Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Westin Replacement Mounting Hardware Kit. Now, this Hardware Kit is going to fit your Westin Sportsman Grille Guard on your 2003 to 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD and 3500,, and then your 2007 GMC Sierra Classic 2500HD and 3500. And as you can also see there on your screen, just for your easy reference, I am including the specific model numbers of that Grille Guard, that Sportsman Grille Guard that's gonna work on those trucks. Now, this is the hardware that's directly from Westin, so you can trust that this hardware is going to fit right in place of that original hardware. Maybe you've misplaced some mounting hardware, maybe a bracket or two has gotten damaged.
You're not gonna have to worry about fitment or compatibility issues since this is directly from Westin. The instructions are gonna guide you through that installation process. Replaces the installation hardware for your Westin Sportsman Grille Guard (40-1265 and 45-1260).Had to make some of the holes slightly larger .. after shipping and Canadian conversion it was 160$ for some brackets I still had to modify … plus the extensive fab work I had to do to retain tow hooks
etrailer kept me informed as to when it would be shipped and I Just got my mounting kit today. etrailer is TERRIFIC. I looked everywhere for this and nobody could get it . I will be doing more business with them.
Bought a grill guard,didn't have right hardware, got in touch with etrailer, they where very helpful,got me the correct hardware,got here like they said, went right on with no issues,very please with service and product...thank you...jeff maywell

Hello Mitch, I'm glad you were able to modify this and get it to work for you, but these are designed for the Westin Sportsman Grille Guard model number 40-1265 and 45-1260. I did take a look at the instructions, and you do have to remove your tow hooks in order to correctly mount the brackets.
