Replace a missing Thule key with this equivalent part.I lost my keys for my Thule roof carrier and etrailer bailed me out!! Wifey bought an X-5 with an official BMW roof rack.....but prior owner had never turned in the key so while it looked great, we couldn’t use it. I recognized it as probably made by Thule and researched the lock number hoping to find a key. Lo and behold, I connect to eTrailer and, like magic, they’ve got the key. Quick order, great price, quick delivery AND excellent customer service communication. Really - I heard from people personally and knew every detail about their filling the order. I’ll look on eTrailer’s website first when I need such things. I’m pleased and very impressed.
After losing the keys for my Thule bike rack, I was relieved to discover how simple and inexpensive it is to get replacements. After finding the series number on the lock on my rack, it was quick and easy to order 2 replacement keys on etrailer.com. The keys arrived quickly and fit the lock perfectly. This is a low tech item (a key), but since I don't think Thule makes the same model bike rack anymore I was apprehensive that I would be unable to find a replacement key for the hitch mount. I was pleased that this key fits perfectly and now I can remove/remount the bike rack as necessary. BTW, I got my Thule bike rack from eTrailer and was very pleased.
I bought this hoping it would fit a Y002 branded lock cylinder on a Harbor Freight universal roof crossbar. It did not. No fault of the seller, I knew it was a gamble. There is obviously more than one brand of lock cylinder with the Y002 designation.

etrailer really saved me!! I was worried I was going to have to buy a new rooftop carrier but this key works perfectly. Just remember to check the number of your lock barrel to make sure it matches. Service, shipping, everything was impeccable!

I had a SEARS SPORT 20-SV (roof top cargo carrier )with lock numbers 2818 right above where you insert the key. I just added the letter (N) before the. So I ordered N2818 and it worked perfectly!! Two day shipping was right on time.

Found out that the keys on a BioniX e-bike are matched to the numbers on the battery lock. In my case it was written 163 so I ordered this matching key and it works!!!.
Got a fresh pair of keys now and it was simpler than a locksmith.
We literally used it one time to lock the roof top carrier and that was it. It performed as expected and completely opened and closed the lock when rotated clockwise and counterclockwise. Unless this key self-destructs at some point, I would recommend it.
