Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
I only received the rack yesterday but I tried it on the vehicle today. It was easy to install to the hitch. I haven't put bikes on it yet but I was pushing and pulling it and it felt very sturdy.
Love it! All good. Thanks!

Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Super fast delivery! Great bike rack and great price!
The product, Swagman XTC-2 bike carrier arrived on time as estimated. No scratch, no bent, no missing parts - all good. Installation process took about 30 minutes: some parts came pre-assembled. Our SUV has a 2" receiver, so we use the rack as delivered (assembled for 2" use). Already taken the bikes out for a ride: this easy, safe, and comfortable product made it a breeze. We love it and hope to use it for a long time.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I love my Swagman XTC4 4-Bike Rack. Very simple to put together. In less than an hour you are done. The quality and finish of the rack is superb. You can put different size bikes from children to adult without a problem. Bikes are secure, I have driven at highway speeds without any concern at all. I had a two pole hanging type bike rack before this one and the bikes were getting scratched and I was always concerned of them falling off. The swagman bike rack folds away nicely when not in use and it fits perfectly on my 2005 Honda pilot. You will not be disappointed. I highly recommend this product.

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Overall the rack has been fine, I use it 2-3x a week to carry my bike to the trails. I do however, have some feedback. The locking hanger that secures the bike in place is not intuitive. You have to push down on the bike to get it to unlock. Not a big deal but I got really frustrated trying to unload the bikes until I figured it out. The finish comes off easily, I have had to sand down and paint some of the points where the different parts touch several times. Currently, the pivot points have surface rust on them. The thumb adjusters to lock the slides have a tendency to come loose. Once I neglected to adjust them and the bike did fall off the rack, fortunately it was at low speed so only the derailleur hanger bent. Lastly, the middle locking pin has recently started to back itself out while driving around. It doesn't cause anything to happen aside from the rack rattling around. These are all small things that are part of wear and tear of a product that lives outside and is meant to haul gear- I am not disappointed in the equipment, just providing real life feedback.
Love this for the height as I am a 72 year old woman and lifting the bile can be a problem for me, but not with this rack I use on my Honda Pilot. I do use a bungee cord around the post while I am taking the bike off the rack as the bike will fall off once the holding bar is elevated so this prevents accidental damage to your car and bike.

Yakima FullBack 3 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Performed perfectly on a 140 mile round-trip in my 2017 Acura MDX. It took me a few tries to position the anchors inside the top of the hatch, but I got the hang of it and the rack did not shift at all while driving 50-60 mph on the highway.
Excellent quality! Bike rack comes fully assembled. Cam locks hold the upper support and the bike arms in position and are very easy to use.fairly useless included cable lock. Will only work if you always carry 3 bikes. I just used my cable lock and had no problems transporting my bike to the trails.

Kuat NV 2.0 Base Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Wheel Mount - Matte Black
Received my carrier for two 51# Motiv EBikes. This carrier is very well thought out. Has everything I could want. Don't have to lift the bikes very high. Secure attachment, built in bike locks. Actually folds up and I can fit it and my Honda Pilot into my garage and shut the door without removing the carrier! Doesn't interfere with the backup camera either. I do have one bone to pick on putting it together. The first carrier platform took about 2 hours to figure out. Once the lightbulb came on, the second one only took 15 minutes. They should have mentioned the long bolts go in opposite directions (a good engineering idea). As a non-mechanically minded old fart, a photo or a mention of this would have been appreciated.
We got the bike rack over the weekend, it's on the car and we used it today. Super easy to put the bikes on and off. We have a Pilot and the trunk can open w/o having to move the rack even when it's fully collapsed to the car. The directions to put together were a little challenging, the only reason I didn't give it a 5. But when together and on the car - it's great.

Saris Freedom Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
WOW WOW WOW That is what I just kept saying after installing this Saris bike rack. I have been looking for a bike rack for almost 3-4 months now. Thule and Yakima didn't have what I was looking for. Their solution for a 4-5 bike rack is too complicated, not efficient, and it would be a nightmare to manage on a regular basis. So I couldn't get myself to pull a trigger on any of those and I kept searching. Finally, I came to eTrailer and found out about Saris. That is where the love starts :) We are a family of 5 (3 kids and 2 grown-ups). I needed something that will help me load bikes fast, unload them and still be able to have access to the back of my Toyota Sequoia. Saris delivered in every way. Assemble of the item is straight forward. Instructions are clear and to the point. They even give you a yellow strip that helps you mark where the hitch needs to be in order to align hole openings for easier installation after you install it the first time ;) The back-up camera is still usable but not 100%. Tilting down the rack with the bikes on it is simple as 1-2-3. There is plenty of room left between the trunk door and the bike as you can see on the pictures. One HUGE benefit is that you do not need any extra parts for kids bikes. Not like with other brands. Saris delivers tremendously on this part too. No shaking, rattling, or anything that would make you notice that you have this amazing product on the back of your SUV/truck. I can't recommend it more. I am just surprised that this product has not been more advertised and represented compared to other products.
this thing is a beast. while i haven't used it as much as i thought i would, i'm really happy with the quality of the rack. would def recommend to others looking for a 4 bike rack.

