Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this Replacement Surface Mount Table Leg Kit for the etrailer RV dinette tables. Now this replacement kit is going to be compatible with all of our etrailer RV dinette tabletops, and this is a surface mount design that's going to allow for easy installation without needing a precut hole. And this leg is a steel leg and this is going to mount to your floor with the included bracket and the screws and then to your tabletop with that bracket. And the leg itself has plastic end caps to provide cushion and insulation while it is in those brackets. And so you're going to receive everything that you see here on the table before me. Again, one bracket to secure to your floor, another bracket to secure to the bottom of your tabletop with 12 screws.
And the overall height of just the table leg itself, that is going to be 27 inches tall when this is in the upright position. I also want to give you the measurement of the diameter of the base of the brackets. And as you can see there, we are sitting right at 6 5/16 inches on that diameter. And so as I go ahead and put this leg back into the brackets here, let me go ahead and give you an overall height, counting those brackets. So we are sitting right at 28 and a half inches tall.
So again, this is going to be for a surface mount installation but we also have a recessed mount leg kit if that is something that you are in need of. So on your screen, I am including the recessed mount replacement table leg kit. And you see the item number there on your screen. You can just put the item number in the search field of our website and it will take you to the recessed mount, if that's what you need rather than the surface mount. I installed the new pedestal. Very little wobbling compared to el cheapo installed by the factory in my Aliner. Will be a much happier camper!

- How Many Legs Should I Use With My 27" x 37" RV Table?You could probably get away with using just one leg, but If you're wanting maximum sturdiness I'd definitely suggest going with at least two Replacement Leg Kit for etrailer RV Dinette Tables # e79RR or # e69RR. The # e69RR are recessed mounted, and the # e79RR are surface mounted, so if you're dropping these legs into a pre-existing mounting hole the recessed option will be the one you want, if not I'd go with the surface mounted option. You're just going to want to make sure that the end caps get put back together properly so you can install the leg to the mount. If you only need to trim it a little bit you could just use the Replacement Leg Kit for etrailer RV Dinette Tables # e69RR which is going to be 2 inches shorter than # e79RR.

The 26-1/2" and 28-1/2" measurements you see on our site are the heights from floor to base of table. So with a 1" thick table you will get either 27-1/2" if you use the recessed kit or 29-1/2" with the surface mount kit.

If this is a collapsible leg that closing down into itself to turn the dinette into a bed then I'd reach out to Jayco. If the leg just pops out and the table sits on the bench to make a bed then you can just swap out the entire leg with either of these replacement legs.
