Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a quick look at the Wesbar Agricultural Light Kit. This is a dual sided agricultural light that's going to hook up on your driver's side and your passenger side of your towed field equipment, such as your harvesters, field cultivators or fertilizers. And this is going to help you meet all light standards for agricultural field equipment. So if you do have to travel on the road from one field to another, you will be road legal with these.

There are going to provide an amber light on the front and on the back, and that's going to provide your flashing and turn signals. And then our red light here is only going to face backwards. That's going to give you your tail lights and brake light functions. Now keep in mind, depending on your setup, your tractor or your tow vehicle might not be putting out a brake signal. So then this light would just be your tail lights.

But if you do have something that is going to provide that brake signal, this will function with that as well.This is going to give you a couple of different mounting options. So on the bottom side here, you can see we've got two holes on either side that you can bolt these down or screw them down. They also include these 90 pound pole magnets that you can screw into place right there in that middle hole there so that you can easily transfer these from one piece of equipment to another. It's going to be very easy and those magnets are very strong, so they'll hold it well for you, make sure that's not going to come off as you're going through the fields bouncing around.Our seven pin round connector is what's going to plug into your towed vehicle or tractor that's going to receive the light functions, send them onto the lights. This does give you 46 feet of wire, so it reach back about 46 feet.

So it should be good for just about all your field equipment. Does have that wishbone style harness here, so it'd be easy to pull out when you're done with it. And the jacketed cable is going to help protect the wiring, so it's going to be nice and dependable for you. On the light end, we are going to have a square four prong molded plug you see there. So those are just going to pair together.

It's going to give us our light functions from our wiring to our lights. We've got a full length ground circuit that's going to ensure a nice reliable, continuous operation, and these plugs are weather resistant. So again, should last you a nice long time even if you're out in less than ideal elements.Our lights themselves are a high impact glass filled thermal plastic housing. So you're not going to have to worry about rust or corrosion, going to hold up well for you. It is designed to help deflect objects away from the lens area to help protect the light. It's going to withstand that vigorous field and conditions where you're bouncing around, things are flying. So it is designed to be very hardy and long lasting for you. Our lenses are an acrylic lens that are very durable and shatter resistant. It's pretty easy to take them off, use a screwdriver, or if you get enough leverage with your hand might be able to pop them out. So I can demonstrate that there. So if you need to get into the bulb to replace that or something, very easy to get those lenses taken off so you can access that area. This does have a nice vibration dampening bulb holder. It's going to ensure that our beam of light is very steady. It's very easy to replace those bulbs if we do ever have to get them out and then we can just pop that lens back in place like so.Each light is going to be about 10 and a half inches long by about five and a half inches tall and three inches deep. So they're not going to take up much room. They can be mounted horizontally or vertically with the magnets or with the bolts or screws, depending on how you want to get it set up. They do include the magnets, so that's a nice option to switch between your equipment if you are taking one piece out and then come back and then switch it out for another.So overall, I think you're going to be very happy with this. Obviously it's going to help keep your road legal so that everyone's safe while you're out and about, and you can get the job done.So that's going to complete our look for today.