Yakima FullBack 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Perfect for my 2019 RAV-4. I like this product because it allows me to drive and park without having to worry about height clearances in the city and parking was still navigable. Definitely worth the money!
First, etrailers.com is the BEST! Okay, this rack is amazing. If it was made in the U.S.A, I believe it would be closer to $ 800.00+, it's not, thus the incredible price point, imo. Incredible craftmanship, sturdy, versatile, nice to look at, as well. Very detailed instructions included. Fits my 2015 Prius 4 perfectly. Our beach cruises both required adaptor bars. I opted to wait on the bike rack, to ensure a good fit, etc. then purchase the adaptor bars. After much research, I went with Delta adaptors, I wish etrailers.com carried them, but they do not. Nevertheless, this rack is tops, highly recommend. Thank you for reading!

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
Product arrived on time and the package was in good condition. It comes fully assembled which is a bonus, because I was able to use it right away. Great product for the price, highly recommended.
etrailer has the best pre- and post-sales customer service I've ever seen! I started out not knowing anything about hitch-mounted racks. So I wrote to etrailer telling them about my car and type of hitch I was about to have installed. Samuel wrote back with lots of great information tailored specifically to my car. He even included a photo that looked just like my 2017 white VW GTI with a hitch and rack installed. Okay something of a coincidence. But the rest of the assistance I got from the crew at etrailer was just as prophetic. I went into this a novice and came out knowing lots more about hitches and racks and finding the rack best suited to my situation. I have a small car, a class 1 hitch and a heavy mountain bike. I got exactly what I needed. As to the Swagman rack itself, it works fine. If I had a different situation I would probably buy a platform rack as they are easier to load. There's no reason to buy a bike rack anywhere else.
Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Honda Pilot
Speaker 1: Today in our 2016 Honda Pilot we're gonna be test fitting the Yakima fold back two bike rack part number Y02634. We already have a bike installed on the rack so let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. This is one of the more higher end hatch mount and bike racks that you're gonna see out there, starting at the ends here we're gonna have the patented Yakima bottle opener on one, and this comes with a lot of the Yakima bike racks. And on the other end we're gonna have the integrated cable lock. You would actually take it out, wrap it around the outer frame of the outer bike and attach it to this point here and lock it in place to secure your bikes in place once everything's done. Moving to the cradles, these are gonna be stationary meaning they don't move back and forth or side to side, however they do have this TPE padding at the base here and that's gonna act as kind of a shock absorber for your frame while you're traveling and help protect it. It's also gonna be padded along the bottom side of our zip strips here as well where it makes contact with your bike frame. It's gonna hold your bike at three points, we'll have two zip strips up at the top two here, one off to the side which is gonna serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth and causing bike to bike contact.
Yakima Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2016 Honda Pilot
Speaker 1: Today with our 2016 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima HalfBack 2 Bike Rack, part number Y02636. We already have a bike installed on our rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Starting at the end here, at the ends of both of our arms we're gonna have the Yakima bottle openers which are pretty common amongst most other bike racks. Moving back we have the cradles here. These are stationary, meaning they don't move back and forth or side to side but they do have this TPE padding at the base here, and that's gonna act as a shock absorber while you travel to help protect the frame of your bike.
Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2016 Honda Pilot
Today in our 2016 Honda Pilot, we've gonna be test-fitting the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches, part number S64650. We already have a bike installed on the vehicle. Let's take a closer look, and show off some of the features. How the bike is held into place, we're gonna have one point of contact, which is gonna be this padded hookup at the top, and that's gonna keep it in place, while the tires rest in these wheel cradles here, which are adjustable along the length of the bike rack to accommodate loading and different sized bikes. So, you loosen and tighten these knobs to adjust them along the length of the arm here. Also, this does have a raised shank to it, so even with vehicles that has a particularly low hitch-clearance, it's not gonna have an issue of clearance between the bike rack and the ground. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside, we'll hold on to the bike while we release our hooks here, and that's just to make sure the bike doesn't fall onto the vehicle. There's this gray button here at the base of our frame-hook, push that in, and now we can grab the bike and set it off to the side.

We're going to have a strap up at the top here and off to the side here. That's going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep your bike from moving too far back and forth, and making bike to bike contact. When all three bikes are loaded, it does come with two stabilization straps to put around the bikes as well.

What our customers are saying:
"Sent out an e-mail to you earlier this week asking which hitch woudld be the best choice for installing on a 2000 Venture van for hauling a bike rack with two bikes. You suggested the one that would be easiest to install..received in a matter of days..installation went great ..very well thought out instructions. Everything went smooothly and the hitch is up nice and snug..doesn't stick out..looks great."
