Hey, everybody. Jared from etrailer.com. Today, I wanna talk about the Kuat Transfer V2 single bike system here on this 2007 Honda Pilot. Now right off the bat, you could see this is actually kind of a nice looking bike rack. I love the idea that it is wheel mount, which means you can get most of your bigger bikes on here. Including those carbon frame bikes that you don't want that to touch and hold onto by the frame with any of your elements of your bike rack.



Yakima FullTilt Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Yakima FullTilt 4-Bike Rack, part number Y02462. We'll begin our test-fit by inserting the shank of the rank into the hitch of our vehicle. You'll want to keep a finger on the anti-rattle device to make sure it slides in smoothly. You'll notice here the self-locking hitch pin. We'll go ahead and push that in until it locks into our main hitch pin there. We'll then tighten the anti-rattle device here at the base of the mask. This will help take any extra play out of the shank of the rack.



Thule Vertex Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today, on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Vertex 4 Bike Rack for inch and a quarter and 2 inch hitches, part number TH9029. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our Pilot. We'll then want to watch for the hitch pinholes to line up. With that in line, we can take the included, anti-rattle hitch bolt and throw that into place. We'll go ahead and get that as tight as we can by hand and then we'll finish it off with a wrench. This'll help to take any extra play out of the shank of our rack. Now, the closest part of the rack to the vehicle is going to be the bottom here. That's going to measure about 3 inches from the bumper.



Thule Helium Aero Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Thule Helium Aero 2-Bike Rack for 1 1/4 inch and two-inch hitches, part number TH9042. We'll begin our test-fit by inserting the shank of our rack into our hitch. You'll want to go ahead and pull the hitch pin out. Insert it into our hitch, and then it will snap into place. We can then tighten down the anti-rattle knob here. This will help to take any extra play out of the shank of our rack. As you can see, we're nice and tight there.



Saris Thelma Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Thelma 3-Bike Platform Style Rack, part number SA4239B. We'll begin our test-fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. We're going to go ahead and align up the hitch pinholes. We can then insert our threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt. We'll go ahead and get this hand tight, and then we can finish it off with our wrench. Tightening this bolt down helps to relieve any extra movement there is in the shank of our rack. Well then take the clip; insert that on the other side.



Saris Freedom SuperClamp Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot we're going to be test fitting the Saris Freedom SuperClamp 2 bike platform style rack for 1 1/4"and 2" hitches, part number SA4025. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. You'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. With those in line you can then take the included anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. We'll go ahead and get that hand tight. Once we've got it tightened down all the way by hand, we can finish it off with our wrench. This will help to take any extra slack out of the shank of the rack.



Saris Axis Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Axis 3-Bike Rank 4-1/4" and 2" hitches part number SA843B. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of our rack into the hitch of our vehicle. With that inserted, we'll want to watch for the hitch pinholes to line up. We can take the included anti rattle hitch lock bolt, thread that into place and tighten it by hand. Once we have it tightened down all the way by hand, we'll go ahead and finish it off with our wrench. This helps to take the extra play out of the shank of our rack. We'll then insert the lock on the other side. With our rack in this position, the closest part to the vehicle is going to be the back of the mast. That measures about 5-1/2" from our bumper. Our ground clearance is going to be about 15-1/4". Overall, to the rear of the vehicle, we've added about 12". A nice feature of this rack is that it does tilt away from the back of the vehicle. We'll pull the yellow T handle and tilt it down.

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot we're going to be test fitting the Saris Access 2-bike rack for inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. Part number SA832. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. Now the adapter is removable so you might want to keep a hand on that to make sure it slides in. You'll then want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. With that in line we can take the included threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt and secure it into place. We'll go ahead and get that hand tight and then we can finish it off with our wrench. This helps remove any extra play from the shank of the rack which helps eliminate movement going down the road. We'll insert the clip onto the other side of the hitch bolt.



