Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 10-3/4" Rise, 12" Drop - 7,000 lbs
Just what I needed to get the ball low enough for a small utility trailer towing with a 2015 Tahoe.
Product is just as described. Very sturdy, well made and painted. Price plus shipping was better than one similar on eBay. I highly recommend this item.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 6-3/4" Rise, 8" Drop - 10,000 lbs
I love this hitch! It took 100% of the annoying trailer bumping and tugging that you feel when pulling a trailer. I have a 2012 tahoe and pull a 1000 pound trailer frequently, after getting this hitch I sometimes forget im pulling a trailer.
I use this hitch when I pull my horse trailer to make the stop/start transitions as smooth as possible for the horses in the back. It works great. I also love that its a category IV hitch. Really heavy duty. My truck sits pretty high, and the amount of drop - 8" is perfect. I never worry about hitch failure travelling with my horses - they're a heavy load, and any failure would be a disaster. E Trailer provided excellent service, and their shipping to Canada was prompt and hassle free. Way to go guys, keep up the great work!

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 8-1/2" Long - 7.5K
Strong and seems to be well made and well finished. One-inch ball mounting hole. I used this for a Curt hitch mounted on a 2014 Forester and pulls a small Harbor Freight trailer. Perfect height and trailer is level. Warning - don't get their hitch pin, it does not have a hole for a cotter pin, only a weak clip that I would not trust.
I searched the internet to put a hitch on my 2016 Chevy Equinox and found an instructional video from eTrailer.com where they installed on my exact car. I decided to go with eTrailer.com because they answered all my questions and because of the video-I support businesses that go the extra mile with these videos. Shipping was quick and well tracked, however, the box was flimsy and the one end of the hitch had come out of the box side and the ball mount could have easily come out of that hole during shipping. If I were eTrailer.com I'd charge an extra couple of bucks for more sturdy boxes-people will still buy as eTrailer is a well-trusted brand and this would overcome a lot of the negative reviews you'll see on their site about this shipping issue in their own reviews :-) I installed the hitch by myself (definitely recommend help as two people holding it up to the frame makes attaching 100% easier) in about 45 minutes total (out of the box, read instructions, review video again and installation complete). All hardware went on with no issues. Great quality hitch! I also bought the lesser expensive wiring assembly because most recent equinox's come hitch ready with pre-wired assembly in the left side compartment-snap and done. Picked up a new trailer at Home Depot within days and drove 5 feet and the clacking was horrible. I had always had a welded hitch before buying a hitch that took a ball mount. I really thought something was wrong and when I searched the internet that night it turns out this is very common. However, all you need is some sort of hitch "silencing" device. The number of options will drive you mad but I went with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch and it did the trick for much less than most of the other options. If I were eTrailer.com I'd have that as one of the RECOMMENDED add-ons and explanation why its super-worthy when customers are buying a hitch. Would have saved me the time and hassle of dealing with it later and the extra shipping charge for buying after the fact when I got free shipping for the other items the first time :-) All in all, I'm super, super happy with my hitch, wiring assembly, ball mount, ball mount locking pin and the hitch silencer. Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 8-3/4" Rise - 10" Drop - 8,000 lbs
Perfect - Ball (40038) and mount (AMSC10) were as advertised, well made, and is exactly roght for connecting my Chevy Tahoe and 24 foot boat. Fast shipping. All past orders from you have been excellent in quality, fit, and excellent delivery time. You are my first choice when it comes to trailer and accessory parts.. Your measurement guidance for selecting the right drop or height for the mount was very helpful in being to order the parts and get it right the first time. Thanks -
I purchased the AMSC10 because I needed a 10" drop hitch to tow my lowboy enclosed trailer with my lifted Toyota Tundra. I tried several other types of hitches with this towing combo and I was always disappointed. Mostly because of the fit/sloppiness of the ball mount into the receiver. This would cause a lot of noise and the feeling of the trailer "bucking" while hitting bumps and such. The other hitches that I tried were those cool aluminum ones, both a fixed one and an adjustable one. Although they were pretty, both left me very disappointed. The shipping for this hitch from Etrailer was fast and efficient. I received emails informing me of my order status throughout the whole process. Upon receiving my AMSC10, I tested it out and found it to be a much nicer fit into the receiver. Once I hooked up to the trailer and began to tow, the difference was extremely noticeable. This hitch is quiet, it doesn't buck, and in fact, comparatively, you wouldn't even know the trailer was behind you unless you looked. I am actually really excited about towing with this hitch. I know it sounds goofy, because it is, but it makes the task so much more pleasurable with the cushion ball mount. I'm already thinking about buying the 8" drop for my normal trailers.

