Today we're gonna take a look at the brass transmitters for Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring System. This is for a quantity of two of them. Now, these transmitters are designed to work with the Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. These will basically replace your valve stem caps on the vehicles that have the rubber and brass or metal valve stems. I happened to pull .. Here's an example.
Here's your rubber and brass style and here's your metal. It'll work on either one of those. These transmitters will transmit tire information back to the Tire Minder monitor and it transmits both tire pressure and tire temperature. The transmitters themselves weigh only a half an ounce so they will not affect tire balance. The part does include everything shown here. It includes the two transmitters, the two replaceable CR1632 batteries and the two locking rings.
And just to give you a dimension on one of the transmitters, diameter of them is about three-quarters of an inch. Overall height is right at about one inch. And I just want to show you . I'm gonna take one of the . Here's your rubber and brass. So how to install these, first what you want to do is unscrew the cap on the transmitter and you'll see that's right where your battery will slide in, right underneath that connector there.
It'll say "positive" on top, "negative" on the bottom. Slide your battery in. Once your battery is installed, go ahead and put your cap back in, tighten it down and then what you want to do is take your valve stem, if it has a cap on it, take the cap off, go ahead and put your locking nut or locking ring all the way down. Take your transmitter, go ahead and screw that onto your valve stem and you want to make sure to put it, snug it up very tight because what happens is, that'll push down on the valve core and that'll be able to read your pressure and your temperature. Once you get it tightened down enough, then just run the lock ring up there, snug it up and then tighten that on so it holds it into place. Simple installation, just like that.
And again, as I mentioned, it'll work on either the rubber and brass or the metal stems. Go ahead and remove it. But that should do it for the review on the brass transmitters for the Tire Minder Tire Pressure Monitoring System for a quantity of two.

For use on RV and trailer tires with brass or steel valve stems.I have had some issues with losing connections and contacted the Tire Minder customer support. They sent me an additional repeater and so far that seems to have resolved the issue. There is an issue with their magnetic mount where the display unit sometimes falls off on bumps. I even have it situated where the bottom rests on the dash. They supply a round disk that is supposed to stick to the back of the display unit and stick to the magnet better, but the disc will not adhere to the back of the unit.
Over all I like the TireMinder system. I gave 4 stars because I've had to replace 3 sensors over the past three years. I bought this 2 pack to have in hand for future replacements.
Great product. When I have a 12,000 lb trailer behind me, it’s important to know what the tire pressure and temperatures are.
The easiest tire sensor monitor to install I've ever bought, great people and great product, Thank You
Liked the "personalized" messages advising receipt of my order, etc. Only thing I wasn't particularly fond of was the fact I had to order 2 monitors when I only needed one. Oh well, now I have a spare.
Originally ordered the tire minder i10 system from etrailer. After installing it one of the sensors was leaking. Going on a trip & had to get another sensor. Ordered this kit with plenty of time to get it & then found out order got delayed because of some out of stock toilet paper I ordered with it. A phone call would have been helpful. Did then talk to an Angela & she did get it overnighted for me but said she was going to try & get the delivery charges split between myself & etrailer for the inconvenience but have never heard back about this possible credit.
I lost one of the tire minders on the road, ordered these replacements. Arrived on time with excellent customer service. Thanks everyone!
A must have product for your trailers and fifth wheels !
The tire minder installed as detailed in your video. Gauges worked well and measure consistent with other gauges.
I had to order a replacement, because the original started to leak. I did not figure that out until I removed the battery cap, then I could hear the hissing sound.
Montering tire pressure peace of mind on 5th wheel and F450 that does not come with TSP, lots of safety items before a blow out or flat tire.
My order shipped very quickly after placing it. I need 4 new tpms sensors for an rv trip the next afternoon. I received my sensors ontime, before noon. Thank you for your excellent service as always!
Actually these were replacements for a blowout I had. Never put them on. Figured out my old ones kept giving me the same reading after they died. The blowout was low air on a tire that read fine. Figured it is just as easy to check the tire pressure manually as to check if monitors are working. Took all off. The also gave false readings every once in a while so I was stepping and checking for no reason.
Great product. I had a blow out on my travel trailer on I-90 in South Dakota. The tire minder alerted me that I had a blow out and saved me from additional expense had the tread come off the tire and tore up my RV. This purchase was to replace the tire minder that was on the tire that blew out.
Great product. This is a must for larger trailers and haul vehicles
They work great and easy to program
I've ordered from e-trailer many times and, as always, I'm very satisfied with the quality of the products they sell, in this case the Tire Minder Brass Tire Sensors. I'm also hugely satisfied with their excellent customer service on the phone.
Normally shipping from e-traier is very quick however, and this is the 2nd time this has happened to me, this shipment was delayed through some internal problem in communication between the Missouri and Utah locations. As it happens, I was in no rush for the product so it didn't matter much, but not only did the original shipping time of 9 days seem inordinately long (7/5/23-7/13/23 - 9 days), but the shipment didn't arrive until 7/15/12.
Had what I needed. Fast shipping.
I have used this product since I bought my 5th wheel 6 years ago and find that it gives me great peace of mind on the road, as well as an easy way to check my tire pressure before I head out for another site.
These sensors provide peace of mind when it comes to loss of pressure while traveling.
Great product at a competitive price.
Great product at a good price. Customer service was outstanding.
I have replaced SEVERAL of these. etrailer to the rescue.Theyre great. Wish I could state the same about TireMinder accessories
The Tireminder system works pretty good. I purchased these Tireminder sensors from etrailer because my originally purchased Tireminder system contained only 6 sensors, and I needed 8 sensors for my tow application. The reason I don't rate the system "excellent" is because since using the Tireminder system, I have gotten a couple of false warnings on different tires (all were for tow vehicle tires, none were for trailer tires), warning that the tire air pressure was about 50% below normal, which turned out to be false. In each case, the sensor batteries were fresh, and the signal booster was operating (mounted beneath and at the rear of the tow vehicle). Note that this is a "system" review because I don't know which component caused the false warnings. Other than the above, I am very happy with the Tireminder system.
Interesting timing. This is my second attempt. First my number one beef. The window mount has some sort of glue that melted and slid down my window. Making an awful mess. I have still to find a substance that will remove the residue and not strip the window tinting. Plus I broke the mount just trying to pry it free.
I purchased the unit with the repeater which I am glad I did. I tested it with and without. My 36’ trailer RV and my F150 truck were too long and path obstructed without the repeater. The unit works great. But Intuitive - NOT. Twice I’ve had wheels that simply dropped away. Both instances it was obviously not a flat as they went to zero immediately. But I was forced to pull over and check. I both times I had to reboot the unit before the tires came back online. Both times with new batteries. Strangely, not the same tire, but both front axel?
Overall, it’s as good as it gets for my price range. But plenty of room for improvement.
