Swagman XTC2 Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
The Swagman XTC bike rack is quality. I had the rack assembled and placed on my 2017 Ford Escape in less than an hour. Assembly instructions are straight forward and easy to understand. Placing two bikes on the rack requires some adjustments. My Trek Silque road bike and Specialized Rockhopper fit well. Once the adjustments are made you won't have to make them again unless you're racking different bikes. Sturdiness is great. Front to back sway is nonexsistent while side to side sway is minimal. I've driven my bikes around quite a bit with no problems. Locking the rack to the hitch is an ongoing process. Right now Im using a small padlock where the hitch pin goes, but will probably go with the locking hitch that is available for the rack. Love this rack. One important issue. I was considering a hanging rack, but these racks don't always work well with women's frames since the frame needs to straight across to work best. This platform rack has worked best for me.
Just purchased the XTC for my new 2012 Ford Escape. Easy installation, minimal assembly. The assembly is a very sturdy platform for transporting bicycles. Excellent bike rack for the price! Had to go purchase an additional 1/2 inch lock washer which allows easier access to bolt head when mounting to the 1-1/4 hitch.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
I have not seen it cheaper anywhere. Very Sturdy and adaptable.
Very happy with my Thule hitch-mounted, four-bike rack. I used to worry about hauling two bikes on my old strap-on rack, but no more! I've yet to use it with four bikes, but it's handled one, two, and three bikes with ease. It's easy enough to install and un-install for one person, and a breeze with two. I've taken several camping trips during which I get stuff out of and put stuff into the back of my Ford Escape. The rack folds down quickly and easily to make this possible-- getting it almost completely out of the way. The one area that could be better is security. There's no way to lock the rack to the hitch nor the bikes to the rack.

Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
Easy to install, secure. Very pleased ! Perfect of my Ford Escape. I can mount it and the bike unassisted. My brother recommended it because he has had his for several years and loves it ! He purchased his from etrailer.com also.
Exactly what we wanted. This is our second one. Very easy to put together and install. The only issues with it were the time it took to deliver (it went out of stock, not their fault) and then watching the clearance to the hatch on the second car (Ford Escape). It's tight and it has a power hatch. Must not open with a bike on the back. But the rack itself is just fine, easy to assemble and incredibly easy to use.

Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
Could not be happier with the product and the service - moving from LA to Portland and we couldn't fit the bikes in the pod - so etrailer came to the rescue!
I assembled the Thule Passage 2 trunk bike rack but have not yet used it on the road. The Instructions for assembling the rack were very poorly written and presented. The drawings did not look like the parts in the box and Some items were listed but not in the box AND some items were not marked properly on the instructions diagram! Good grief! Get a proof reader! I hope the rack works better than the Instructions did.

Thule Passage 3 Bike Carrier - Trunk Mount
I have a 2003 Ford Escape and it fit perfectly! East to use and my bike is safe and secure. The only thing was it was recommended that I buy an extra bar if I had a girls bike - this was not needed for the kind of bike I have.
The rack arrived in a timely manner. Installation was easy. The unit seems very sturdy, but I have yet to take it foe a spin.

Saris Bones 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Seemingly well-constructed and supported bike rack. It fits my 2018 Toyota Camry SE just fine and I haven't had any issues with sway or even feeling my bike while driving. I've only carried one bike on it and have used it a limited number of times, so I cannot speak on durability and longevity. Although you shouldn't open your trunk while the rack is attached, I have been able to do so with no issue (without the bike attached).
While getting a bike rack for a sports car isn't ideal, I really wanted to transfer my bike with my own car instead of borrowing my friend's pickup truck. After hours of trying to find a bike rack that would be good for my 07 Mustang, I decided to give this one a try and I gotta say, it has been pretty good so far. It fits very well over the factory spoiler. One of my biggest concerns I was worried about when ordering a rack for my Mustang was ruining the paint, but the feet on the legs haven't left one scratch. I have used this to transfer my bike at freeway speeds (up to 80 mph) on car rides that typically last an hour and my bike was perfectly secure throughout each ride. For extra security, I wrapped both bike wheels with a ratchet strap so the wheels and pedals wouldn't shift in transit. So far, I am very pleased with this bike rack for the price and quality. I would highly recommend this if you want a rack that is affordable and durable.

