Today we're going to take a look at the rear view safety wireless back-up camera system with the cigarette light adapter. This is a convenient and easy installation with the digital wireless back-up camera system. This back-up camera system is going to be installed as a supplement aid to your standard rear view mirror that already exists in your vehicle. The 4.3 sized monitor will connect straight to your cigarette lighter, comes with a nice suction cup mount for easy mounting. This part will include everything shown here on the table. It includes the monitor with the 12-volt power plug, the monitor mount, the back-up camera, the transmitter, the power cable, piece of double sided tape for the transmitter to mount to with, and a product installation manual. The monitor is a size 4.3 TFT LCD color monitor.
This will plug into your vehicle's 12-volt accessory outlet for power. The mount is a nice easy suction cup mounting, and if you'll notice the mount has many different positions you can put it in. If you just loosen this handle right here, you can see that it'll rotate. This will move up or down, so variable positions you could put it in. The way this suction works is, you see this lever right here If you push down on it, it'll form a suction to hold it into place, and flip it up to release it. You'll see this the way it attaches to the monitor, you just slide this right up in there and then tighten this large thumb screw down and it'll hold the monitor to the mount and then do all your adjustments.
Now the monitor itself has distance grid lines on it to let you know how close you are to an object. Now those grid lines are optional, they can be turned on or off. The wireless back-up camera, that's this right here, this will connect to your clearance light circuit in your vehicle. This has a 130 degree viewing angle. It is a digital wireless connection, which guarantees no interference up to 70 feet so that you get the best picture all the time. Also includes nine infrared lights in it to provide night vision up to 30 feet in total darkness.
The camera is IT68 rated, which means it keeps out dirt and moisture, and it is shock resistant with a 10G impact vibration rating. The transmitter right here with the antenna connector will connect to your vehicle's reverse light circuit. So what I'm going to do now, is I'm gonna go ahead and plug it into a 12-volt power supply. I just want to show you how the monitor looks. Now when you plug it in, you'll notice there's a red light that shows you have power and then what you'll need to do to turn the system on- there's a middle button right here, you just hold that middle button down for about three seconds. One, two, three.
Now you'll see your picture comes on. We're gonna zoom in here, and if we zoom in enough, there you can see the grid lines. The grid lines they are in color, the greens are farthest away, the yellow as you get closer, the red when you get too close. As I mentioned, you can take those off the screen if you don't want to see the grid lines. Go ahead and zoom back out. I'll go ahead and detach it from our power supply. That should do it for the review on the rear view safety wireless back-up camera system with the cigarette lighter adapter.

Greg, the salesman, recommended this unit. I received it in two days. I wanted to pull my boat behind my camper and be able to see it. The unit was relatively easy to install (even for a 74 year old). I wired it to the running lights so it would transmit full time when the running lights are on. It does a great job. Thanks Greg! 562669
It is good when it works! It works for about 10% of the time and then cuts out and goes blue. I am only going 24' with it and have moved the transmitter to 5 different positions in the trailer and still same out come. Will be returning and going to a wired system that i hope is better! 861284
Works 80% of the time. sometimes when I put my truck in reverse, the rearview camera does not come on. I usually have to recycle the on off button. Otherwise, it works as advertised. 818891
Terrible product, it’s probably more distracting having the monitor on the dash because it is always turning off and on from losing the signal. I have tried moving the transmitter to different locations to try to get it to work better, with no luck. I wish there was a way to return this worthless product, but I am past the return date. I would not recommend this product. 817610
I like this backup camera. I use it to monitor my boat trailer, which I pull behind my 33' 5th wheel trailer. The only negative I have found is the somewhat limited wireless range, between the sending unit and the monitor. Even though it claims there is no interference up to 70', my signal experiences periodic cutout when traveling on the road. I have the sending unit at the rear of my 33' trailer, which I pull with a quad cab Dodge with a 8' bed. I still wouldn't travel without it, but it can be annoying at times. 804345
