Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder - Aluminum - 99-1/2" Tall - 250 lbs - Black
The ladder is a disappointment. This black ladder was supplied with all bright hardware, the hinges to join the sections are a VERY sloppy fit as is the top section that goes the roof. The stand offs and lower J section put the sharp ends of the tubing in direct contact with trailer skin. I fabricated aluminum plates to correct this deficiency and joined the sections with copper tubing inserted inside the ladder tubing 6 inches on each side of the joints. See these in the pictures provided. I am pleased with final result but the manufacturer should have done the extra work and engineering not me. I would only rate this product and overall experience as 2 stars.
Very happy with the ladder. Great value!

Surco RV Exterior Ladder - Aluminum - 97" Tall - 250 lbs
SP501L Ladder set Just on a year ago I bought a new to me motor home. At that time it did not have a ladder and enquirers revealed that there was a 6 mounts wait time with a price tag over $1000.. So I acquired 2 ladder kits and some attachments and behold the result for about $300.
We bought a ladder for our RV since it came without one, it was very easy to install and could not be more happier with it, Joey

Stromberg Carlson RV Exterior Ladder - Aluminum - 99-1/2" Tall - 250 lbs
Great ladder addition to my cargo trailer to reach the ladders on top. I had to add a piece of L steel between the "rafters" to anchor the top arches to. Strong - VERY STRONG!! No extra movement and I feel totally safe climbing up and down.
The Stromberg ladder is light, sturdy, and very useful. With the chrome finish, I can touch it and climb it barefoot even in the hot Florida summer. I cut off the bottom bends of the ladder rails and rested the ladder on the bumper in two marine grade handrail fittings.
