Flint Hill Goods Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Hi everyone. It's Evangeline here at Etrailer, and today we'll be taking a look at our Flint Hill Goods aluminum cargo carrier. This is going to be the medium sized carrier at 22 by 47 inches large, and we're gonna be taking a look at how it fits on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. The main things about this carrier is if you're just looking for something to expand your cargo space, maybe you're going hunting and you want to put this in here rather than in your truck bed, then this is gonna be a great option because then you're not lifting as high up. Plus, this makes it easier to store when not in use. A cool thing too with our 3500 is that we are able to lower our tailgate while still carrying our cargo carrier.

Reese 24x60 Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Hey everyone, it's Evangeline here at etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the Reese cargo carrier basket, which is 24 by 60 inches large, and we'll see how it fits on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. So major things about the Reese Cargo carrier with this truck is that if you have a two and a half inch hitch like what we have here, you are gonna need a separate hitch reducer in order to fit the two inch shank of our cargo carrier. And if you're looking for a cargo carrier where you can still lower your tailgates and have a platform that is easier to reach compared to your truck bed, then this might be a good option for you. So maybe you're going hunting, you need to load stuff onto the basket. We're gonna have a difference in height as well as clearance.

Darby Extend-A-Truck Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500

Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado 3500, we're going to be installing Darby's Extend A Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, part number DTA944.This truck bed extender's going to maximize your truck's loading capacity. It's going to allow you to carry extra long items, such as ladders, lumber, tubing, and whatever else you may need. With the tailgate down on your Silverado, it's going to give you an additional 35 inches of length coming off the back of your truck. And it is a four foot wide span across, so it'll be pretty much the same width of your truck bed. You'll find tie down points on each edge at the top, so you can secure your load, make sure it ain't going anywhere. And there's five different height adjustments to match the height of your truck bed when the tailgate's up or down.It is a 350 pound load capacity, is constructed of solid steel, and has a black powder coat finish to prevent any rust and corrosion. It works with two inch by two inch hitches. Now we do have a two and a half inch hitch here on our vehicle, but if your Silverado's got one of these as well, you can get a sleeve here at etrailer.com.Now, if you have a ladder rack on your vehicle, you can put it in an upright position to extend your ladder rack as well, or if you're heading to your destination and you haven't got it loaded up yet, and you want to minimize the length of your vehicle on the way there to load it up, you can take the pin out on the backside, slide the top half off, take the pin out in the hitch, slide it out, flip it to the upright position, reinstall it, reinstall your pin, and then install the top half at the desired height. And that completes our installation of Darby's Extend A Truck Hitch Mounted Load Extender, on our 2018 Chevrolet Silverado.
