Specs:
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar does for side-to-side movement what a good pair of shocks does for up-and-down motion. You will notice a marked improvement in your vehicle's stability as the bar works to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll. The anti-sway bar acts as a link between your vehicle's frame and its rear axle, using the axle as a brace to more effectively balance the shifting weight of your vehicle as you maneuver it. Lubricated bushings allow just enough pivot and rotation to compensate for the pressure placed on one side of your vehicle when it goes into sudden maneuvers, hits crosswinds or encounters shifting weights.
Superior Construction
The Roadmaster anti-sway bar is made of 4140 chromoly, a chromium and molybdenum steel alloy. This type of steel is considerably harder and stronger than the standard 1020 steel that is typically used in anti-sway applications. In addition, the larger diameter of the bar increases its torsional roll stiffness. The result is a bar that is not only stronger than the competition, but also nearly 30 percent better at resisting sway. The polyurethane bushings and grommets used at the attachment points are durable yet flexible, ensuring that the system is neither so rigid nor so malleable that it becomes ineffective.

Minimize sway and driver fatigue by improving the stability and driveability of your vehicle. The bar on this sturdy, effective anti-sway system mounts to the rear axle and to the frame to balance weight transfer and reduce body roll.Still needed to drill in frame for holes to get arms to be level..however once installed it really helps on those off camber turns and 18 wheelers zipping by at 80+ mph..
Heavy duty sway bar, not an easy install as there is little room for drilling new hole for links if you are to follow directions explicitly. My motorhome did not allow a perfectly vertical install of links, close, but not perfect. Longer links, even if they had to be beefier would be a better option. Got to see a lot of what goes on below the deck of my motorhome. I will say that with both front and rear new bars there is a great improvement in drivability.
I had this installed at my local truck tire supplier and it installed very smoothly and although I have only driven it a little way it seems to have really reduced the sway but only further driving will tell.
About a year ago I upgraded the front and rear anti-sway bars on my 2017 26A class C Winnebago on a F450 cutaway chassis. This is the simply the best upgrade to date. It eliminated the body roll and awkward handling in a crosswind as well as the snake like movements experienced when passed by semi trucks. The addition of the Roadmaster anti-sway bars has allowed us to travel 70 to 75 mile per hour on the interstates with confidence and has reduced the fatigue of a long days drive.

Was an fairly easy install with two people , has held up well so far . Helped stop sway with my top heavy truck camper load. At the time it was the only sway bar that fit the ram 3500 with 6.4 gas hemi due to exhaust system interference with other brands .

I installed the front and rear Anti-sway bars with the steering shock.
I am 100% satisfied with the outcome and handling of my RV while driving down the road.
I would highly recommend the installation of these items on any RV

Last year I installed the Sumo Springs (lighter load rated) front and rear and rear Koni FSD dampeners which helped noticeably on my 2017 Winnebago View 24J by stabilizing the ride.
I finally installed the Roadmaster rear anti sway bar RM 1209-120 immediately after receiving today. Absolutely worth the low cost for the major improvement in ride comfort and stability. These are direct bolt on replacements for the OEM Mercedes part and utilize the stock mounting bracket hardware.
For a total of less than $xxx I have completely transformed the ride of my Class C motorhome.

I recently purchased a 2011 Itasca Cambria 28 with only 10,500 miles. Our first trip made it clear that I needed to stiffen the chassis. Unfortunately Roadmaster Anti-sway bars are backordered, and though you should put those on first, I just installed the Steering Dampener. Easy installation though you need to be careful about seating the bushings. The videos are much better than the printed instructions. Already see a big difference in how much tighter the steering is. Can't wait for the bars to arrive. Disappointed to have to wait 4 weeks.

Relatively easy installation on my 2004 Ram 3500. It would have been easier if I had removed the spare tire. I only noted a few minor issues. The instructions say to mount the U brackets to the rear two holes in the shock mounts. However, on this truck the shocks mount one in front and one in rear. Therefore, the passenger side mounts in the rear two holes, but the driver side mounts in the front two holes. Otherwise all went well.

Easy installs on my 2004 E-450. The new Roadmaster 1139-115 front sway bar and the Roadmaster 1139-147 rear sway bar greatly improved the handling and cornering of the motorhome. I have aDraw-Tite 65001 front mount receiver mounted and there were no problems when installing the front sway bar.

