This air mattress sleeps 2 adults comfortably in your full-size truck bed. It has cutouts on each side that let the mattress fit over your truck's wheel wells so that it fills your entire truck bed. It is constructed of puncture-resistant polyester fabric and it has an integrated comfort coil system distributes the weight of 2 people evenly so you will not roll into the other person while sleeping. It has a built-in, battery powered air pump that inflates and deflates the mattress in minutes.
The mattress is constructed of heavy-duty, puncture-resistant polyester fabric. The tightly bonded seams resist air leakage so the mattress will not deflate overnight. There is a patch kit included because accidents can happen.
It also has an inner coil system that distributes the weight of 2 people evenly across the mattress. This will prevent you from rolling off the mattress or rolling into the other person while sleeping.
The mattress has cutouts on each side that fit over the wheel wells in your truck bed. This allows you to utilize the entire truck bed as a sleeping area.
You can add inflatable wheel well inserts (sold separately) to fill the cutouts for an even sleeping surface. This lets you use the AirBedz as a standard air mattress in your tent or at home.
The AirBedz Original has a built-in, battery-powered pump that lets you inflate and deflate the mattress in minutes by simply turning a dial. When the mattress has reached your desired level of inflation, turn the dial back to the off position. It also has a standard two-stage air valve in case the built-in pump's battery runs out of power. This will require the use of a portable air pump - sold separately.
The air pump's removable NIMH battery pack comes with an included charger that plugs into your home AC outlet. Be sure to charge it up before you hit the road.
When you are done with the mattress, simply deflate it, fold it up, and place it in the included storage bag. It has built-in handle straps that make the bag easy to carry.

Let's go ahead an open it up and take a look.When you use one of these air mattresses in conjunction with a camper shell or even with a tent to go over the truck bed, it's going to provide you a nice enclosed place to sleep if the conditions outside aren't too great, whether you're camping or hunting.If you look at one of the nicest features about this, it's going to be that it's self inflating and self deflating meaning that once we have our portable battery right here, that is chargeable at home, you will get a charger with your mattress, we can turn this knob and make it inflate. Just like that, and you can see it's starting to inflate itself. What's great is that it's not going to overinflate itself. Once it gets to a certain point, air will start leaking out of here, which lets you know that it's aired up to capacity.To deflate it, rather than having to open up all the plugs and just let the air leak out over a period of time and having to lay across it to get all the air to get out, it's going to suck the air out. It's going to make this process much faster.
It's going to be a lot easier to pack it up into your carrying bag when you're ready to hit the road again.I'm going to go ahead and air it back up. I'm going to crawl inside it and show you guys a little bit more.I will point out that if you're self inflating system is not working properly or if your battery is not charged, you will have these other ports right here to manually inflate it or deflate it.So right away as I crawl in, it's still got the same comfort as a normal air mattress. You've got plenty of space to roll around, if you roll around in your sleep or not. There's plenty of space to move freely, if you're sleeping by yourself, of course.Right here we're going to have this cover going over our wheel well. That's going to help protect your head or any other body parts from making contact with it while you're sleeping.Now while it's not too comfortable to sleep on it, you still are able to.
I would just not advise it. It's a little bit more comfy to stay on this side of that line. You do want to keep in mind that if you have multiple people sleeping on this, staying inside those lines could be difficult, so you might have a little bit of discomfort, but it still shouldn't be too big of a problem.It's made out of the heavy duty nylon construction, so it's going to be very durable, and it's not going to deflate while you're sleeping on it so you're not going to wake up in the morning laying on your truck bed. The only way that would happen is if someone came and took a knife or something and poked a hole in it.You can purchase inserts separately for these wheel wells if you want to use this for your tent or at your house, you just air them up and there's hook and loop pads on the underside of that cover and there's also hook and loop pads on the insert to go ahead and put those in and then you'll be ready to use it outside of your truck bed.That's going to do it for our look at the Airbedz Truck Bed Air Mattress on our 2009 Dodge Ram pickup.

The fit for my 2019 Titan 5.5 foot short box was perfect. Haven't yet used it overnight. I like the self-contained pump. Charge time to fill from dead battery was abut ten minutes. The tailgate mattress took a couple minutes to fill using included dual action pump. It was not taxing. The carry bag was big enough to easily contain both mattresses and hand pump. Only remaining question is durability. The materials appear sturdy. Time will tell. etrailer customer service was great and shipping was super quick.

We love this mattress! We bought the inserts to use the mattress for camping and even when we stayed at a relatives house we chose to sleep on the air bed over the beds they had! I love how quickly it inflates itself and deflates. Not needing a plug to blow it up has been amazing for camping trips. Had a warranty issue and etrailer was phenomenal in getting us a replacement quickly!

The bed fit my 2016 Ram 1500 great and is comfortable to sleep on. Much better than having to sleep diagonal. I am 6ft tall and weigh 245.
The battery for the built in inflator has never worked, even with charging before first use. I had to use a different inflator. Many reviews on the web complain about the same thing, even with the replacements.
I didn't try to get a replacement even with etrailer's great customer service. I am going to try and find a custom solution.

First use of my AirBedz mattress this past weekend. Very simple to inflate and deflate. Amazingly quick each way... 2 to 3 minutes. Simple to refold as well. Perfect fit in my truck bed and plenty of room for 2 adults. Highly recommend.

This fits like a glove on out 2017 Tacoma short bed. The only thing that can make this better is if the built in pump worked on the "foot" extension. That being said, it is not something that would take away my 5-star rating.

The quality is great and I've used it 6 times and loved it! My only complaint is I ordered it twice and they sent the wrong size twice and because i liked it I decided to keep it even though it's the wrong size for my Tacoma.

Fits just about perfect in my 2012 Toyota Tacoma 5' Bed. I might put a piece of plywood under it to have the wheel well flaps lay flat, but they're close. The material seems of high quality too; seems durable, but I've only tested it, have not actually spent a night on the mattress.

Mattress was a perfect fit for my 22' Colorado, and really easy to deploy and un-deploy.
Came with a manual hand pump, as well as a re-chargable battery operated pump that is built in.
The battery design is a little wonky (20 min of life from a 8 hour charge (un-tested))

Bought this for my 2017 Tundra CrewMax. Fits perfectly, holds air and is as comfortable as an air mattress can be. Also, the material lining keeps the noise to a minimum. With the addition of the tailgate extension, this is well worth the money.
