Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Wesbar LED Agricultural Passenger Side Agricultural Light. This is a dual-sided agricultural light assembly that's going to work on your towed field equipment, such as your harvesters or field cultivators or fertilizers. This does provide the red and amber lights on the back for your brake and till, and turn light signals, as well as your flashing functions, and the amber light on the front here is going to be for your turn signal and flashing functions. This is a bolt on installation. Unlike some of the others similar lights that we have here on the site, this doesn't have a magnet on the bottom or anything like that, that would allow you to temporarily mount it.
But you can see we've got quarter inch holes here in the base that will allow us to just bolt this down onto our equipment. So this will mainly be used as a replacement for an existing system. You can see we have a four wire pigtail here, so we will be able to wire this into the wiring that we already have installed on our equipment. We do also have other options, very similar lights that come with all the wiring. So if you are starting from scratch or you're just wanting to scrap it all and replace it all, we do have systems that will run from your tractor or a truck or whatever it is you're using to pull your equipment, back to the lights. So that's another option for you, but if you're just looking for a replacement passenger side light, this is going to do a good job for you.So we've got our brown running signal here, our red brake signal, and then our green turn signal, and of course our white is our ground.
These are going to help power up our lights, which are LEDs. If you're not familiar with LEDs, they are a really nice option, especially in comparison to your more traditional incandescent bulbs. They don't have the brittle filament inside that can break. So they do last about 50 times longer, and they're going to be more efficient. So you're going to get more light with less power draw.
So the LEDs are a really nice option, especially on your agricultural equipment that's getting jostled around while you're out in the fields and everything, and they're just going to be a lot more durable for you. So they should last you a lot longer. Now, this light does meet all of the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers standards, specifically the S279.15 lighting requirements. It's going to meet those, so you can trust it's going to hold up well for you.I just want to give you a few measurements here before I plug it in so you can see how the lights operate. But this is overall right at about 10 and three quarters of an inch. And when we count all the way out, we'll do want to give you a little bit more generosity, but somewhere between 10 and a half and 10 and three quarters, depending on how snug it needs to be for you, that's the lengths.
And then our width is right at, call it three inches, and our height, we're looking at right about five and a half inches tall. The lights themselves have a diameter of about four and three eights of an inch, just shy of four and a quarter of an inch wide.So let me get this all hooked up for you so you can see it in action. Again, we're going to plug our white to our ground and then our brown is going to be our running lights. That's turned on here. You have your running lights. And then our red is going to be our brake lights. So you can see with our running lights, we just have those two center lights. Then when we apply our brakes, it's going to light up all the rest of them. Then with our turn signal, connecting to our green, it's going to light up that amber light that is going to be on the front back and both sides there. So if I turn off the lights in my studio, you can see these are nice bright lights. So they will do a good job for you while you're out. Even if you're working late in the fields, these are going to hold up well, and to give you lots of light to make sure that other motorists and folks around where you are, so you can avoid any accidents and just remain legal. So that's going to complete our look at the passenger side. We also have a driver's side that's basically the exact same thing, hard-wired, bolted on. So if you need that as well, we do have that available here at etrailer.com.But that's going to complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
