Thule Passage Trunk Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Hanging Style
I just assembled it and put it on my Dodge Grand Caravan last night. Took about a 5 mile ride with it this morning to see how it was doing. Seems to be fine. I've tightened all straps as tight as possible. The side clips seem to have a little play along the sides of the hatchback door but everything appears and seems to be solid. Even with the straps tightened all the way, you can still move/pull on them a bit, because they are nylon, so even though they seem to be secure now, I will check them at different intervals to see if they are retaining their hold. The sway bar option was a nice addition and I also cut some Velcro straps to tie down both wheels and the handle bars from swinging. Another nice surprise was that I was still able to open my rear van door with the bike rack attached. I would say, all in all, this is a great sturdy design and as long as I use due diligence to watch for any loosening of the straps over time, I should be just fine!
I just returned from a 3 week vacation where two small bikes were attached with my cruiser bike on the rack. It worked fantastically well. It is easy to attach to the van and is tightly secured. Putting the straps around and under the spoiler was a great idea on your part. This is a great bike rack for the Dodge Grand Caravan 2013! Swagman Upright Bike Rack for 1 Bike - Roof Rack Crossbars - Frame Mount
Planning on bringing bikes while camping. I mounted 2 of the Swagman bike racks to my new Sportrack on my pop-up camper. The bikes fit perfectly. The racks seem sturdy enough. Not heavy duty, but for my needs they should be fine. Assembly was relatively fast and easy.

Thule Hitching Post Pro Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches
Received the product today with two major flaws. First, the Stinger was missing the whole for the pivot Bolt. There was basically a hole in each end of the Stinger but none at the bend where the horizontal and vertical tubes meet. I called customer service and explain the problem. The CS rep was not well educated and after giving him the part number for the 4th time, he finally pulled up the correct schematic. He informed me that I would need to return the entire track for warranty. That is not going to happen. I drilled the hole myself and continued. Then I found that the bike rack would not tilt fully because one of the plastic inserts on the horizontal tube of the Stinger was in the way. No way to fully extend or Tilt The Bike Rack unless I removed part of the plastic cap in the end of the horizontal tinger. After cutting Away part of the cap, the bike rack tilted to its full capacity. Haven't used it yet but based on what I've seen thus far, I am disappointed in the quality and would hesitate to buy another.
Easy to install, took maybe 5 minutes to put together. Seems to be very sturdy. Putting bikes on was very easy.

Swagman XTC4 Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
This is the second one i have bought, one for myself, and another for a friend. ...I have had excellent results with this rack and it keeps the bikes safe and secure. ...And it also is very easy and quick to load and unload the bikes.
So far I’ve just assembled it and took a quick test drive around the block. My initial thought is this thing is perfect. It’s super sturdy and easy to use. My only gripe and it’s not fault of the rack, but it’s heavy…

Curt Bike Rack for 5 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
It was obvious that we received a product that was returned by someone else when the box was overly taped shut, a support collar was broken, and most of the pieces were out of their ripped plastic bags. However, it was a great price to hold 5, 26" and/or 27" Trek bikes. I used a piece of the broken collar and went ahead and assembled the rack. Due to the weight of the 5 bikes it did not wobble that much when driving, as one of the bike tires was up against my car. I can only imagine that if we received an untampered product that this review would have been 5 stars. The picture is a little hard to see, but there are 5 Trek bikes on the rack on my 2020 Toyota Seinna.
We received a damaged box, damaged items, no instructions, the nuts and bolts are completely stripped and not inside a bag. This was obviously used, returned, not checked for quality and sent out. We are extremely upset.

Curt 2 Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount - Tilting
Bought to use for a trip from upstate NY to Daytona Beach FL Attached to my 2” receiver hitch on my Dodge Caravan CV. Easy to set-up and hitch. Mounted two bikes no problems! Tilt and fold-up features came in handy for opening the hatch during the trip and keeping rake on but out of the way while in Daytona. Made the trip both ways and way unnoticeable while driving. Would definitely recommend this product!!
We are so happy with our new bike rack and hitch. My husband was able to bolt the hitch on without help. It was delivered within two days. The bikes fit securely on the rack. We love it!!!!! Can't wait to take our bikes on vacation with our new bike rack!!! Thanks so much!!!!

SportRack Ridge Swing 4 Bike Rack - 2" Hitches - Swinging
Unit doesn't fit a Jeep Rubicon with a spare tire. I tried 4 times and contacted etrailer.com that the unit doesn't work as sold and they offered to sell me a 7 3/4 extension and reduce the load capacity 50%. The length of the 2" hitch needs to be 3" longer for a standard Rubicon to get past the spare. You not going to want to take your spare tire off for the hitch to work. It defeats the purpose. Customer service was excellent, however the product is a flawed design. Can't recommend this hitch. Its also heavy.
Solid rack for half the price of the name brands. Don’t waste your money! Thanks to the extensive reviews on etrailer and a free shipping promotion I took a chance and ordered this along with the three of their crossbars, anti rattle hitch pin and cable lock. All for well less than the name brand rack alone. Shipping was painful. Etrailer said it was in stock but then due to a delay with the manufacturer it took 35 days from order to arrival. I wasn’t in a hurry so I waited patiently, and etrailer reps emailed often to lmk they hadn’t forgotten. I thought some kind of reward for my extreme patience was in order- discount, gift card, free bag of chips- but they politely declined. Oh well. In the end it arrived when they (eventually) said it would, all in one box, in great shape. The rack was super easy to assemble. You’ll need a ratchet or two and you’ll need to crank those bolts to assemble- they don’t just “insert.” But otherwise it’s only a few steps; I had mine hanging on my truck in probably 15 minutes. Swings away and locks smoothly and requires no effort to do so. Everything feels quite sturdy and well made. No rattle on initial test drive either. This will be a once in a while rack at best for our family of four. We have two SUVs so I needed a rack that could get out of the way of the rear hatch WITH bikes on it. This will do that. And now I don’t need to stuff four dirty bikes into the back of my truck, getting them all tangled and scratched!

