Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a brief look at this extension for your Yakima MegaWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket. Now this is custom designed for your MegaWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, and it is going to instantly add 22 inches of length to your basket, increasing the capacity of your basket by 40%. Now lemme go ahead and give you an overhead view here real quick. This is going to be about six and a half inches tall, and just laying my tape measure across here, as you can see, this is 48 inches wide. And this features a sturdy, galvanized steel construction with a powder coat finish that's going to resist corrosion.
And because of the movable load bar that's included with your MegaWarrior, Yakima roof rack carriers for bikes, boats, and skis are still going to work, and stacking extensions is allowed, but an additional roof rack crossbar must be used for every extension after the first. Instructions are included with this to walk you through the simple installation process. Its an awesome rack. It never comes off my Chevy Tahoe. I dont use it everyday, but when I need it, it gets the job done.
