Best Fleetwood Tioga Motorhome RV Ladders

I needed a padded ladder to access upper bunk to a metal bunk bed in a bedroom. This ladder matches the metal and solved the discomfort of climbing on the metal rungs attached to the bunk bed. This ladder has flat rungs to which I added automobile seat belt pads for comfort when climbing into bed with your bare feet. Excellent solution for the discomfort of stepping on narrow-metal-round rungs. Perfection would be if the ladder were about 3 inches longer.

We just purchased our 2nd RV (Passport 2650bh) and the top bunk was a bit of a challenge for my boys, 5 & 4 coming in at about 54" high at the ledge of the top bed. This ladder is perfect but first let me talk about etrailer. They are awesome to work with. They offer Paypal, which I love, communication was great and shipping was speedy. If the need arise, I will be doing business with them again. Now back to the ladder... The ladder is very sturdy and cut to size easily. On the handy scale of 1-10, (1 being - what's a tool? and 10 being I can build a house) I'm a couple notches above a high heel shoe is a hammer and a butter knife is a screw driver but I'm not afraid of a little power. So, once I received it (in three days BTW) I pulled out my cute Dremel and took off ~about 7 inches. Since the ladder has rubber feet, exactness and smoothness of the cut is not a major issue because the feet will hide all that but you don't want your cut to be too off or one leg will be longer than the other... Measure twice, cut once. It came with all parts but we are using the hooks that slip over the ledge not the permanent hooks. The black finish goes well with the decor and doesn't look like an eye sore at all. It actually looks like it came with the unit. I am far from 300#s, which is what it say it will support (I'm 138#s) so I figured if it could hold me, my kids would be fine. It does well under foot, no shifting during the climb or anything like that. My boys couldn't wait to give it a shot. After watching them try to climb to the top bunk before the ladder and now watching them after the ladder I noticed a decrease in my blood pressure elevation so I would like to add this ladder lowers blood pressure but please consult with your doctor before stopping any medications. Kid tested, mother approved... We love it and so will you so go ahead and add it to your shopping cart already!

I have purchased many products from Etrailer and this one was the worst experience. The ladder arrived looking used and had pets missing. I’m sure the box didn’t help as it was completely destroyed. It is unusable since the bolts holding the tabs are missing. I can’t speak much about the ladder itself because it is unusable.

When i did i lift on my Teryx i couldn't fit it into my toy hauler, so i ended up fixing the bed by narrowing it. The ladder that i had was too short luckily i found this on etrailer which ended up being perfect.
