For the money, this set-up is hard to beat. I installed it on my 2002 Toyota Tundra TRD 4x4 along with a set of Firestone Ride-Rite airbags to aid in leveling out the truck when pulling large trailers. I ran into some issues installing the supplied gauge panel- in the tundra there is litterally no place to mount the panel aside from the dash pocket on the driver side. Unfortunately, this pocket houses my electric brake controller as I like it close by in case I need to manually override the brakes by the lever on the unit. My solution was to remove the lower, center dash panel and cut the holes to house the gauges. This proved to be no simple task as the srs airbag pcm is located right behind this panel- i had to trim the pcm mount, elongate the mounting holes in effort to slide the srs pcm back enough to allow clearance for the gauge. I also ended up using an angled trim from auto meter to aid in this as well. When wiring the lights for the gauge i tapped into one of the illuminated trim rings for the factory power outlets- this allows the gauge illumination to only come on when the headlights are turned on. I decided to mount the actual compressor under the center of the bed on a support rail using a custom bracket made of 1/8" steel plate as there is really not much room for it in the cabin and my storage cubbys under the seat are already full. The only downside to this compressor is that it takes a good while to reach 100 psi on the gauge. This is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5- Im sure the addition of an air tank would help tremendously. FYI- Fastenal carries the proper push fittings for 1/4" air lines- i needed two extra tee's (about $20 for both) as i wanted schrader valves to remotely fill it if the compressor decided to give up the ghost. 513834

  • Recommendation on an Air Compressor System to be Used on an Air Bag Suspension
I have a solution, but, the Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System, # AL25804, that you referenced is designed to only work with air shocks not air bags. On an air bag helper spring system, I recommend the Firestone Air Command I Compressor System, # F2097. The is a single path heavy duty system that is confirmed to an air bag suspension. The kit includes an analog gauge with button control to inflate or deflate the bags. The compressor as max rating of 150 psi and includes...

The Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System for Air Shock Absorbers - 160 psi # AL25804 uses 1/4 inch air lines, but there is an adapter fitting that makes it compatible with your fitting for your 1/8 inch line on your Monroe Shocks. This system has a maximum air pressure or 160 psi and is what my tech contact confirmed is the correct system for your application.

  • Air Compressor Kit That Allows Front and Rear Air Bags to be Set for Different Pressures
I have a solution for you, but the Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System for Air Shock Absorbers # AL25804 that you referenced only has the capability to maintain one pressure. You cannot use it to give your front air bags one pressure and your rear air bags another pressure. The kit that you are looking for is the Firestone Wireless Air Command F3 # F2589. • Air Lift Compressor Recommendation to Use with Air Lift 1000 Air Bags
We have a great solution for you, but the Air Lift Compressor part # AL25804 is for air shocks and not air bags. For a similar setup designed for air bags you'd want the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor System # AL25592 which gives you a gauge that mounts on the interior of the vehicle that allows you to easily monitor the bag pressure and inflate/deflate as needed.

  • What Adapter Do I Need To Use Airlift Air Shock Controller System With Monroe Shocks
The Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System for Air Shock Absorbers part # AL25804 uses 1/4" lines and does not include the adapter for the 1/8" Monroe air shocks. You will need a 37 Degree JIC female swivel to 1/4" female pipe adapter according to my research. The Air Lift Air Shock Controller is a great choice for aftermarket/factory air shocks and has a maximum air pressure of 160 PSI.

  • Can Air Lift Compressor kit part # AL25804 be Used with Air Shocks
The Air Lift Compressor kit part # AL25804 can inflate air line to a pressure of up to 160 psi. If your air shocks use a standard type of barb fitting that the 1/4 inch rubber line can attach to there's no reason this wouldn't work.

  • Which Air Lift Compressor Kit for 2017 Chevy Silverado with Monroe AirMax Shocks
You'll want to use the Air Lift Air Shock Controller Compressor System for Air Shock Absorbers - 160 psi # AL25804 since these are designed to work with aftermarket air shocks like your Monroe Air Max. This is a single path system, so the shocks will receive the same amount of air pressure, and comes with an analog gauge that can be placed in the truck so you can monitor your pressure. The AirLift # AL25592 is designed to use with an air bag/spring system and not your Monroe AirMax.
