Hello everybody, this is Jeff for etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Bulldog A-Frame Collar-Lok Coupler, with the low profile latch. Fits a two-inch hitch ball, has a 7,000 pound weight capacity. Now this is a nice heavy duty coupler. It's ideal for utility, livestock, cargo, any construction trailers. This one has a collar lock design, so it offers an automatic continuously tight fit for absolute security.
They use the hinge ball sock here, makes hookup a snap. And if you notice, it includes this, tethered safety pinning clip to keep the socket locked around the ball. This is made of a high strength steel, which is very durable, has a nice gray finish to it. And if you notice right back here, it'll have the built in jack attachment point, which allows for a quick, easy mounting of a round utility jack. The diameter of this hole opening is two and a quarter inches.
So most of your round utility jacks will fit right in there. Has the standard bolt pattern, which will fit most of the jacks. And I'll give you a visual indication of proper closure, provides an additional peace of mind. We mentioned the low-profile latch right here is very easy to use, and sleek in appearance, but basically what you would do is just unhitch your clip here, slide your pin out, and again, it's tethered, so you won't lose it. And then to open that if you just rotate this latch, and you push that latch all the way back, it slides that collar off, and then it has a spring loaded hinge ball socket, right here.
That'll go over your two inch ball. Once it goes over your two inch ball, and all you have to do is push this back, in it's spring loaded. You push that back in, slide your collar up over that, and it'll lock it into place. And then once you get it locked over the ball, just go ahead and take your pin for safety, slide it through the hole, clip it on the other side, and you're all set, ready to go. Simple as that.
A few specs on this, this is designed to fit a 50 degree A-Frame trailer tongue. The ball size it fits on is a two inch diameter ball. Total length on this part from back here to very tip, is going to be right at 16 inches. And again, the weight capacity is 7,000 pounds. But that should do it for the review on the Bulldog A-frame Collar-Lok Coupler, with the low-profile latch for a two inch ball. has a 7,000 pound weight capacity..
Exactly what I needed.
Delivered on time at a fair price.

Works perfectly. Great service! Thank you.
Works fine.....should last forever.
Works perfectly
Way better than the original one I cut off. Much heavier than what is needed, But east to use. No more having that tongue getting in the way.
This is a great coupler, and the price is the best I have found. It went on very easily over the top of the original one that was on my horse trailer.
Product was exactly as advertised, and got here earlier than expected. I plan to use it on an old pickup truck frame which I am converting into a pull behind trailer. Staff very helpful and efficient.
Product was as advertised, Fit Great, Delivery great. The only issue was tracking from shipment to delivery I definitely would recommend your company for doing business. Thanks
