Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 8-3/4" Rise - 10" Drop - 8,000 lbs
Just received this mount and did the test fit with our trailer. We have not hit the road with it yet but I am confident it will perform perfectly. I am anxious to see how the cushioned feature works. We pull a box cargo trailer for business and just got a new Chevy HD pickup to tow with. It has a 2.5" receiver and hitch height is much greater than the Suburban we were using plus it had a 2" receiver. This mount is rated for far more weight than we will ever need but it was the only 2.5" size with 6" drop that I could find. We are very pleased with the product and the excellent customer service we got at etrailer. Thanks to everyone there for the very fast service and for keeping me informed as to the status of my order. well done!
I purchased a 2020 GMC Yukon XL Denali which is about 9" taller than my 1988 Chevy Suburban was. The Convert-A-Ball Mount with a 12" Drop is the right amount of drop I needed so I could keep all 3 of my trailers (box, boat, and car trailers) level with the ground. The Convert-A-Ball Mount with a 12" Drop and a 7,000 lb load rating has been a very good product for me.

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 8-1/2" Long - 7.5K
Its a ball mount. As far as ball mounts go, this one's pretty spiffy.
Construction and finish of drop down trailer hitch is excellent. Installed on a Chevrolet Suburban it is used to pull a heavy duty 2-axel flat bed trailer. Works great and is easily removed to get garage door closed.

Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 10-3/4" Rise, 12" Drop - 7,000 lbs
I purchased a 2020 GMC Yukon XL Denali which is about 9" taller than my 1988 Chevy Suburban was. I recently bought a new Chevy Suburban. I've been driving these since before they were called SUV's. Back when they were the only game in town. And I've been towing trailers all this time. But my new Suburban has a hitch receiver that is in the middle of the bumper, much too high. One of my trailers actually scrapes along the ground because of the height of the hitch. I got a 6" drop hitch elsewhere, but was dissappointed that it didn't solve my problem. And 6" drop was the lowest they had. I was so glad to find your site and the 12" drop hitch I just received. Problem solved. Thanks!

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 1" Rise, 2" Drop - 8-1/2" Long - 16K
PERFECT
This is a beast of a drawbar, solid forged steel & well finished. It's also very heavy and E-Trailer needed to ship 3 times because the first two broke out of the box they were packed in. (Someone in the USPS has a couple nice draw bars.) Fortunately the 3rd effort was much better packed in a reinforced box and was successfully delivered. E-Trailer customer service was exemplary in resolving the shipment issue & I will definitely shop with them again.

B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 7" Drop, 7-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black
This hitch puts them all to shame...I have tried several and that cost more, and this is by far the best hitch I have owned. Absolute must on newer Suburbans and Tahoes due to the high frame. E-Trailer, of course had the best price and I had it in three days! Done! JC

Curt Multi-Ball Adjustable Ball Mount for 2" Trailer Hitches
Picked up my teardrop in ABQ on 2/17/23, and the Curt ball mount lined up perfectly with no drop/rise, and the extra length gave clearance for my rear door mounted spare tire. This mount is a beast, and the "overbuilt" nature of it gave me confidence that my Bronco would tow the teardrop easily. I also got the Curt Echo wireless brake controller, which synced easily to my phone and was easy to install, set up, and use. Overall a great towing experience, thanks to etrailer and Curt!
Very versatile - can use it on both my vehicles that have very different hitch height. Clean welds, super solid. Weighs a LOT!

B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount - 2" Hitch - 5" Drop, 5-1/2" Rise - 10K - Black
I ordered for all the right reasons. Quality, ease of ordering, etrailer presence on social media, free shipping, expedient receipt of products. In “my” haste, one of the features of my B&W trailer hitch does not work on my vehicle. My Chevy Suburban has a rear valance that wii not allow me to rotate the ball hitch underneath the vehicle. I’m very impressed with the Areo silent hitch pin.
Works great. Nice, big heavy duty hitch...just wish they had some locking pins for the 3 that are on there

Draw-Tite Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 3" Rise, 4" Drop - 9-1/4" Long - 16K

Perfectly as described, Box was a heavy hitch and the box must have been damaged in shipping so it was a little delayed. You can't mess up a forged hitch it still is in excellent condition.

Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with 2" Receiver for Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 7,500 lbs
works well as either a ball for trailer or link point for bike carrier, but unfortunately the clearance of any of my bike racks above the ball is not enough to back up and link up trailer. still, once unhooked it provides a way of mounting bikes without changing up hitches
This is a high quality product and delivered on time. Unfortunately this product doesn't work in my situation, there is interference on the boat trailer coupling and the bike rack in which the boat trailer cannot clear between the 2 inch trailer ball and the attached bike rack. The clearance between the bike rack and trailer is just enough for the trailer tongue coupler to pass through If there was an option to have a 4 inch drop on the trailer connection this could work well

Rapid Hitch Adjustable, Aluminum Ball Mount Kit w/ 2 Zinc Balls - 10" Drop, 11" Rise
I love this thing and it has performed well on several long trips: 3 times to TX and once to IL from NJ plus local stuff. It's somewhat lighter than the other ball mounts I've had and certainly looks nicer. It provides a ton of adjustability and my '17 Suburban needed 9 inches of drop for the utility trailer (Stealth Phantom II) I use to haul motorcycles here and there. One thing I'd rather have is two separate balls or just the 2" alone since the other ball does touch down on extreme driveways I've encountered.
Impressed with website. Found exactly the hitch I wanted. Ordering was easy. Received it quickly. Hitch appears to be of excellent quality, and as described. By suburban 2500 has a higher than average bumper. This hitch solves my issue. Thanks for the integrity of your company. Thank you George and etrailer!

This hitch combines the perfect balance of tongue weight and hitch drop. I purchased this for my 3/4 ton suburban pulling a 12' Haulmark trailer...what a dream. the greaseless ball is a bonus to keep pants clean when bumped into. Strongly advise the locking pins... this hitch will be stolen quickly as it is super sharp to look at. highly recommend!!!
Andersen Rapid Hitch Ball Mount Review - 2014 Chevrolet Suburban
Today on our 2014 Chevy Suburban we will be test fitting the Rapid Hitch adjustable aluminum ball mount kit with 2 chrome balls, part #AM3410. Before we begin our test fit, we're just going to get the hitch height of our Suburban. The hitch height is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. We get a hitch height of about 24 1/2 inches. Keep in mind this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style or after market accessories. We will now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch. We will then line up the pin holes, insert the pin through the pin holes and then secure it with the clip on the other side. With the ball platform as high as it can go, we will measure from the ground to the top of the platform.
