Best 2022 Chevrolet Colorado Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

This has been one of the best hitches that I have owned. It is adjustable to change between my Jeep Wrangler and my Ford F-150 Limited. Both have different tow heights and tow needs based on trailer type and payload capacity. This hitch has worked great for those purposes!

Gone are the days I need to carry three different hitches with different sized balls on them. Gone are the days when I, or others, walked around the back of my truck and cracked their shin on a protruding trailer hitch. I keep this folded up in front of the drop where it's not going to catch anyone by surprise. When I'm ready to use it, I simply pull two pins out which allows it to drop free and rotate out. I choose the height I need and install the two pins/clips. To rotate the balls, again simply pull the third pin and rotate to desired size. It was more than I wanted to spend at the time but since I'm glad I spent the money.

This is exactly what I needed for my front end mounted receiver.

Nice solid (not hollow) and WELDED hitch. Have logged about 5,000 miles this year with no problems. I had many problems with bolted on balls, welded hitches are the way to go.

Bought a new truck and never thought my ball mount off old truck would be an issue. Sure enough, let my tailgate down and it hit the top of my wind jack to my trailer. Went to u-haul,tractor supply and walmart. None had the solution to my problem. Started a Web search and came across etrailer. Found exactly what I needed and at a great price! Great purchase experience. eTrailer has this convenient package of ball and hitch already torqued together, AND includes a locking pin in addition to the normal cotter pin! We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

The 3” drop is perfect for a stock 4x4 Silverado 1500. I can tow my small trailer as well as my full size tandem axle trailer without changing hitches/balls. Just what I wanted.

I liked the hitch just fine. I was hoping it would allow me to stow it and the be able to use my step in my GMC sierra tailgate but that won’t happen. I almost damaged my back up camera when checking it out. I am glad I did before assuming it was out of the way. I still like the product and will still fold it up when I need to.

This is the cats meow! I love how I can put multiple balls on one tow bar but in addition to adjusting the tow bar height to meet different trailer heights.

Its stout and pulls my 7X16 foot enclosed trailer, fully loaded with 8,000 pounds, without any issue. I don't even know that its back there. I have a diesel Ram 2500 with an 8 inch lift and the hitch drops level with the trailer. 5 stars!!

This is a great product, well built and matches my chrome bumper. My truck is lowered so I needed a sturdy product with a good rise to compensate. This hitch, along with the Roadmaster Quiet Hitch from etrailer and the Fastway Trailer Hitch locks work together nicely.

Looks good and functions even better. I have the hitch fully adjusted and never had an issue. Gotten a ton of compliments! Would highly recommend!

The product is good but a bit tideous and after installing it my bracket fell and it was a pain to get replace it support made me buy the replacement pieces and the bracket didnt come with just the bolts, and at the end they told i have i had to buy the whole unit because based on their system my truck didnt have issues with installement and the manufacturer didnt supply that bracket cause it special order so in general i dont recommend in my choice better to get it welded.

Working in the sand and grass of my driveway my wife and I installed our new etrailer receiver hitch. Great fit and finish! Went right on as described in the online guide. Hitch required a spacer washer on top back bolt attachment point. Taped it on so it would not move while lifting in place and it stayed right there! Used a car jack to raise up and hold the hitch into the underside of the trunk tighten the bolts and reattached the tail pipe done. Now we can pull our Sunfish Sailboat any where the car will go.

This is a beast of a drawbar, solid forged steel & well finished. It's also very heavy and E-Trailer needed to ship 3 times because the first two broke out of the box they were packed in. (Someone in the USPS has a couple nice draw bars.) Fortunately the 3rd effort was much better packed in a reinforced box and was successfully delivered. E-Trailer customer service was exemplary in resolving the shipment issue & I will definitely shop with them again.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

Very happy with this ball mount - provides just the amount of drop we required for a level tow of our GeoPro travel trailer by our RAM2500. Plus, the extra length not only allows a tighter turning radius, but also allows us to lower the truck tailgate without having to detach the trailer. Huge improvement on all accounts for us compared to our prior setup. The product is well built and I'm confident will provide us years of good use.

Your packaging it's lousy, package arrived with a receiver size hole in the end of box . Guess what the box was empty . This is the second time I have had problems with your company !

George, The product is great- well made and built to last. However, I was a little bummed that it took so long to get delivered. In reading the reviews of others on how fast the product was received I thought that it would be here in time for a recent trip I made (and was hoping to use it) to tow a trailer from California to Colorado and really put it to the test. It didn't make it in time, so I don't know how it would have done. In your brochure with the product you mention the use of locking pins but do not reference any part number or cost. This might be an item you recommend when customers place an order, as well as a mention in your video (which by the way is what put the "yes- I need that for all my towing needs!") . One of the coolest things is that I won't bust a shin or trip over the hitch late at night when walking around the the truck. After many years of purchasing single height towing hitches for each trailer and compromising correct towing weights, a little forward or rearward because height wasn't correct and the stressfull driving conditions it created, I finally decided to look into a genuine solution. I found the B&W Tow and Stow hitch, this is exactly what is needed for the multiple trailers in your life. This hitch is the master of controlling height and weight distribution, plus ball size changes and WOW...heavy duty, what a difference in towing control. This is one solid hitch. Bought the hitch to pull about 5000 lbs. there's no doubt in my mind that it can handle it.

EXCELLENT I ordered the Towing Starter Kit on Wednesday and received it Saturday. The product is just what I wanted and ordered and is of high quality. It works well with my new class III hitch. I especially like the locking pin to secure the receiver to the hitch. I am moving from Colorado to Florida and found the hitch, towing starter kit and a rented trailer to be my best option to move my belongings.
