I had tested while driving with the hitch ball on it and with it on the lowest setting it would scrape against the ground when I am going down a slight slope. I had to switch it to the highest setting to avoid it, it still scrapes so I just leave it off until I need to start towing things.

All in one kit is Very convenient. but before you order, ensure the rise/drop of this ball mount is correct for your hitch/trailer. Also - there is a gusset plate welded on the back of the ballmount (Drawtite 2953) in this kit, - on the 2010 Dodge Caravan with the Draw Tite Class III hitch,this plate just rubs/touches the bumper, so this draw bar can't be used on 2006-on Caravan.

Nice little bag to store the extra ball and the ball mount when it is not in use. This is an excellent product, pulled my trailer within minutes of installation without a problem. Great feature with the removable ball, includes the 1 7/8" and 2" ball, this is awesome. The 2 3/4" rise fits my Caravan and trailer like they were custom made for each other. The trailer rides almost PERFECTLY level with the trailer. Put an actual level on the trailer after hooking it up and it is only a hair off the level, and of course this is probably due to road conditions. Great product at a fabulous price! The Extra Long Ball Mount proved useful immediately upon receipt. This is very sturdy hitch. It is made of solid steel, not tubing. It will be used on my Mazda RX-3 to tow my car dolly to the RV lot where I will swap everything around and the car will end up on the dolly behind my RV.

Perfectly as described, Box was a heavy hitch and the box must have been damaged in shipping so it was a little delayed. You can't mess up a forged hitch it still is in excellent condition.

I bought this to use it for the 3 inch rise it provided. I have a lowered truck and towing my car carrier would prove to be difficult at times. The 3 inch raised that this provided made the trailer stay in a more manageable position. The heavy solid metal construction is of extremely high-quality. I would not have any hesitation towing something at the rated 16,000 pound capacity.

Fits our VW Touareg perfectly and allows us to tow a variety of things now. As can be seen in the pictures the hitch has a +5-inch gap between the bumper and the vertical adjustment pillar and the trailer itself is out further so there's enough room to get to the rear hatch and maneuver the vehicle/trailer.

I needed a hitch that I could haul my work trailer with and still drop the tailgate without dropping the trailer. I looked on etrailer and found one that would work barely but decided to call etrailer and see if anyone had any ideas. Steve answered and looked after I told him my requirements and came up with this. This has a longer distance from ball to pin by a few inches compared to the one I found so my tailgate will still drop even if I’m at an angle to my trailer or on a hill. Also with the adjustable height it’s great. Awesome hitch. Solid for a good price. ??

Great product. Extremely well built and looks great. Very easy to put into stow mode and move it back to the positions you want to tow from. The rated capacity of it is great it’ll do everything your truck will do in a bumper pull mode. It is a must for a 19 F-250 with the ride height to get your load level and to make the connection a easier process.
