Best 2020 Ram 3500 Truck Bed Tie Downs

The installation was as expected but the tie down part does not work smoothly and you have to use a screw driver to raise it

Tie-Downs were exactly as described. They work great. Easy to install, even with the upper plastic bed rail. I like that they lock in the Up position. I use them all the time when my Wife & I go biking. I built a bike rack for my truck and just use tie down cables to hold the bikes in place using the Anchors!

Should have bought the more expensive ones. I purchased four. One of them was disassembled on arrival due to a production error. The cross pin holding the u bolt in place had fallen out by gravity. Lost some faith in the product overall - we’ll see how it goes. The one package will be returned.

The truck TIE DOWNS I purchased at ETRAILER are made extremely well and are used often. As you can see by my photos, they are a perfect fit and are very handy to have. Obviously, if I need to use the front TIE DOWNS, I would have to remove my tonneau, but that is a very easy task and well worth the small effort. I installed these Putco Push Up Tie Downs the same day as the rail caps and tonneau cover you see in the picture of my 1996 F250. I'm thrilled. The Putco's accent the tonneau cover and make the cargo bed look really great. Beyond looking nice, they are obviously sturdy and serviceable; inspiring confidence. Installation was easy, if a little snug on my particular model, but the various size compression blocks packed in the kit made it workable. I was glad I had an allen wrench socket attachment to speed the job along, but that's not absolutely required. I recommend the Putcos without reservation. These are very sturdy pocket anchors. They look and feel very well made. I bought six for an F250. The kit comes with several different size rubber expanders. The 3/8" thick, 1 1/4" wide by 1 1/2" long expander worked well for the F250. Place the tie down in the pocket with the expander and threaded plate at the very end of the bolt. As you tighten the bolt the rubber expander will make contact with the underside of the truck bed pocket. The two middle pockets on the truck needed a little adjustment to fit the tie downs in properly. I used a piece of scrap wood and a crow bar to pry the inside of the pocket to enlarge the cavity. It didn't need much. Perhaps 1/16th of an inch.

I've ordered these track kits 3 or 4 times for several trailers. I really find them convenient. I just wish I could order only extra tracks because I have all the tie downs I could ever need and the fasteners that come standard (nice SS nuts and bolts) don't work when screwing down to a plywood deck.

Going to use the rails in my van. The rails are narrow and look great. Quality is excellent.

I like the polished finish which matches the chrome on my 1964 Chevy C10 really well. The install was pretty straight forward, but took some finessing to get it in the stake pocket just right. One thing I've noticed is that the tie down rings don't sit flush after installation which is a little annoying, but nothing that I can't live with! Great product for the price. I added some pics of my truck and the etrailer team putting the stake pockets in.

These stake hole covers are the perfect addition to finish off the bed rails of my 2006 F-350. They are functional Tie-downs with a touch of bling. Made of quality casting and a heavy gauge steel pull-up with stainless screws, they should hold anything I might need to restrain. It took longer to round up my drill and Phillips bit than it did to install the four tie-downs. The front two stake holes are covered by the cross-box so it's great that these are sold in pairs. I won't need to buy again because these are built to last the life of the truck. The only slight concern is that the ring does not lay flat or fully retracted when not in use. Not a big deal but if your were sitting on it, you would know it.

So far they look great, they are low profile, and will get the job done when you don't need 2000 pound straps to hold small items against the wall. You can save money with these. I have not installed them yet so I can't provide a long term review.

Even easier to install than described. These are a great addition and add the finishing touch to my new GMC 3500 Denali Black Diamond edition truck. Well made and very functional.

Installation was easy (though a 3rd hand would help) Haven't had reason to use them yet but they look like they would spread a load over more sheet metal than the OE tie-downs I can see a use for a straight angle as an option. I frequently keep a strap running between the two points closest to the tailgate just to keep smaller loads from sliding out of reach. Straight loops would not apply a torque to the bedside when loaded that way.

I installed these on my 2025 Hyundai Santa Cruz. At first I could not get them to drop down into the stake pocket. Removing the screws entirely solved that problem. Then I began to tighten the screws, I had grabbed a common Phillips head screwdriver but quickly realized that it was not engaging well with the screw head and was beginning to damage the head when it kept popping out. I recall watching some Youtube videos and that was happening to the installer using a driver drill and popping a lot, but he did not appear to notice and/or care. I very soon stopped and got a Phillips head # 3 (the first was the more common #2), that made a world of difference. Apparently on older Santa Cruz the area over the stake pocket had to be cut out either with a knife or a dremel. For my model/year it was much easier as they just popped out with a quick pry from a small flat head screwdriver. The one complaint I have is the stainless steel flange on the bull ring does not quite completely cover the hole made by removing the stake pocket cover. It is very close but I wish it had at least an 1/8' overlap and it does not, that lack of fit causes a slight bend in the flange.

I use these all the time. Super easy to install. The only reccomendation is that they would pop up and stay up if wanted. as they are now you need to pull the loop up and hook our rope or strap or they will retract by Gravity.

Installed but not used. I think they will be great. However one of the mount surface plastic housing was cracked over half the length. Not sure the cause as they were packaged well. I think i can live with it.

The installation was easy. The quality of the product is very good. Made good good materials.

The ball ring tiedowns seem to be plenty strong, but we’re a little bit of a pain to install. Overall, they should work out just fine.

Exactly as described. Worked in the front only of my 2023 Ram Limited with the factory sprayed in bed liner. I tried to see if the rear would fit anyway because my bed cargo lights are not in the way but the actual holes are too small to accommodate the bull ring.

2025 Ram Laramie 1500 5'7 Bed. So far, so good. TIP: I initially struggled to install them, however, just take the screw fully out to install... Made life so much easier.

Although these d-rings are easy to install, and fit in the stake pockets, I believe they are meant for truck beds with bed rails, because when I tightened them down, they were still slightly loose, and my truck bed has no rails. It would help if this was noted on the product page.

Got these pop up tie downs for my 2017 GMC Canyon last year for Christmas. I just love them. They make a great addition to my truck. I have used them many times to secure loads in my truck bed including furniture, large bags of mulch, and lumber. When not in use they look great as well! I would highly recommend them.

Great design! A light lubrication of like 3 in one oil helps keep the pop up working great. Made to fit! What can I say, I like chrome! Old school great sleek look. Far better than older style of rubber plug in the pocket. I have been very pleased with this product! Larry S.

You’ll need a router to do this efficiently on a Ram truck. You can do it with a box cutter knife but it would be a lot of work. They are awesome and I already used them!

I don’t use the tie downs often, but when needed they come in VERY handy. I like the trim appearance. Much nicer than big rings sticking up from the sides of the bed.
