Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule Chariot Cross Country Skiing and Hiking Kit. This conversion kit is going to add these skis and towing harness to your Chariot child carrier to convert it for cross-country skiing or hiking. This is going to work for your classic or skate style cross-country skiing. It's gonna make it very easy to just glide over the snow as you are skiing. So this is going to work to convert it from the rolling setup, as you see on the screen there, to being able to be used on the snow when you're skiing.

This will work for the Thule Chariot Lite, both the 1-child and 2-child carrier options, as well as the Chariot Cross, again the 1-child and 2-child options. So these two lightweight skis are going to attach to your carrier in place of its wheels. So each ski is going to very easily slide into the carriers wheel axle. Then we have our lightweight, telescoping aluminum arms that will fit into your versa wing brackets. There at the end, you can see we've got the pins and safety clips to secure it to the carrier, and those are going to stay attached thanks to this attachment band there.

These are going to be customizable. They are telescoping, so it can be adjusted to fit the skiers height. Got three different positions as you can see in the arm here. So we'll just stick the pin through at the different mounting points. So we've got, at our shortest, most retracted position, they're gonna be about 73 inches from the attachment point at the belt to the clip there where it's gonna attach to the carrier.

So minimum 73 inches, we've got an 80 inch setting and then 86 inch setting. So gonna give you lots of adjustability and make sure that it's going to fit your height, make it nice and comfortable as you are pulling it, or as comfortable as you can be as we're exerting all that energy and effort to ski. But then at the other end, we are going to have this padded waist belt that will provide a nice connection for you so that you can focus on your skiing and effortlessly pull the carrier along. Waist belt does have this click buckle so we can easily get set up there, and the belt does adjust to fit your waist to make sure that you have a nice snug fit. It will expand up to about 52 inches so you can get that set up.

And then it is padded on the back side here, so it's gonna be pretty comfortable for you. And it does also have a pouch right back by your tailbone for a water bottle so that you can stay hydrated as you're out and about. As with most Thule products the instructions come in mainly diagram form, but they are gonna be pretty easy to follow to ensure that you get everything set up properly. And so if you are wanting to convert your Thule Chariot to take the little ones out with you as you're skiing, this is gonna be the kit that you need. That completes our look for today.
