Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Weigh Safe lock set. Now I'm gonna go over each piece of this set just to give you an idea of what to expect. First, we have this coupler lock. This is going to fit your 1 7/8 inch, two, and 2 5/16 inch ball couplers. This is gonna lock down your trailer coupler to prevent stowaway theft, keeping others from hooking up to your trailer.
And this is going to fit most ball style couplers. So this is going to create a tight, secure fit around your coupler, or 360 degrees of protection. That built-in ball is gonna fit inside your coupler, engaging it like a trailer ball, and it's going to block that opening. I just wanna show you real quick how to use this. So as you notice here, we do have this keyhole cover that's gonna keep moisture and debris out of that lock cylinder.
It is tethered. And then I'm gonna insert one of the keys here, give it a turn. And if you notice that lock comes out when I turn the key to the unlock position, then I'm gonna turn that key back to the locked position. So now I can remove this shackle and just place this over the coupler. And you wanna make it as tight as possible.
So what you'll do is get the tightest fit that you can, and then back off onto the nearest set of notches that will engage with the lock. So lemme go ahead and just put that in like that. And then what I really like about this is that the lock is a push button lock. So once you have it set to where you need it, you simply push that in, and then that's going to lock it in place just like that. So very easy to use.
And then the base here is made of aircraft grade aluminum. Our shackle here is hardened steel. So this is going to be very durable, hold up really well against the elements that it's going to be exposed to. Very easy to use. Next we have this padlock, as you can see here. And this padlock is hardened steel and it does have this chrome finish. And again, this is going to be very easy, easy to use. Just gonna use it like a standard padlock. This is gonna be great for locking up your trailer doors, trailer gates, your gear. And you don't need the key inserted to lock this back up. So that's gonna easily lock up. On your screen, I'm quickly including a diagram of the measurements for that padlock, just so you can be confident that this particular padlock is going to work for your particular application that you have in mind. So those should be all the dimensions that you're gonna be looking for in regards to this padlock. So very durable lock. Next I wanna show you the coupler latch lock, though. This is going to work with your trigger latch style or lever latch style and sleeve lock ball couplers. This coupler lock secures the trigger latch on your trailer's coupler to help deter theft. Your trailer won't be able to be removed from your tow vehicle when locked into the ball, and would be thieves can't secure your unhitched trailer to their tow vehicle with the coupler locked either. This has an adjustable span that's going to fit most couplers. And again, the lock is very similar to the other ones here. It'll use the key, you remove it, so you can see the adjustability there. And you'll want to obviously get it as tight as possible on that latch, and then just lock it into place. And you'll be good to go. This does have a rubber cap. It is tethered to protect that key wave from moisture, debris, things like that. It's a sturdy stainless steel construction. So again, it's gonna hold up really well for you. Finally, we have this hitch lock. This is going to work with most of your two inch, 2 1/2 inch and three inch receivers with a pinhole diameter of 5/8 of an inch. Again, this has a dust cap. It's tethered, gonna be very easy to use. And what I liked about this lock is you don't need the key inserted to lock this back up. So I locked the head back up, remove the key, and then when you're ready to lock this, you just press firmly and then you are locked into place. The overall length of this hitch lock end to end is about 5 7/8 inches. And then that inside pin length, it's also called span, inside to inside is about 3 7/16 inches. And again, this is a sturdy stainless steel construction. I failed to give you the measurements of this coupler latch lock. From end to end, it's about 4 1/2 inches or so, and that pin diameter is a quarter of an inch. You are going to get all of these keys here. You're gonna get eight keys. All of these keys are key to like, and so one key will operate all of these locks. You're not gonna have to have separate keys for each lock, so you're gonna have quite a few spares as well. So that's a great addition to this set. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me.
