts

The hitch is made from heavy duty steel. And is a excellent match with the owl equipment trailer for hauling out tractor That has weight of 8000 pounds.

Poduct works as intended and is of good quality, it took a month to get it from etrailer but they handled it well and were in personal contact with me. The only complaint I have about the product is that the shank the inserts into the receiver hitch is excessively loose and has alot of movement, I added some beads of weled and then ground them down a little for I tighter fit. HoweverI would still buy the product again Because it is by far the most convenient hitch I have ever owned.

Haven't tested it yet, but it looks beefy. It's also very heavy. I like it, but it's not perfect. The tether for the locking pin is too short to use all the positions, so you may have to cut the tether depending on how you need to set it up. It's rated for 14,000# GTW, but I could not find the tongue rating anywhere online and I didn't know it until I got the box. 1,400#, which is pretty typical, 10%.
