Today we are going to take a look at the landing gear follow leg with sixteen inches of travel and a 25,000 pound lift capacity. Now this is the follow jack, which is designed to pair with a lead leg to get your complete landing gear set that's rated for 50,000 pounds. Now, this follow leg works with the etrailer or the ram two-speed lead jack to raise and lower your trailer. The belly band right down here, you can see on the bottom, provides additional strength and durability. This is a heavy duty steel construction. Now, one note on this, the landing gear is designed to stabilize a portion of your trailer's weight.

It is not to support the full gross vehicle weight rating of your trailer. So you do not want to use the landing gear to lift your trailer or RV during tire changes or service work, because doing so will exceed the capacity of the landing leg.A few specs on this, the bracket height, which is measured from the bottom of the foot plate to the bottom of the outer tube. So if we put a ruler on that, it's going to be right at three and one eighths inches. Now, when this jack is fully extended, it's going to be nineteen and one eighths inches. So the travel was going to be sixteen inches.

This is your outer tube. So the outer tube width on this is going to be right at four and a half inches. The inner tube, right at the bottom here, that width is going to be four inches. The rod shaft right up here, diameter is one inch. Total outer tube length, which is going to be from the bottom right here, all the way up to the top is twenty-eight and a half inches.
