Kuat Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Escape

Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now, the most important feature about this rack is the fact that this can tilt away with the bike still attached. To do that, we have this latch here on the side. You want to hold onto the bike rack when you release this so it doesn't just come falling down. You pull down on that, gently let it come down like so, and now we have access to our rear hatch to get what we need without having to remove the bike. Now, I would like to point out from the center of our handlebars to this edge here, we measured it to be about 9 inches, so as you can see we have plenty of space here for a little bit longer handlebars with other bikes.