The rack worked out perfect for our shuttle up and down the mountain. It held all 4 of our 29ers with tires that are 2.5in wide

Curt Bike Rack for 4 Bikes - 2" Hitches - Tilting
This rack has worked well for us. I fits the Curt hitch perfectly. It is easy to attach bicycles securely. We can get three adult bicycles on this hitch (see photo). There are sufficient means to protect against sway.
After less than one year, and only 5 or 6 uses, the threaded stabilizer--the one just below the spring-loaded, T-shaped handle used for tilting the mast--stripped out the hole it passes through in the body of the rack. Now my rack wobbles like crazy. I'm still within the warranty period, but in order to get it fixed, I have to return the entire bike rack and cover the return shipping . I'll just keep the broken rack and find a way to deal with the issue. Hopefully you have a better experience than me.

Swagman XC-Extended Bike Rack for 2 Recumbent Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount
I have bad shoulders and could no longer lift my long wheelbase recumbent bike up to my Thule rack. The new rack solved the problem and made it much easier to load the bike. Very happy I got the new Swagman rack.

Yakima FrontLoader Wheel Mount Bike Carrier - Roof Mount
Overall I am happy with these bike carriers. They mount to the racks over the bed of my Tundra TRD Pro. Installation is simple. I think they could be just a bit sturdier because there is just a bit of wobbling when driving on bumpy roads but I'm not too worried about them coming dislodged. Take note that although they come with a cable lock to attach the bike to the carrier, the key is sold separately.
Very good product. It holds the bike securely on the roof without contacting the frame. It is easy to adjust from my road bike to my 29er mountain bike. Our drives are all relatively short, so I like that I do not need to remove the front wheel to lock in the bike. It's also nice that the SKS locking system allows me to use the same key for this rack that I use for my Yakima roof box and hitch rack. This is my first roof rack and I chose this route for a couple reasons. Some of the roads we travel to get to our trail heads are a bit rough and with a roof rack I don't have to worry about bottoming out a hitch rack hanging off the back of the vehicle. Also, it takes up less room in the garage. Our vehicle is a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee with an additional 4 inches of ground clearance. That makes it a bit of a reach for my 5'4" wife, so we take our two-step along to help her. This is my third time purchasing from etrailer, and each experience has been very good. They are a very customer service oriented company. I really appreciate all the additional information they provide on their products, especially all the videos they produce to aid in reviews, assembly, and use.
Thule Vertex 4 Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan
Today, on our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan we'll be test fitting the Thule Vertex four-bike carrier for 1-1/4 and 2-inch hitches, part number TH9029.With our vehicle equipped with a 2-inch hitch and our bike rack already pre-assembled, we'll go ahead and slide the bike rack shank directly into the receiver tube of the hitch lining up the hitch pinhole.Then, we'll install and tighten down the anti-rattle bolt. This is what our bike rack will look like in its stored position.Next, we'll go ahead and give you a few measurements. From the nearest point of the bumper to the nearest point of the base of the rack is 1 inch. With our bike rack in the stored position we add an additional 10 inches to the overall vehicle length, and from the lowest point of the bike rack we have 10-1/2 inches of ground clearance.Next, we'll go ahead and use the hitch switch at the base of the rack to tilt it away from the vehicle to gain rear cargo access. As you can see, with the bike rack tilted away from the vehicle we can still gain full rear cargo access.Now let's go ahead and close the door. We'll put our bike rack back into the upright locked position and use the hitch switch at the top of the mast to extend the carrying arms.
Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan
Today, on our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan were going to be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro folding and tilting four-bike carrier for inch-and a-quarter and 2-inch hitches, part number TH934XTR. For our vehicle equipped with a 2-inch hitch and our bike rack already pre-assembled, we can go ahead and slide the bike rack shank directly into the receiver tube of the hitch and lining up the hitch pinhole. Then, well install and tighen down our anti-rattle bolt. With our anti-rattle bolt tighened down you can see it really takes out any movement between the bike rack and the vehicle. Now lets go ahead and take a few measurements. From the nearest point of the bumper to the nearest point of the security loop we have 4 inches of clearance, and with our bike rack installed in the stored position we add an additional 15 inches to the overall vehicle length, and from the end of the bike rack we have 10 inches of ground clearance.
Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan
Today, on our 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan were going to be test fitting the Pro Series Q-Slot platform style two-bike carrier for inch-and-a-quarter and 2-inch hitches, part number PS63134. With our vehicle equipped with a 2-inch hitch and our bike rack already pre-assembled, we can go ahead and slide the bike rack shank directly into the receiver tube of the hitch and install the anti-rattle bolt and install the pin and clip.Next, well go ahead and give you a few clearance measurements.From the closest point of the bumper to the closest point of the rack we have 5-1/2 inches. With our rack installed we can add an additional 22 inches to the overall length of the vehicle, and from the bottom of the bike rack we have 12-3/4 inches of ground clearance. Next, well go ahead and lower the platform on the rack and the center support bar. This will allow us rear cargo access. As you can see, with the bike platform down and the center suppor bar out of the way we still gain rear cargo access.