Yakima HangOut 2 Bike Rack - Trunk Mount - Adjustable Arms
Got this for our 2013 Ford Escape for a 4 hour trip we were making on roads varying from highway to back roads. The installation is easy if you take the time to plan out the straps and follow the directions. Lots of rubber and padding to keep from scratching the car. It seemed pretty solid even with the sway. It was a little weird when we tightened things down the top bar came off the glass. It didn't affect the performance, but it did make for a little concern going down the road. If we loosened things up to keep the bar on the glass it was too loose to prevent sway.
Put rack on my 2015 Ford Escape and when I tried to open the rear door the clamps bent the door metal. I cannot use this on my car . The brackets are to thick to fit into the openings, both top and bottom The bike rack is useless on my car as it was sent to me

Rhino-Rack Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
My friend and I each bought this product and find the quality to be excellent. My complaint is that 2 bikes are not an easy fit. I wonder if the “cradles” can be separated more but it too difficult for me. Other than that I highly recommend this item

Swagman Trailhead Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting
The bike rack arrived in a timely manner and was easy to assemble and install. I am delighted with it!
Once again Kirstin was Awesome!!! She remembered who i was and was very friendly again. My wife and I have ordered multiple items from e-trailers, for our auto and motor coach, and the service is fabulous. The last order of the dual receiver and bike rack were placed on the road while driving and Kirstin was Spot on with her recommendation and product knowledge. Yes you may be able to find things cheaper out on the internet, but we highly recommend the service and knowledge of e-trailers. Will use e-trailers again and again as we travel.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
If you've done any research or read any of the other comments on either this rack, or this seller...rest assured they really are as good as everyone says! I ordered my rack on around 4pm est on a Friday afternoon and within an hour I received an email that said they have shipped my product AND upgraded to priority shipping. Can't say enough positive things about the customer service! When the rack arrived, it took me a little over half an hour to get it set up. Probably would e been faster if I were even slightly mechanically inclined (or if didn't I didn't have to borrow a socket wrench from my neighbor). We finally had an opportunity to load up the bikes and head out for a ride today. As others have said, the first time you load up your bikes, it's kind of like a puzzle to get them situated. Took about 15 minutes. This rack is awesome! Very sturdy and the bikes were very secure. Only racks I have had in the past were rooftop fork mount racks. This is so much easier! On e we got to the trail (over an hour drive) getting the bikes off was a piece of cake. Afterwards, it was time to load them back up and it was less than 5 minutes to get them all on and ready to hit the road. There were other 4-bike racks on the website, but this one had enough great reviews that I felt comfortable making the purchase. After the fact, I'm very glad I did! I can't imagine the $800 rack can be that much better than this, and I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4-bike platform rack. I will definitely recommend this rack and etrailer.com to everyone I know.
Loads and unloads bikes super fast, and holds them firm. Wish I would have purchased this a long time ago instead of struggling with my old frame mount rack. I actually ride more because I don't dread having to load. Adjusts to different bikes easily. Time will tell if the fittings, springs, straps hold up to weather (I leave it on car). It is fairly large and heavier than the more expensive 4 bike racks (it's mostly steel vs. composite plastic), so if you are going to take it off hitch and store it - be prepared. Only recommendation I have is to add softer foam on the frame bar for traveling on rough roads.

Kuat Beta Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Trailer Hitches - Tilting
I did a lot of research and decided this was the rack for me. I was totally correct. First, it has all the most important features but only weighs about 14 lbs. I was concerned as a senior lady with arthritis issues. I can use it well and it performed perfectly with an adapter bar for my Electra Townie. I have had compliments from several seasoned riders and a bike shop owner here at the beach who said it was great quality and I got a great price. Also purchased a locking trailer hitch pin with bike cable from etrailer. All over satisfaction with products and etrailer who provided enough videos to help me.
This product is exactly what I wanted. The 2" post fits in the reciever perfectly, and no wiggle. I did tighten the mounting screw, but didn't have to change the hardware I have already (locks). There are two more screws to reduce the wiggles at each pivot point, and there was little to begin with. I tend to test way beyond the breaking point, and did some aggressive driving with every bump across town to the first ride. All good and I won't worry while driving with the bike attached moving forward. Only thing I wish it had was a locking mechanism, but I used a wire cable and lock. The other comparable ones with a lock were 2X the price. I can use the additional lock if I have other plans than just a trail. Service has been outstanding and I will look for any future purchases of this kind to be through etrailer.
