24x60 Reese Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
Super sturdy and also super heavy. My towing hitch has a 400 Pound Tongue Weight rating and this thing weights about 70 pounds which left me only 330 pound carrying capacity. 330 pounds is just barely enough for me to carry my mother in law and her luggage when i have t pick her up from the airport.
Awesome product! easy to put together and carries so much gear without impacting gas mileage. I got the light kit so I can really load it but it rides so low with my Subaru Outback they're not really needed.

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 39" Wide
I am very happy with both the initial quality of the Load Warrior and how nice the eTrailer people are to deal with... The product seems well thought out and there are a bunch of accessories to mount most anything...
This product fits my 2014 Subaru outback perfectly. It look like it was made for this vehicle. I actually believe this is the same rack you can purchase through Subaru with a faring that says Subaru instead of Yakima. It looks great and adds function and utility

Thule Canyon XT Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
Excellent basket! Very well made. High quality equipment. Taking a star off because it should have included locking cores at the price.
My Thule cargo basket has a real slick yet sturdy design. Strong, loads of space, good finish, and more tie down points than I have ratchet straps. Takes my Outback from being a boring family wagon to a cool trekking machine. While I did encounter initial issues with parts fit, etrailer was immediately responsive and took care to ensure it all worked out. Genuine five stars for service, thank you etrailer!

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 47" Long x 35" Wide - 165 lbs
Have not hauled anything since installed but it looks great and is solid. When at freeway speeds I can faintly hear the wind whistling through it but I expected that.
Very high quality. Installed in about an hour. Extremely satisfied.

17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs
We're very happy with this purchase; it's spacious and easy to install. We have a Subaru Outback. Combined with a rooftop carrier, we were able to move all of our daughter's things into her college dorm in one trip!
Product fits just right on our 2011 Subaru Outback. Combined with the anti-rattle lock and etrailer cargo bag; a great combination. Rain and snow and no leaks. Just right...

Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Matte Black
We love this rooftop carrier. It is roomy, lightweight, and very easy to mount onto the factory cross-bars of our 2012 Subaru Outback. We've driven it through rain and had no issues with water infiltration although I believe they have disclaimers that it is not waterproof. It is large enough to fit our full size baby stroller (folded up of course) along with beach umbrellas, sleeping bags, etc.
Love this Rooftop box! It's easy to install & remove, and very secure. It compliments our Outback, as well, in appearance.

20x47 Reese Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
Super sturdy and also super heavy. My towing hitch has a 400 Pound Tongue Weight rating and this thing weights about 70 pounds which left me only 330 pound carrying capacity. 330 pounds is just barely enough for me to carry my mother in law and her luggage when i have t pick her up from the airport.
This Reese Cargo Carrier worked great! Our adult daughter put it together herself with no problems. It worked great on the back of our Subaru Outback on our weeklong trip. We look forward to using it for many more years.

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide x 4" Deep - 150 lbs
Nice looking carrier and holds a good amount of cargo. It would be nice to have a better mounting system that does not interfere with the bottom of the carrier. Overall, it fit our needs well.
Great product and easy to assemble. We mounted this on a 2021 Subaru Outback.

Would highly recommend these products Service was amazing !

Rhino-Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket - 57" Long x 42" Wide - 165 lbs
Great product and easy to put together and install by myself. Cant wait to use it on our upcoming camping trip.
The rack is excellent, sturdy, just what I wanted. The order and delivery process were superb. I think e-trailer has excellent service. My only minor complaint is that the assembly instructions could be much better. Simply a few pictures, with no words is not really adequate. e-trailer's video helped a bit, but still putting some of the minor pieces together takes more guesstimates and multiple tries.

Yakima OffGrid Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 44" Long x 40" Wide - 165 lbs
The Yakima OffGrid medium rack arrived yesterday at about 10:30 a.m. It was fully unpacked/assembled/installed by about 11:45. etrailer did a fine job of communicating/pricing/delivering and supporting this good product. I've been using Yakima products (and others) for biking, paddling, fishing etc. for about 45 years. This rack is a serious solution to a variety of uses of a roof rack. I will be able to use it on various vehicles and for a number of applications (sports, chores, travel etc.) It has more flexibility than most racks and I can't imagine a more durable, quality design. My particular needs, being in my "Dotage", are met by the ability to remove the cross bars and fairing for an open platform, or keep them on and custom fit to a spare tire, or bike rack, kayak rack etc. The attaching mechanisms drew my attention. I put this on the car with solo and with caution using a protective mat. It is very manageable and easy to fit. These mechanisms for tightening down on the crossbars bring the added value (and cost) to folks like me that don't want to spend a lot of time and effort installing a rooftop rack. I wanted secure, solid attachment with simplicity. The OffGrid delivers! No pain killers needed after the install! This "Medium" OffGrid is more than adequate for my initial uses. The internal and external dimensions are pretty much ideal for this 2017 Sienna. A full size spare tire will fit just right. A nice fit for a canoe as well. I admit to scouring the internet and considering dozens of products from baskets to platforms and this OffGrid showed a lot of promise. Its versatility and ruggedness competes with the best designs at about half the price of many. My thoughts included the extension bracket, but the medium OffGrid really does meet most of my expectations and needs for various applications. Now, to the matter of noise. There is wind noise. However, for me, it simply blends into the symphony of white noise that comes with highway travel (and the ringing in my ears) :)......Of all the racks, bikes, canoes, kayaks ladders, lumber, etc., etc. that I have carried on car tops, the wind sounds of this carrier are negligible. The fairing is a nice, well thought out feature that works well. So, my five star rating is for both the product and the vendor. Once again "eTrailer" has proven themselves to be one of the best sources of such products nationwide. Their product information efforts are an industry leader and they deserve credit for providing extremely helpful product reviews and explanations. That's what got me to choose them on this purchase. Those of us well into our "Dotage" appreciate learning all we can!

Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide x 7-1/4" Tall - 150 lbs
Exactly what I ordered exactly the advertised size and here early!
2016 Subaru Outback. Product fitment and instructions were amazing. Very easy to install and took almost no time at all. Probably close to 30 minutes or so. Very pleased. If you're considering this product, I would recommend giving Greg a call. He helped me out tremendously.

Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 Rooftop Cargo Box - 14 cu ft - Black
I've taken one 1500 mile trip so far with the Yakima RocketBox Pro 14 mounted on my RAV4. I found the box to be quiet and not to have much impact on gas mileage. I lost maybe 1 mpg with it mounted to my flush mounted Whisperbars. I drove through some very heavy rain and had a minimal amount of water inside under a thin rubber mat I had placed on the bottom of the box; none on my luggage got wet. This box works great to give me more carrying capacity when traveling with my two crated Dobermans.
Terrible build quality , crooked label, lock /latch does not work unless I remove backplate, after a couple times of opening and closing rivet came off latch. For $[XX] would think bettet quality. Seems like Harbor Freight

Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 cu ft - Black AeroSkin
Prefect fit cargo box for 19 subaru outback. Customer service is amazing to work with and helpful on products.
Customer service was excellent and shipping was right on time. I use this cargo holder to transport a large dog crate and a grooming table across the country. I've found this to be more than up to the challenge of not only holding what I need but when mounting and dismounting the carrier. I carry a small stepladder in my car to assist me. It only takes me 5 minutes to mount or dismount this unit from my Outback. Caution...It's a bit awkward to carry this alone into the garage or out to the car due to car the size of the unit, not the weight. Just plan ahead and you'll be ok.

19x47 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs
i purchased this last week to help keep the inside of my Outback clean. my husband put it together while watching tv, so assembly was easy. so far it has been used to take yard debris to the transfer station and to pick up bags of gravel and top soil. it seems very sturdy as long as you tighten the bolt with a ratchet--otherwise it is a little wobbly. we have an old thule bike rack with the same issue, so we keep a ratchet in the car. it does not weigh too much, so storage and on-and-off is easy.
Excellent value and utility. Clear and easy instructions. Assembly was quick. Great that it fits on both a 1-1/4 or 2-inch hitch. The accompanying threaded hitch pin keeps carrier wiggle free. Only suggestions—Secure bright orange poles (or other hitch aligner sticks) on back ends so you see them in your rear view mirror and drivers behind you are alerted to your extension. I bolted mine on through a side hole and used a cable tie to keep them from rotating. And for those concerned, get a short cable lock for security. Thread it through the receiver chain slots and one of the side holes of the cargo carrier.

Yakima SkyBox 21 Rooftop Cargo Box - 21 cu ft - Black Carbonite
I love the product, it fit on my friend's 2022 Subaru Outback, but on my 2023 Outback I can't open the rear door all the way - it touches the back of the Skybox. I'll glue some foam padding on the back of the box, but you might want advise 2023 owners of this.
It took awhile to get the skybox in stock but etrailer stayed on top of it and kept me informed every step of the way. I know supply chains are delayed everywhere but they never gave up. Special shout out to Erica at etrailer.

Curt Hitch Cargo Carrier Review - 2012 Subaru Outback Wagon
Today, on our 2012 Subaru Outback, we're doing a test fit of the 20x60 Curt Cargo Carrier, part # is C18150. We already have it on our vehicle, just going to show you a few features of it. The first feature I like to shohw is the mesh bottom, with a mesh bottom, you should keep all your dirt and debris out of your cargo. It also has a nice black powder coat, that's going to help from rust and corrosion, and it can hold up to 500 pounds. Let's go ahead and take a couple of measurement, first will be overall distance added to our vehicle, and I'm looking at 29" here, our closest point right here, that's going to be 8", and then for our ground clearance, I'm looking at 14" right up under here. With the 2012 Subaru Outback, the exhaust system is on your driver's side and is pointing downward, so just keep that in mind if you have any heat-sensitive material that you want to place it toward the middle or even the passenger side itself. When the cargo carrier is empty in this position, you can get in and out of your hatch, but we always want to give you the break point when you're loading up your cargo carrier that you may not want to go past. I'm looking at 22", so just keep that in mind when you're loading up your cargo carrier, that you go any higher than that, you won't be able to get in and out of your hatch. This cargo carrier is equipped for 2" hitches only, it does not come with the pin and clip, you can find those on our website, that Part # is PC3.