Cushioned Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 4-3/4" Rise - 6" Drop - 10,000 lbs
Great product. Super fast shipping by etrailer. Thank you!
Solid piece made in USA. Haven’t towed with it yet. Great phone service. Quick shipping. Impressed by how well the drop hitch arrived, many times small dense items don’t fair well in transit. Due to double box plus great heavy box and extra attachments to the box this arrived great. Clearly etrailer has this down.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10,000 lbs
My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks
We have a Pink Tractor (google Mom's Pink Tractor) that we pull to events, mainly in Ks, Ok, Mo, and Ne. We have around 35 events a year we take the tractor to to promote breast cancer awareness. The other day my wife and I were leaving for an event, i had let a friend borrow the hitch to see how he liked it. In less then a mile from the house my wife started complaining about the trailer jerking. That is coming from a lady that really was upset when I paid that much for a hitch. She told me to stop and buy one. (a long and expensive trip, we had to stop at a casino so she could rest her neck) I could write a review with a lot of trailer talk, but, this story tells the story.

Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs
We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.
This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 2-3/4" Rise, 4" Drop - 9" Long - 7.5K
To be honest, I use it upside down. I needed a hitch with rise, but none were available at time of purchase, and yours, inverted, works perfectly! The welds are regularly checked and remain all secure. It's a good hitch.
Working in the sand and grass of my driveway my wife and I installed our new etrailer receiver hitch. Great fit and finish! Went right on as described in the online guide. Hitch required a spacer washer on top back bolt attachment point. Taped it on so it would not move while lifting in place and it stayed right there! Used a car jack to raise up and hold the hitch into the underside of the trunk tighten the bolts and reattached the tail pipe done. Now we can pull our Sunfish Sailboat any where the car will go.

Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 8" Rise, 9-1/4" Drop - 14" Long - 5K
Because of how high the receiver on my Tahoe is most hitches don't drop enough for small or low trailers. Not an issue anymore.
I neeed to pull a trailer with my 2019 GMC Yukon. I found Etrailer.com and followed the instructions on determining the drop of the hitch, the instructions were spot on. I hooked up my trailer to my Yukon today, all was level and worked perfectly. I had driven around to Napa, Lowe’s, Home Depot and Walmart, and nobody had the 9” drop hitch I needed. Came back to Etrailer, bought the 2” ball and pin, and the Curt 9” drop hitch. I received the items quickly. Great website, Thanks, Craig

Convert-A-Ball Dual-Cushioned, Adjustable Ball Mount - 7" Rise to 9-1/2" Drop - 5,000 lbs
We bought this to tow our 3,000 lbs. boat with our Subaru Ascent with a 5,000 lbs. towing capacity. With the OEM ball mount, we could really feel every jolt and jiggle from hard stops, going over bumps in the road, and trailering down dirt roads. However, the dual cushion ball has really improved our trailing experience. Once we get up to speed, we hardly notice we are towing our boat. It's also great because some of the lakes we visit are down dirt roads, and the cushion makes this a much more pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone towing a boat or larger trailer with a SUV as it maintains that comfortable ride and the jostling of the trailer is much less noticeable.
A year has passed with my Convert-A-Ball Dual-Cushioned, Adjustable Ball Mount and I have nothing but praise for this mount. Once you find the correct height to have a perfectly level trailer there's no need to adjust. The beauty lies in the cushioning! Towing a Yamaha AR190 (3200lb boat and trailer combo) is silent. Even over the bumpiest pavement the tow is smooth. There is no harsh slamming when braking or taking off from the boat ramp. I don't know why everyone isn't running one of these, I wouldn't run any other hitch mount PERIOD! If you're on the fence, get off and buy one, you will NOT regret it!

Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 7" Rise, 8-1/4" Drop - 9-3/8" Long - 10,000 lbs
Was needing a 7-8 inch ride for my camper that could sustain a GVW of at least 5000 lbs. Let me say, it’s a hard to find item. Thankfully I called Etraer and with some research, found me the perfect ball mount. It’s heavy duty for a reasonable price.
Exactly what I asked for and expected!

Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 6-1/4" Rise, 7-1/2" Drop - 13" Long - 5,000 lbs
Let the packing/shipping department know they should've used a bigger box and packed it differently? Kinda disappointed as this isn't the first time stuff has been battle-scarred before I get it. Considering my next steps.
Great service

This is the perfect rise to tow a small trailer for moving.

Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 1" Rise, 2-1/4" Drop - 7-5/8" Long - 7,500 lbs
All products were installed and worked well
This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 4" Rise, 6" Drop - 14-1/4" Long - 6,000 lbs
The Extra Long Ball Mount proved useful immediately upon receipt. Delivery was prompt, and the updates from etrailer.com helped plan transport of several bicycles, simultaneously with a camper trailer. The extended length facilitated use with a Swagman bicycle rack, also purchased via etrailer.com. The product arrived in excellent condition, with correct capacity rating, and works perfectly, and in conjunction with the bicycle rack. I recommend purchases from etrailer.
Works great solid product.

Draw-Tite Ball Mount - 6-3/4" Rise, 8" Drop - 10" Long - 5,000 lbs
arrived in excellent condition. Customer service from E-Trailer keep me informed on the delivery status of the hitch drop
Just as advertised and solves my problem of trailer tongue level to hitch position. Delivered on schedule with no hiccups. Fits perfectly in the 2" factory receiver on my Jeep JKU. The 2" ball in the picture is a reused one not new which is why it has rust on it.
