Hello, neighbors. Welcome back. I'm Steven here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at this Yakima MOD Work Space for the Medium and Large HomeBase SUV Storage Drawers. No, this is not a cutting board. It just looks like one.

Well, folks, honestly though, this is a nice bamboo board. It simply drops into an open drawer on your Yakima MOD System. So I'm gonna throw a graphic up here of what that system looks like. If you're not familiar, the Yakima Modular Work System, or the Modular System, is basically a HomeBase, as they call it, and it creates a nice space to store your cargo gear. They're made up of drawered systems like the one you see with my left hand shoulder, and some that are just stackable totes on top of that.

Some with lids, some without. Now, what this HomeBase will do is it's perfect. You can put this inside that drawer system I just had popped up on the screen, and it'll make a nice tabletop, if you will, for that HomeBase. So you pull the drawer out, you sit this guy on top. It actually should stay inside the drawer with it closed, but basically you could slide this forward on the drawer, do stuff out there.

When you're done, you could push it towards the back, reach the gear inside the drawer, or push it back inside the drawer to keep it stored as well. Now your gear does stay stowed underneath this. Again, it's a very durable bamboo finish. It is super warp resistant, easy to clean, and it's gonna stand up to all your daily use. There's a side view, it even has some rubber pads on both sides, both ends.

That's one end, and that's the other end. And again, nice bamboo finish. You can kind of see it better there. Very durable. And this will fit the medium and large MOD HomeBase units. That's the Y83DJ, or the Y23DJ. It has a nice limited lifetime warranty. And as far as some dimensions, I got 32 and one eighth inches long by 11 and five eighth inches wide.
