Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a real quick look at this Valterra replacement cap and strap. This is going to replace a broken or damaged tethered cap for your Valterra gravity fill fresh water inlet. This cap is protects your gravity fill inlet and freshwater tank. Very simple replacement for the original cap. I bought the camper used and the tether was broken off the cap. I needed to use a plier to remove the nub of the original tether. The new tether plugged right in. I will no longer be looking for a place to put the cap while I am filling!

Lost the old one out on some rough roads in the Mojave, took a little digging to pull out the old strap, but was good to go in about 2 minutes.

Received the Valterra gravity fill water inlet cap with strap replacement in the time frame stated, the cap fit well and will do the job it was made for.
The tail lights, porch light, and water service caps were exact replacements! Very fast delivery. The best and nicest service that I have had from any company in years! If all the people in this town are as nice as the ladies that answered my questions, and took my order, I would consider moving there!

It's a cap. It works. Added some gorilla glue to the tab to keep it from falling off as the tab insert hole was too wide.

Received the Valterra gravity fill water inlet cap with strap replacement in the time frame stated, the cap fit well and will do the job it was made for.
The picture made it clear I was getting what I needed. I tried to order from another website and got the wrong thing based on their picture which was not clear.
I wasn't sure of the size I needed but this fits ok.