The sway bar is high quality compared to the oem bar. I have a 2020 MBZ 2500 Sprinter 144. Basically, the roadmaster is three time the factory bar in terms of weight. And it shows. I took it on a ride down some winding roads and sharp turns and the back end feels much stiffer which equals control. I travel alot on Socal freeways to get to my destinations and it was very unnerving when driving next or passing freight trucks. I also pass through valleys and the winds can really making driving a bit uneasy. So, I anticipate this mod will add to my comfort level as well as my passengers. Time will tell. Now for some thing negative, well not quite but still some information buyers will need to know about installation. My van came with endlinks that were not compatible with the roadmaster. I knew this and order a set of end links for a 2019 model. Be aware that you will need new end links if you want to fit this bar to your 2020 model. At least that was the case for me. See pics. Overall, I'm satisfied and the cost is definitely worth the peace of mind.

very happy with the product and with Etrailer. Anyone who owns one of these motorhomes realizes it's a step by step process to get it have decent ride characteristics, and adding sway bars and trac bars and steering stabilizers are all part of it in a step by step process. Every little bit helps!

This part was absolutely the right pick. I researched a lot of anti-sway products and this one came out on top due to its simple installation (thanks to the etrailer video), price and support from etrailer. It went on just like the video showed, though I had to use an impact wrench for the chassis bolts, the etrailer guy who used a wrench must be a beast. Definitely a DIY project even for novice mechanics. I test drove it and it was hands down the biggest improvement in ride even though I had put on new shocks and have air bags. etrailer is my go-to for nearly everything I do to my RV.

it helps with the sway when my truck camper is installed. Air bags also help with keeping the truck level when driving.

Bottom line - Yes its worth it.
Installed on 2018 THOR/Axis 25.5
Night and Day driving.
Local shop in Maryland installed for me.
(I had already packed my tools/jacks for moving south).
Their mechanic was impressed with the size over the OEM.
On a related note, got the rear set up as well.
Sumo Springs intalled as well.

The package arrived in a timely manner, just as promised. The installation went as described in the instructions and everything fit well. It improved the handling quite a bit. I already had installed “Sumo Springs” last year (worked great) and the sway bar controlles the sway even more. One thing I can add is, get a long 1/2” drill bit (8” long) to help with drilling the front bracket holes. The drill chuck on my drill, hit the link tabs, causing me to drill at a slight angle (horizontal holes).
The biggest problem I encountered is that the bar contacts the exhaust pipe (1/4” gap) and makes noise when driving (see photos) . I have a diesel and the exhaust pipe is about 3” in diameter, which doesn’t help. I’m trying to figure out how to resolve this issue. I will update when I do.

I have a 1994 Airstream B-190 motorhome on a Ford E-350. I saw these sway bars in the catalog for years. I put the back one on 1st it made a world of difference, so I put the front on as well. Should have done this years ago. Don't let the pictures fool you these bars are about as big around as your wrist and very heavy duty. Took a lot of the sway out the top-heavy conservation van. I recommend this sway bar and wish I would have put it on some of my other regular Ford Econoline vans a long time ago

I purchased this part because of the rocking on my 2011 Tiifen 34TGA built on the Ford F53 frame. After searching I found this on etrailer and I have to say the video and customer support from etrailer is outstanding. The part came quickly. The install is straight forward as the video shows but be prepared for some hard work. Getting the bolts off the frame after years on the road requires a lot of muscle, my 12 gal compressor and Harbor Freight air wrench was not upto the task. You will need a torque wrench that goes upto the 300 ft/lbs required for the plate install. We had to use our legs to get to 300.
After installing I took a long test drive and the difference in handling is amazing. Much less rocking and more stable. I would recommend this anti-sway bar to anyone with this Ford frame.

Considering the difference in diameter from stock to this upgrade I could feel the difference while driving. Easy to install with one minor obstacle. The factory left drop link bolt was installed between the fuel tank and the link mount which required us to remove the rear fuel tank bracket and pull the tank out far enough to pull the factory bolt out. The new bolt was installed towards the tank. Installed on ‘99 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4.

Awesome! Our E-350 camper van drove like a boat. The anti-sway bars made all the difference in the world. No more white knuckle grip on the steering wheel. Now I'm cruising down the freeway with a cup of coffee in one hand. Thanks etrailer!

Added this to a 1997 Ford E350 Born Free RV and while we have not been traveling much it does appear that the vehicle is more stable and rolls less and recovers faster. Worth the money spent.

2006 Sprinter. Replaced factory 22mm bar with this 33mm bar. Instantly noticed a reduction of Van leaning from winds by 80% to 90%. There is still some buffeting in cross winds over 15 mph. The Sumo bump stops were installed 2 years prior to new swaybar used in conjunction.
