Video Transcript for Review of Weigh Safe Padlock Adjustable Coupler Latch Lock Hitch Lock - WS93ZR

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Weigh Safe padlock, adjustable coupler latch lock and hitch receiver locking pin. Now beginning with the padlock, this is gonna be great to lock up your trailer doors, your trailer gates, and other items where this lock is going to work for you. This is constructed of hardened steel and it has this really nice chrome finish on it. And you might be wondering about the measurements of this padlock, wondering if it's going to work for your particular application.

So on your screen, I am including a diagram showing you all the possible measurements that you could want about this padlock. So hopefully this will help you determine if this particular padlock is going to work for you. And if you need to take a longer look at those measurements, you could just pause this video. And this is gonna be a very simple operation. Of course, just like your traditional padlock, you'll just insert the key, give it a turn.

That's going to unlock it, and then you don't need to keep the key in the padlock to lock this back up. So just like that, it's gonna be very easy to use. So really a strong steel construction with that attractive chrome finish. Next, I wanna move to the coupler latch lock. This is obviously going to work with the trigger latch style or lever latch style or a sleeve lock ball couplers.

And this coupler lock is going to secure the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler to help deter theft. Your trailer can't be removed from your tow vehicle when locked into the ball, and then would-be thieves can't secure your unhitched trailer to their tow vehicle with the coupler lock as well. So this is gonna be very easy to use. So again, you'll just insert the key and then give it a turn. That's going to allow you to remove the pin from the lock.

By the way, the diameter of this pin is 1/4 inch. And so this is adjustable. This is gonna be able to fit most couplers. You'll find once you insert the pin through the trigger latch, you're gonna find the clearance that's gonna work best for you. You wanna make it as tight as possible and then of course, you'll remove the key and then it'll be locked into place. This does come with this tethered rubber cap to keep that keyway clear from debris, moisture, things like that. This is a stainless steel construction, so it's gonna hold up really well for you. The overall length is about 4.5 inches or so. And as I mentioned, the diameter of this pin is 1/4 of an inch. Next, we wanna move to this hitch lock. This is going to fit most of your 2 inch, 2.5 inch and 3 inch trailer hitch receivers with a pinhole diameter of 5/8 of an inch. So this is gonna let you lock your ball mount or hitch accessory to your receiver. Again, this has a tethered dust cap that's gonna keep out dirt and moisture from that keyway. If you notice, I removed the key and I wanted to show you that you don't need the key inserted into the lock itself to lock this back up. So very easy operation, as you can see there. You just push it together firmly. The overall length here is about 5 7/8 inches from end to end, and then the inside pin length or span is about 3 7/16 inches. This is a sturdy stainless steel construction. So again, this is going to hold up really well for you. So as you can see, you're going to get six keys here and each lock is keyed like, so one key is going to operate all of these locks for you and then you'll have these extras. So you're not gonna have to worry about different sets of keys to work these locks. One key with operate them all. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our look today.
