Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement dual pin assembly with clips for the 180 hitch 2-ball mounts. This replaces the dual pin assembly from your 180 hitch 2-ball mount, lets you attach to the ball mount platform to the shank of the unit. It's going to come with the dual pin assembly and 2 clips. The unit's made from a rust-proof aluminum construction. It's made right here in the USA. Just to show you how it would install and it works, we have an example here today.
You can see that our platform for the hitch balls is located on to the shank. In order to secure it, we need to install our dual pin assembly. Feed that through, comes out the other side, and that's where we would install our clips. That's all there is to it. I live in a climate where there is salt and corrosion for half the year. I purchased this product as a replacement for the original locking pin for my adjustable hitch. This works great for fast adjustment during the winter months. If I go out of town or am in less the desirable areas, I can quickly switch back to the original locking pin for that period of time. For most of the time I use this product. It makes changing hitch height very easy! Love it!

This is specific to my situation...
Better then then locking Pin, I say only because the boot falls off BUT because I traval over sage bushes. I lost the boot, dirt got into the key grooves and was extremely dificult to get the key inside, for normal "xity folk, you should have no issue, as boot is quite secure. This is a great alternative.

The part # WS01 is the platform that fits the 2 inch hitch and the part # WS01-5 fits the 2.5 inch hitch shanks. So what you'd need is the part # WS8-2 for a new ball mount with the same 8 inches of drop that fits your new 2 inch hitch size.
