I have a 2010 Range Rover and couldn't find a ball mount long enough to get the ball properly away from the bumper. Even Range Rover's "solution" didn't work. Found just what I was looking for on etrailer.com. Superb site. Superb customer service. The product was just as advertised and works like a charm.

This is really nice. Beveled edges so it slips into receiver hitch so sweet. Beautiful welds heavy weight mount for my weigh safe ball. I bought a 10,000 lbs hitch and I wanted a draw bar with the same type rating. Now the only thing limiting my trailer capacity is my truck's ability to tow, not the hitch, bar or ball.

Works great. Range Rover dealer wanted to charge me over $800 for a solution. I don’t remember what I paid for this but it was less than $100 and works great.

I bought this for my 2006 Range Rover. The factory receiver is well back of the rear of the vehicle. I drilled another hole where I wanted the ball to be. Works excellent!!

I was having trouble finding the proper ball mount for my Range Rover as many ball mounts are too short. Just what I needed, most receivers would not allow me to open the tail gate on my 2022 dodge ram without hitting the trailers crank used to mount and dismount the car hauler trailer, this receiver give me the extra few inches I needed and it works perfectly, I tried many local sources but they all came up too short, etrailer is the place to go for all trailer parts, they seem to know and sell exactly what you may need

Worked great on my '06 Range Rover. Helped to get the ball out from under the bumper, but didn't stick out too far. Would recommend for similar vehicles with recessed hitch receivers.

First order for this item came up missing in transit. I called etrailer and seen the part was missing. The very nice lady on the phone gave me the option for full refund or replacement. Purchased to extend the trailer away from the back of the vehicle, and increase the drop. Initially could not fit in to my receiver, eventually figured out that the end of the 2" square was mushroomed, had to remove excess metal with a rotary tool. now it fits as far as the first 5/8" pin hole. No issues with use - seems sturdy, metal finish seems durable. Didn't drop the trailer tongue as much as I had hoped, but that's on me - I was probably running a 3" drop before, but I thought it was 2".

Dual length to get past a spare tyre mounted to the rear door. The 1’ hole allows for a heavier grade of ball to be mounted. The product is well made and packaged. I found etrailer some years ago after doing a global search for a product that I needed. We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

I have two of these. My first I bought two years ago. I very highly recommend this Curt Class III Ballmount 2" Drop because of its price, durability and quality. I towed various class 3 loads with ease and confidence with this ballmount. It slides into the hitch and does its job without fail. It looks excellent after towing a load. etrailer's price is about as good as it gets and delivery is very speedy.

The hitch and ball mount are excellent quality. My concerns are twofold. The hitch is so heavy that I had to take it to my mechanic to have it installed. Minor cost and inconvenience, but the hitch for my previous F-150 was just as sturdy, but easy to install myself (albeit with higher ground clearance). My concern about the ball mount is that the factory told me erroneously that it could not be reversed for a drop, so I returned it. This order is for the replacement after I was finally correctly told it could be reversed and how to do that. Ball mount would have been a 3 for that reason, and overall hitch and ball mount quality a 5. So I averaged them.

Purchased because I wanted something that looked a little better than the standard black ball mount and couldn’t find the size I wanted in aluminum. I used it 3 times last season and put it away for the winter in my garage. It was never on the truck while salt was on the road. Pulled it out the other day and it is a disgusting rusty mess. Attempts to clean off the rust were unsuccessful it was that bad. Total waste of money BTW the picture is post cleaning, it was even worse before

The ball mount, p/n 4284, fit perfectly on my 2007 Range Rover. It extends out from under the vehicle far enough to safely attach my utility trailer without damaging the rear of the Range Rover. I recommend this ball mount to anyone needing this application. Thanks for a great product.

Excellent hitch! Needed the extended length as our bumper isn't notched for towing. With a tongue weight of 1100#, there aren't many hitches that offer the extension with weight rating. This one fits perfect! Thanks

This is a great all-purpose hitch. I've used it to mount a heavy-duty bike rack and a steel T-rack to carry a canoe as well as lumber. Most recently I hauled 5 x 8 cargo trailers full of plants, then furniture for a 600-mile move. It was simple to use, problem free, very strong and sturdy. Now that I live on some acreage, I see a trailer in my future, so this will get a lot more use. I drive a 2013 Tacoma, so this is a good size hitch at a good price with sufficient capacity for my needs. I do use a key lock for the hitch as well.

I actually got my hitch the date they said it would be here to my surprise. When the box arrived it was pretty much beat up, not the hitch just the box. I wished there was instructions how to install it. Overall very satisfied and will buy from 5hem again

Very nice ball mount. Smooth, one piece design. Unlike my previous ball mount, it's long enough (enough straight length between the pin hole and the beginning of the bend) to accommodate a Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II, yielding a nice, tight connection. Attractive polished finish. Made in Taiwan (according to the box it came in). Photos show it attached to a Hidden Hitch Class III Hitch Receiver, secured with a Blue Ox Hitch Receiver Immobilizer II, and a Curt 40053 2-inch stainless steel ball.

My usage of your hitch is a bit unusual, I think. I pull a two ton roller with my Ram and I've used your cushioned hitch to smooth out the process. The roller Lunette just dropped over a 2" ball and then banged and jerked on the ball neck. Check out the photos for my adaptation.. I can flip it over and use the 2" ball! Have enclosed some photos. The cushion is holding up very well and it takes a beating!! Thanks

We have a Pink Tractor (google Mom's Pink Tractor) that we pull to events, mainly in Ks, Ok, Mo, and Ne. We have around 35 events a year we take the tractor to to promote breast cancer awareness. The other day my wife and I were leaving for an event, i had let a friend borrow the hitch to see how he liked it. In less then a mile from the house my wife started complaining about the trailer jerking. That is coming from a lady that really was upset when I paid that much for a hitch. She told me to stop and buy one. (a long and expensive trip, we had to stop at a casino so she could rest her neck) I could write a review with a lot of trailer talk, but, this story tells the story.
