2nd order from etrailer, great customer service & fast delivery! My 2" ball fit the ball mount perfectly and I installed it in a few minutes. Make sure that you use a ball with a 1" shank. It stores easily underneath my Hyundai Santa Fe cargo mat until I need it.

My order arrived in two days. I am impressed both by the layout and functionality of etrailer website and by the quick, free shipment. The hitch for my 20007 Hyundai Santa Fe is well made, well finished and fit perfectly. The estimated installation time of 30 minutes would probably have been accurate had I not had to clean 3 years worth of rust from the mounting nuts installed by the factory. Once clean (no simple task since reaching them with a 10m/1.25 tap was difficult) mounting the tow bar was simple and made easier with a pair of jackstands. Owing to the design and location of the mounts, reaching them required the use of different ratchet extensions and flexible joints and I'm not certain of the accuracy of any torque reading. In summary, I am pleased with the product and impressed by the follow-up from etrailer. I will recommend them without hesitation.

The good: It works. The not so good: 1. The lock washer on the ball stud makes it really hard to remove the nut. The lock washer cuts into the nut, essentially preventing it from unscrewing. This is good from a safety standpoint, but makes changing the configuration really hard. I had to lock it into a bench vice and use a pipe wrench to get it off. 2. Not sure what happened, but first time I used it (to pull a rental trailer), the hitch pin fell out, causing the trailer to disconnect. Best I can figure is that the cotter pin popped off. Fortunately, I wasn't on the highway, and the safety chains kept the trailer attached. But it was pretty scary. I replaced it with a locking pin, and had no further issues.

was easy enough to install with the factory tow kit on my 17 Hyundai santa fe. Instruction pictures and installation video show ground (White) wire is connected to one of the electrical connectors. This was not the case as mine came with the white wire hanging loose, easy enough to install a ground connection to the frame as I did not know how to open the electrical connectors to attach the ground to the actual plug.

Quality product.

To be honest, I use it upside down. I needed a hitch with rise, but none were available at time of purchase, and yours, inverted, works perfectly! The welds are regularly checked and remain all secure. It's a good hitch.

Working in the sand and grass of my driveway my wife and I installed our new etrailer receiver hitch. Great fit and finish! Went right on as described in the online guide. Hitch required a spacer washer on top back bolt attachment point. Taped it on so it would not move while lifting in place and it stayed right there! Used a car jack to raise up and hold the hitch into the underside of the trunk tighten the bolts and reattached the tail pipe done. Now we can pull our Sunfish Sailboat any where the car will go.

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

This was a very easy installation. The custom fit design was exactly what I wanted. Wife and I installed it ourselves. Saved us hundreds of dollars and it looks professional. I bought the 1 7/8 and 2 inch combo so that switching between the two is as easy as pulling a pin. However, I didn't realize that I had to install the ball. I had to find someone with a wrench and torque wrench big enough to do it. Otherwise, excellent quality as usual from E-Trailer.

Retail type stores only carry mainstream items so when I needed a special length ball mount for my 2011 Traverse I found the size and quality with Curt Products .

Recently bought a Kubota RTV x900. The receiver is located under the bed. With the extra long ball hitch drawbar I can easily get to the drawbar and use a clevis to hitch my 5ft. wide mower or attach a ball and use the trailer. The pictures will illustrate the length of the drawbar which makes access very easy. The product is heavy duty and well made. Thank you etrailer for the quality products I received early last year. We needed a trailer hitch to install on our Subaru Forester for our move from Gig Harbor, WA to Spokane. We received the hitch hardware including the tow bar and electrical harness. The entire process took 4 hours. Purchased to extend the trailer away from the back of the vehicle, and increase the drop. Initially could not fit in to my receiver, eventually figured out that the end of the 2" square was mushroomed, had to remove excess metal with a rotary tool. now it fits as far as the first 5/8" pin hole. No issues with use - seems sturdy, metal finish seems durable. Didn't drop the trailer tongue as much as I had hoped, but that's on me - I was probably running a 3" drop before, but I thought it was 2".

Dual length to get past a spare tyre mounted to the rear door. The 1’ hole allows for a heavier grade of ball to be mounted. The product is well made and packaged.
