It's a cord. You plug it in and it worked as promised. Not much to review. It either works or it doesn't, however the wires seem like they can easily pop out of the receptacle, just need to be gentle as they aren't really protected.1277107

Still working and functional for first season of camping pulling RV trailer

The 12 volt plug end fell apart so we ordered this and it does exactly what it says it does. Just unplug the old one from the monitor and plug in the new one. Plus the 12 volt plug end is easier to plug in that the original. A bonus. Looks exactly like the photo. Very happy.1226841

I ordered this cable and hoped that it would arrive soon enough for me to be able to use it on our next voyage. The cable was delivered on the promised date, and is a better design than the original in that the 12v plug. Specifically, the 12v plug doetn't rotate around the cable like the opriginal, so I'm not expecting the internal connection to break like the one I replaced. Great and convenient service!1299183
