Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the replacement gearbox for your etrailer and Ram 10,000 pound two speed square jack. Now these parts here will replace any damaged gears on your gearbox of the two speed jack. As we mentioned, these are designed for use with the etrailer brand and the Ram two speed jacks that have a 10,000 pound capacity. Now, I did wanna pop up an insert just to show you. There's an example of one of those 10,000 pound square jacks and you can see at the top where the handle's connected to one of these gear shafts.
And then on the other side is the other gear shaft. So it does include the two gear shafts right here. It includes the cover, includes all the installation hardware for installation. And what's nice about this, it's a very small gear box, so it is compact to reduce interference. Provides a nice sleek look.

It all fit great but I had to drill out the cover holes cause my original bolts are larger than the ones in the replacement kit.

I bought this to convert my single speed jacks to two speed. Etrailer confirmed that it is not designed to do this, but if you're a decent mechanic with mediocre fabrication skills you can adapt it to the single apeed jack. I would like to see a 2 speed conversion offered in the future but for now we'll just have to make it work.

- Solution for Needing 2 Speed Landing Gear for Flat Bed Gooseneck TrailerThere's a slim chance that's possible, but I would need to know what jacks you have on your trailer first to determine if there's a way. I will say that most likely there won't be and only solution will be a new landing gear set that is two speed like the Bulldog 2 speed kit part # BD500153 which has a 45,000 lb capacity.
