With our bike dialed into the number seven as per Thule's fit guide, we'll begin our test fit by placing the bike rack directly onto the back of our Cruze. We will want to check and make sure that our bottom pad is resting directly on top of our rear bumper. We'll then take the top hooks and hook them into the leading edge of our trunk lid. We'll snug these down just a little bit to help us hold our rack in place, with the side hooks going to the side and the bottom hooks going to the bottom. With all six hooks in place we'll slowly tighten each strap to secure our rack to our vehicle. We'll then secure our excess strap.

This will allow us to adjust our bike rack properly. We can then secure it in place by pulling down on the black levers. We'll now place our top straps on the leading edge of our truck lid.

Today on our 2014 Chevrolet Cruze, we're going to be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja, a trunk-mount, 2-bike rack, part number HRB2. We'll then open the two black levers located on the outside of the rack and adjust our arm as necessary to fit our vehicle. Please keep in mind when we adjust this, we're going to want our cradle arms to be level or slightly angled up. We can now take the top straps and hook them to the leading edge of our trunk. The side straps will hook to the side of our trunk. The best place for these will be just above our tail lights. The bottom straps will hook underneath our trunk lid. You may need to open your trunk a little bit to give you the room to get the clips in. With all of our straps in place, we'll begin tightening them down one at a time until we have our bike rack secured to our vehicle.
