Best Fleetwood Southwind Motorhome Trailer Lights

I needed a replacement for a utility trailer. Other aftermarket lights would require drilling & tapping. This unit actually has a ground wire rather than grounding through the unit body.

I recently decided to relocate the license plate on my new 5 X 10 aluminum trailer. It came from the factory with the plate located under the bed of the trailer where lifting the trailer caused damage to the plate and was difficult to see. I purchased the license plate light and began the process of relocation. The light now provides and excellent illumination for the relocated plate, was easy to install, and was very economical to purchase. Attached pictures reflect the finished product installed on my trailer.

I ordered what was supposed to be an exact match for my red marker light per the description on this web sight. They came in a cardboard box with no packaging and were lightly damaged when they arrived, and they were the wrong ones. I called and was told the mistake was theirs on their web site. I HAD TO PAY FOR ANOTHER SET OF CORRECT LENSES AMD WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD BE REFUNDED FOR THE INCORRECT ONES IF I PAID TO SHIP THEM BACK. The cost of shipping was $[XX] more than I paid for the original lenses, so I ended up throwing them into my recycle bin as the were already damaged during shipping. The next $[XX] I spent on my camper rehab was not from here. I even saved my email communications because nobody that touts good customer service wold acknowledge that they would do this to their customer.

I bought 3 lights (1) spare. I lost the brake light function on one about 9 months after installation. Lights are very bright and durable. Only negative, wires weren't labeled for function/usage.

Two of these lights were mounted on a rear hitch bike rack since the truck tail lights can't be seen with the bikes on the rack. I am extremely happy with the quality and brightness of the lights. Shipping was great and items were packed with care.

We broke a reflector on our boat trailer, bummer. My husband picked out the reflector he wanted and I ordered it. Simple and easy ordering system. I do recommend etrailer.

This is a good quality light, water tight and worked well. It has been on the trailer for over a year now and still has no issues. The lens can interchange on other similar bases, but if the base is old and damaged like mine was, this is a great replacement.

I bought this to replace a broken original marker light on our 1995 motorhome. Pros - LED, sleeker look than original, easy to wire if you are familiar with wiring lights for vehicles/trailers, priced better than incandescent. Cons - The screw holes are closer together than my original fixture but I drilled a new pilot hole for the second screw and it was fine, the light sticks out further than the original, and I don’t like squatting or kneeling in order to fix things, anymore (but that’s just a reflection on me and not the light).

These were really easy to install. I found that I needed more markers on the side of our 5th wheel trailer (44') I actually posted a few videos of people turning into our lane thinking they had passed the trailer. Connected to the rear and front marker lights and I have had no problems since.

We are really happy with this product and it fit our trailer perfectly. Plus, they were easy to install. All in all, it was a nice update to our 1960s Apache trailer.

I needed a tail/stop light for the rear of my Fairmont railway motorcar and thought from your on-line description that this product would be satisfactory. I was right, it is a good size and bright enough to be very visible in bright sunlight. As you can see from the pictures, to make it match aesthetically I attached the lamp to an aluminum plate cut to fit in an old auxiliary lamp housing. The railway car runs in both directions hence has head and tail lights on both ends. I am very satisfied with this light.