Swagman Titan Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Titan 4-bike rack for 1-1/4" and 2" hitches, part number S63410. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our vehicle. With that inserted, you'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. We can then take the included anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. After getting that high and tight, you can go ahead and take your wrench and finish it off. This helps take any extra play out of the shank of the rack. We'll go ahead and insert the clip on the other side.

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test-fitting the Yakima StickUp 2-Bike platform style rack for inch and a quarter inch and two-inch hitches. Part number Y02420. We'll being our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. We're going to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. You may have to wiggle the rack around a little bit to get it in the right place. We can then take the threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread it into place.



Softride Dura Parallelogram Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot we're going to be test fitting the Softride Dura Parallelogram 4-Bike Rack for 2 inch hitches, part number SR26247. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into our hitch. We'll want to watch for the hitch pin hole to line up. The hitch pin holes are located on the passenger side of the vehicle for this particular rack. We can then take the included threaded anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. Lift this up a little bit more.

Today, on our 2007 Honda Pilot, we're going to be test fitting the Saris Freedom 4 Bike platform style rack for 2 inch hitches, part number SA4414B. We'll begin our test fit by inserting the shank of the rack into the hitch on our vehicle. With that in, you'll want to watch for the hitch pin holes to line up. We'll then take the included anti-rattle hitch bolt and thread that into place. We'll get this as tight as we can by hand, and then we'll finish it off with our wrench. Tightening this down helps to take any extra play out of the shank of the rack, which helps eliminate movement overall, going down the road. As you can see, we're nice and snug, so we'll insert the clip on the other side. With our rack in this position, the closest point of contact is going to be here With this mast to the bumper, that's going to measure about six and 3 quarter inches from the rear of the vehicle. Our ground clearance is going to be about 16 inches at the bottom of the shank, and overall to the rear of the vehicle, we've added about 17 inches. We'll go ahead and tilt our rack down. We'll pull the lever here on top so we can tilt it down into the loading position. As you can see, we can easily open our rear hatch to load any extra cargo you might be taking along. We'll pull the yellow T-handle here, and we can rotate the mast into position. It'll lock there, so we'll go ahead and undo our wheel straps.



Thule Hitching Post Pro Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today we have a 2007 Honda Pilot and were going to be test fitting the Thule Hitching Post Pro part number th934xtr. To mount the bike rack to our vehicle first were going to insert the shank into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up our hitch pinhole, thread in our anti rattle bolt and tighten it down using a three quarter inch wrench. Once the bike is securely in the hitch then were going to check for rear vehicle access. Well pull the pin at the base of the bike rack and tilt it down. Well open the cargo door of our Pilot to make sure we can still have access to the cargo area with the bike rack on the vehicle.



Thule Doubletrack Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today we have with us the Thule Doubletrack Platform-Style Bike Carrier, part number TH990XT, and well be test fitting it on a 2007 Honda Pilot. To mount the Bike Carrier to our vehicle, well insert the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of out hitch and line up the hitch pinholes. Well thread in our anti-rattle bolt, snug it down with the -inch wrench and secure it on the opposite site with a lock. Next, were going to check some clearance measurements. Weve got about 4 inches of clearance between the farthest part of our vehicle and the closest point of the bike rack. Weve got about 14 inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the rack to the ground; and overall, weve added about 11 inches of length to the vehicle.



Pro Series Q-Slot Hitch Bike Rack Review - 2007 Honda Pilot

Today on our 2007 Honda Pilot well be test fitting the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform-style bike rack part number ps63134. To mount the bike rack to our vehicle well insert the shank of the rack into the receiver tube of the hitch. Well line up the hitch pin hole, insert our pin and secure it with a clip on the other side. Once weve done that well check some clearance measurements. We have about eight inches of clearance from the furthest point of our vehicle to the closest point of the bike rack. We have about 14 and three quarter inches of ground clearance from the bottom of the bike rack to the ground.
