Adam: What's going on everybody. Adam here with etrailer. Today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Aluminum Cargo Carrier on our 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe. So this Cargo Carrier is going to be about 60" long X 22" wide and these rails are going to sit up about 6" from our floor here but what really is going to set this Cargo Carrier apart from some of the others you guys may be looking at is the fact that it is almost all aluminum and it's actually only 18 pounds. So if you guys are one that's probably going to put this thing in and out of your hitch quite often, this is definitely going to be a great way to just relieve a lot of that stress on your knees and your back from lifting and everything like that. Very light but it still gets that 500 pounds of weight capacity that everybody's wanting.

Hi, everybody, Adam, with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer XXL cargo basket on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe. So this cargo carrier is going to measure about 80 inches long by 35 inches wide. And these rails on the side are going to stick up about eight inches. And you did hear me right, it is 80 inches long. This is an extremely big cargo carrier, but we have a relatively bigger car so we have a lot of passengers.



Surco Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe

Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the Surco 24x60 Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Hitches, part number 52018. To begin our test fit, we'll start off by installing the carrier onto the vehicle. We'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, insert our pin through our pin holes, and secure with a clip on the other side. Now that the carrier is secure to the vehicle, we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the cargo carrier and this vehicle will fit together. From the back of the carrier, there's about 22 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 4 inches.

Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe, we'll be test fitting the 23x56 Rola Dart Cargo Carrier for 2 inch Hitches rated at 450 pounds, part number 59550. Now begin our test fit, we'll start off by installing the carrier onto the vehicle. We'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, throw on our anti-rattle bolt through the pin holes, and tighten with a wrench. Now we'll go over a few clearance measurements to see how the cargo carrier and this vehicle will fit together. With the platform folded up, we have about 22 inches of ground clearance from the rear. Now to begin our test fit we'll start off by installing the carrier onto the vehicle. We'll slide the shank of the carrier into the receiver opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, insert our pin through our pin holes and secure with the clip on the other side.We'll now go over a few clearance measurements to see how the cargo carrier and this vehicle will fit together. The ground clearance here at the back of the carrier measures 25 inches. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about ten inches. Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe well be test fitting the Curt 24 x 60 Folding Cargo Carrier for 2-inch hitches rated at 500 pounds part number c18132. Now to begin our test fit well start off by installing the carrier on to the vehicle. Well slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of our hitch, line up our pin holes, insert our pin through our pin holes, and secure with the clip on the other side. Well now go over a few clearance measurements. With the platform folded up we have about 22 inches of ground clearance. The closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about 6 inches.

With the cargo carrier folded up we have about 20 inches of ground clearance at the rear. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part vehicle here at the rear bumper is about two inches.

Today on our 2013 Chevy Tahoe we'll be test fitting the Curt 20x48 Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4 and 2 Inch Hitches, part number c18145. To begin our test fit we'll start off by sliding the carrier on to the vehicle. We'll slide the shank of the carrier into the opening of the hitch, line up our pin holes, thread our ant-rattle bolt through the pins and tighten with a wrench.Now with the cargo carrier secured to the vehicle we'll go over a few clearance measurements. For the back of the carrier there is about 22 inches of ground clearance. Closest part of the carrier to the closest part of the vehicle here at the rear bumper is about four inches. We have added 23 inches to the overall length of the vehicle.
